  1. --:--(==##//(CHAPTER ONE)##==)--:-- Tahu stood in the dark cavern, the light from his sword flickering in his anger-stricken eyes. He was angry. Angry at the Makuta for killing everyone he loved. He hated it when that happened. It made him angry. The Makuta laughed. He was evil. He had killed everyone Tahu loved and made him angry.Tahu yelled at Makuta. "You killed everyone I loved!" he yelled. "I will have my revenge!""No, Tahu," Makuta cackled. "We're no different, are we? Or do Toa kill now?""No!" Tahu couldn't believe what the Makuta had just said. He was a hero and Makuta was the villain. "I am the hero and you are the villain! I don't kill!"The anger burned in Tahu's eyes. He shot fireballs at Makuta. Makuta swallowed them into another dimension with his shadow powers and laughed. "You cannot defeat me, Tahu," he laughed. "You suck."Tahu grew angry. He set himself on fire and jumped towards Makuta. Makuta stepped out of the way and kicked Tahu as he fell to the ground. Tahu groaned. His side hurt from where he had been kicked by Makuta. Makuta laughed evilly and kicked Tahu again for good measure. He walked out dramatically at some point, then came back holding a mysterious glowing crystal. The light glowed and lit up in a bright way. The room was filled with light, then suddenly grew dark as Tahu lost consciousness. --:--(==##//(&)##==)--:-- Tahu woke up on a beach. The tide drifted slowly around him as he sat up and rubbed his eyes. He got sand in them.He was on Mata-Nui! He couldn't remember what had happened after the fight with Makuta. He remembered being kicked, then being knocked out by the mysterious glowing crystal. He didn't know what the crystal was. He only knew that he had to defeat Makuta at all costs. He stood up and began walking towards Ta-Koro. They knew him there. They would be able to help. --:--(==##//(END OF CHAPTER ONE)##==)--:-- --:--(==##//( REVIEW TOPIC)##==)--:--
  2. Alrightsy. As some of you may know, I have been writing a continuation of The Powers That Be. I enjoyed doing that so much that I decided to do a continuation of The Yesterday Quest. So here it is! Before reading this, I suggest you read The Powers That Be Continuation, as it makes certain events in this story make more sense. PLEASE leave me some feedback, even if it's something simple like "I liked this epic", or "I didn't like this epic." You can read the original first three chapters by Greg Farshety here Review Topic Chapter 4 Chiara fired a bolt of lightning at one of the two Vorox, and his weapons were shattered moments later by Zaria. The other Vorox let out an alarm cry, and then turned and fired a shot from his cannon that sent Chiara tumbling back into the bushes. Zaria dove out from behind his cover and pinned the Vorox who had sounded the alarm to the ground.Zaria slammed his fist into the Vorox’s head, and the Sand Glatorian fell to the ground, his helmet cracked from Zaria’s blow. The first Vorox tried to get up, but it was knocked flat on its back by Chiara, who stomped out of the bushes, glaring, and blowing her hair-like strands that came from her head out of her face. The two Toa turned and headed in the direction of that Gelu and Orde had gone, and Chiara said, “So how are we going to beat Kabrua if he can shut off our powers?”“Did I mention I killed Makuta once? He was the guardian of an island just south of Daxia. His name was Malox, had quite the habit of bragging about himself.” Zaria said, “I beat him by letting his pride go to his head and letting him think he had beaten me. When he bent down to take my mask, I shattered his armor and slew him.”Chiara said, “So how does that help us with Kabrua?”“Kabrua believes that he has us cornered and beaten because he can take away our powers.” Zaria said, “But we have other weapons besides our elemental ones.”He pulled out a sword out that he had taken from one of the Vorox, and tossed a cannon to Chiara, saying “You like explosions?”Chiara grinned and narrowed her eyes, “Oh yes. I love explosions.” The Toa of Lightning said as she armed the launcher. … Gelu and Orde jumped down from the tree and ran upstream, towards the direction of the nearest Vorox. Kabrua and one of the other Sand Glatorian had run back in the direction of Chiara and Orde at the sound of an alarm call being made by one of the other Vorox.Gelu spotted the Vorox at the same moment the Sand Tribe Glatorian spotted him, and the two charged at each other. Moments before the Two Glatorian met, the Vorox skidded and slumped to the ground.Gelu turned to look at Orde, who was just opening his eyes. “Nighty night,” Said the Toa of Psionics, “Looks like Kabrua’s the only one who can disable my powers, because I had no trouble with that one.” He indicated a finger towards the unconscious Sand Tribe warrior.Suddenly Chiara and Zaria exploded out from a clump of bushes about ten feet from where Orde and Gelu stood. Zaria grabbed both the Toa of Psionics and the Iconox Glatorian and dove into the water, and the three of them were swept downstream.Chiara dipped one of her feet into the river and winced; she hated water. She turned at the sound of Kabrua’s footsteps, took a deep breath, and dove into the water.Kabrua popped out of the bushes a moment after Chiara disappeared around a bend in the river. He glanced around, scanning the beach for the Toa, but there was no sign of them, and he had lost all four of his warriors. He growled and ran back into the forest to gather more men together to hunt down the escaped prisoners… … Gelu, Zaria, and Orde stepped out of the river, shaking the water from their feet as they did walked onto the bank. Chiara stumbled out a few seconds later, and spewed water out of her mouth. Her hair was plastered to her mask, and her entire body was covered with water from head to toe. Orde let out a little chuckle as he saw her, which earned him a bolt of electricity in the foot.A smile broke out on Chiara’s face as she watched Orde hop around on one foot, howling with pain, and she slowly twisted up her hair, trying to wring out the water.Gelu spoke up, “How did you manage to get away from Kabrua?”Zaria was the one who answered, “We fought him with his own weapons. When he and the other Vorox came out of the jungle, we jumped the other one and stole his weapons.”He tossed a cannon to Orde, and the Toa of Psionics stared at the weapon, trying to figure out how it worked. Chiara turned to Gelu and said, “So now what?”Gelu opened his mouth to answer, but Zaria answered before he could, “Now we trap Kabrua, and find out how he managed to get information from a Great Being. After all, it might even help us find one of the Great Beings.”Gelu nodded, he had been about to suggest almost the same exact thing. The three Toa and Gelu began to set up a trap. When Kabrua came out of the jungle, all four of them would attack him at once, making him think all his enemies were in front of them. They had secretly hidden the two launchers in the bushes and tied the triggers to a vine. Then, when the Vorox emerged, Kabrua or another unlucky Sand Glatorian would get blasted in the back. The four of them finished, and waited ... Ten Minutes … Twenty … Thirty … An hour; and still no sign of Kabrua, or anyone for that matter. Orde was about to sit down, when Gelu said, “Quiet, something’s coming.”All four of them readied themselves. Suddenly half a dozen Vorox exploded from out of the ground right in front of the group, and safely past the tripwire. Two dove at Gelu, and another two at Zaria. Chiara tried to use her elemental lightning, but found she couldn’t, and watched as Kabrua tunneled up from underneath her, and almost managed to grab her legs. She locked her sword with his, and managed to knock his cannon from his hand. He activated her mask, and found that that still worked, but for some reason the sword she held was still visible. She threw it down and ran towards where the launchers were hidden. She picked one of them up and said, “Hey sand scum, open wide!”Kabrua turned towards her, and flew backwards as a sphere of energy struck him in the chest. Orde wrapped his arm around the stunned Sand Tribe leader’s neck and said, “Get back, all of you, or your leader gets it!”Kabrua laughed, “You wouldn’t kill me Toa. It would be going against your precious code.”Orde held Kabrua’s own sword against his neck, and pulled the blade closer, allowing a drop of blood to drip onto the ground. Kabrua’s smile disappeared and he said, “You wouldn’t.”Orde pulled the blade even closer, and three more drops escaped from the wound. “Watch me.” said the Toa of Psionics.Kabrua waved his hand, and five of the Vorox crawled back into the forest, casting loathing glares over their shoulders as they went. The six Vorox lay dead, slain by Gelu. The Iconox Glatorian walked over to Kabrua and said, “Talk. How did you shut off the Toa’s powers?”The Vorox laughed and replied, as if the answer was obvious, “Why, a Great Being showed me.”Gelu glanced at Orde, and then continued, “Who? What was his name?”The Sand Tribe leader rolled his eyes as if he were getting bored of the conversation, but still said, “He was disguised as one of you.” He indicated towards the Toa and continued, “One of the ones, you call, Po-Matoran. I believe his name was…Velika...”
  3. Here's the review thread for my COT Epic. I wrote about for chapters of this a while back, been planning to continue it, thought I'd post it here to see what people thought. Next chapters will be added soon. That's it for now. It was a idea I had a while back, to combine Halo and Avatar since their space marines were similar to me. All the information about Pandora is cannon, and I got it all from the Avatar wiki. Reviews would be much appreciated. Link to the Epic!

He was lean and muscular, with short, spiked hair and intense silver eyes. His expression was hard and determined, but had a kind quality to it. He stopped in the middle of the room, ten eyes locked onto him. The tension in the room was tremendous. Nightwing spoke first. "You call yourself Sparta," he said slowly. The young man nodded. "You never gave us your real name." Sparta shook his head sadly. "That name was a part of me," he replied, "that died when I became that monster's apprentice." Cyborg cocked an eyebrow. "Whose apprentice?" "You know who," Sparta replied. His eyes met each Titan's. "He hurt all of you." His eyes fell on Beast Man, his expression suddenly repentant. "Some more than others." "So," Raven murmured. "He's back." "After Trigon's defeat," the youth began, "he decided that, to train an apprentice, he had to start younger, and to have the strongest, fiercest fighter possible. So he 'adopted' thirty children. Our first test: He put all of us in arena and said, 'Pick up your weapons and fight'." "You mean..." Starfire began. "Twenty-nine kids died in one hour," confirmed Sparta. "Including my younger brother. I did everything to protect him, but that... that murderer planned in advance; he coated the weapons with some kind of venom. One scratch from one, and you were as good as dead. If the toxin didn't finish you off, an opponent would. "I only killed one of them, and it was totally by accident," he continued, his expression distant, a tear forming in his eye. "And then, there were the augmentations, to make me faster, stronger, tougher, and more agile. It hurt more than anything I'd ever experienced." He paused. "Except for losing Kai." "Did he try to control you?" inquired Beast Man. Sparta nodded. "With a suit that was supposed to bind with my nervous system," the teenager answered. "But there was a side effect from the augmentations: The suit was designed to interface with a normal human nervous system." "And the chemicals rewrote yours," Cyborg muttered, nodding. "Rendering the suit useless," finished Nightwing. Sparta nodded. "That was the one thing he didn't count on," he said. "When I found out that the suit wouldn't work, I fought back, and nearly eliminated him." The Titans abruptly sat straighter in their seats. "You... attempted to destroy him?" asked Starfire. "But, for what reason?" "He took everything away from me!" Sparta hissed angrily. "My life, my childhood, and the only family I had!" His eyes seemed to glow as his voice rose. "You've seen both first- and secondhand what that monster can do! Don't you remember what he did to Terra?" In a blur of black and green, Beast Man leaped across the room, transformed into a Tyrannosaurus, and pinned Sparta with a clawed foot. He bared eight-inch long fangs at the candidate. "Beast Man!" Raven cautioned, her eyes glowing white. With a growl, Beast Man returned to human form. "Never," he warned icily, "speak of her again." He stalked back to his seat.Sparta stood up, appearing calm. "See?" he pointed out. "It's been ten years, and he still haunts you five." His eyes narrowed. "I want to join the Titans to help people. I think that'd be spitting in the old man's eye.""What will you do," Nightwing asked slowly, "if you encounter him again?"Sparta's fists clenched until his fingernails drew blood."After I find Slade, I'm going to kill him, and end his reign of terror for all and eternity."

  7. The Chronicles of Karzahni book one: Duel of Destiny Karzahni stood on a hill, observing his vast realm. He shook with anger with the memory of the events of the day before. He and his brother, Artakha, had been informed by the Great Being Angonce that they were to do battle over a Kanohi mask of great power. He had been shocked, as had Artakha, that the Great Beings would ever ask that they fight, but the mask was apparently a prize worth combat, and the winner would receive it. So he and Artakha had readied themselves for battle, both prepared to prove that they were the better of the two, and to achieve the coveted Mask of Creation. The battle was ferocious, with both himself and his brother hesitant at first, then going at each other with all they had. Karzahni himself had been the one to strike first, though not physically, he had activated his mask power, and given Artakha a vision of losing the battle, with Karzahni as the victor, and Artakha left behind in shame. After the vision had reached the point where the Matoran respected and trusted Karzahni and despised Artakha, however, Karzahni wasn’t sure what would come next, and the vision became less and less believable. It wasn’t long after that before Artakha realized the illusion, and returned his mind to reality. Then, the fight was on. Karzahni began swinging his flaming chains, while Artakha charged, swinging with his blunt, yet powerful and threatening warhammer. Karzahni at first managed to dodge a few of Artakha’s swings, managing to strike Artakha with his chains when he had the opportunity, but Artakha had become tired of this, and now began swinging with deadly accuracy. Karzahni knew that he could not match his brother in physical strength, so he tried even more desperately to evade Artakha’s attacks, and weaken him by slashing him with his chains. Karzahni’s desperate tactics were unsuccessful, however, and Artakha quickly closed the gap between them, finally landing a hard blow on Karzahni’s leg as Karzahni tried to dodge. This was the beginning of the end of the fight. Karzahni spun around and put up a furious resistance, but it was over, Artakha struck again and again, with Karzahni on the ground, trying to roll out of the way, and failing. Karzahni had taken some serious damage, but wasn’t ready to give up that mask yet, he kicked Artakha’s legs out from beneath him and slashed Artakha’s face with his chain while returning to his feet. Karzahni began furiously hacking at his brother with his chains, the fight was personal now, it was no longer just about the mask, it was about him, and Artakha, Karzahni wasn’t going to let Artakha leave when he surrendered, he was going to kill him. Artakha saw the look of madness filling Karzahni’s eyes as Karzahni relentlessly struck again and again with his chains. Artakha knew that Karzahni was angry, furious, and he knew that he had to save himself, he wondered if he would be able to beat Karzahni when he was like this. Artakha also worried that, in order to win, he might have to kill Karzahni. Karzahni was blindly slashing and hacking now, roaring insanely. Artakha wasn’t sure what had driven him to such an uncontrollable state of rage, but now that this was happening, he needed to fight back. Karzahni, on the other hand, wasn’t thinking about any of this, he was just thinking about how Artakha had been privileged with creative talent and abilities, while he was gifted with nothing. He was thinking about how Artakha was stronger than he, and surely the Great Beings must have known this. They had wanted Artakha to win, he was sure. Now, Artakha had gotten him onto the ground, rolling around in the dirt, trying to dodge his hammer, he wouldn’t stand for it! With these thoughts of anger, hatred and fury swirling around in his mind, Karzahni ripped and tore at Artakha with his claws and chains, reaching out with the power of his mask to terrorize Artakha with the most nightmarish vision his mind would allow, and his mind would allow for some pretty freaky things. Artakha fought back, resisting the vision and using his advantage of strength to force Karzahni back, so that Artakha would have room to return to his feet. Karzahni began screaming with rage, at this, and increased his attack with his chains, and with his mind. Karzahni’s mental attack, now, was so strong that for Artakha it was entwined with reality, making it difficult to focus, to understand what was going on, and to fight. Artakha took a desperate swipe with his hammer, and the hammer impacted Karzahni’s torso, sending him flying a few feet back. Artakha returned to his feet just in time to be able to defend against Karzahni’s attack, as Karzahni charged forward once again, claws slashing, chains flailing. Artakha deflected his attack, then kicked him back, as Karzahni came charging once again, Artakha performed one of his most devastating maneuvers, he did a full 360 degree spin for momentum, and brought his hammer up as he reached the point where he was facing Karzahni once more. The hammer connected with Karzahni’s jaw in one of the most powerful uppercuts ever to be performed in the Matoran universe. Karzahni was sent flying upward and a few feet back. Karzahni landed with a thud in the dirt, and before he could stand, Artakha ran forward and performed another move, similar to the one he had just used, but this time, he brought the hammer down on Karzahni versus bringing it up toward his chin. Karzahni crashed to the ground, struck by Artakha’s hammer, just as he was beginning to stand. Karzahni, managed to move into a sitting position, his rage now entwined with fear, and Artakha struck him in the chest with the hammer, sending him flying. Karzahni scooted himself back, trying to escape his brother’s hammer. Karzahni was now shouting at Artakha, “Stop! No! Aaaggg-ugh. I surrender, I surrender!” Artakha stopped, hammer held over his head in preparation for another strike. Angonce walked over from where he had been watching a couple hundred feet away. He held out the Mask of Creation to Artakha, and announced, “You are the victor, and have fairly won the Mask of Creation and the right to wear it. Take it, and use it wisely.” Artakha held out his hand and received the Kanohi. Angonce then turned to Karzahni and spoke, “You have lost, you may now honorably return to you realm.” With that, Angonce walked away, and that was the last of him Karzahni ever saw. Karzahni had returned to his realm, and that’s where he stood now. He sighed, he knew it was pointless to constantly remember things of the past that brought only hatred and anger to his mind, but still, he thought, someday, I will have my revenge, and my brother shall pay. Karzahni turned away, and began stepping down the hill, the time for his revenge was not yet, and he knew that it may be a long time before he could have his vengeance, and in the meantime, he had made his realm a place for Matoran to come to be repaired, so repair them he would, and he would do so to the best of his ability for the thousands of years to come until he could have his revenge.________________________________________________________________________________Comments, critisizm, and such all greatly appreciated.Review topic
  8. Discussion of the development of and news about the upcoming movie Pacific Rim, due out next summer. News so far has been relatively slow, but will hopefully pick up as the movie enters post-production.The film will be about a series of monster attacks on coastal cities around the Pacific Ocean (hence the title) and the battles with the 'Jaeger' mechs built by humans to combat them. So think of this as Transformers meets Good Moviemaking, with some Evangelion thrown into the premise for good measure (except for the fact that the pilots aren't mentally scarred children). And given what Del Toro has said about the fight scenes so far, this is going to definitely be one of those movies I'll have to see on opening night. So... thoughts? While I was a bit suspicious at first because of the premise's similarity to Neon Genesis Evangelion, I was quickly relieved when I found out that the rest of the plot was nothing like it. And in addition to the fact that a real live-action Eva movie would probably suck, this will most likely satisfy my desire for big-screen mecha for the time being.
  9. Chapter 1:The red spartan cocked his shotgun and packed up his grenades. Next to him, a light blue spartan readied her sniper rifle and her energy sword she stole from a Zealot rank Elite. The red spartan also grabbed a rocket launcher and placed it on his back and grabbed an armor lock pack. The red spartan was spartan Z107, his real name was Zac, and the blue spartan was spartan H16G, real name was Hannah. The two finished grabbin their supplies and went on the warthog along with a ODST solider on the turret. "Ready sis?" Zac said putting on his Modified Mark IV helmet."Don't kill us with you driving," Hannah teased readying her sword.Zac just rolled his head and started the warthog, and when the hanger door went up, he drove the car out of the base and into the field filled with covenant troops. The warthog rocketed out o the hanger and was crashing through Grunts, Zac loved to do that to the little maggots. Hannah started to quickly slice through the Jackals and Grunts that were stupid enough to get close to the warthog. The ODST Started to shoot the covenant troops that the sword couldn't reach, until Zac drive them into a safe zone. Zac was almost near an ideal hiding spot, a broken down Wraith they could turn into a small barricade, until the car was flipped to its side by a cloud of blue smoke and fire. They got stuck by a plasma grenade. The three were tossed of the military vehicle and sent flying across the sand. Zac thought quickly and activated his Armor Lock and fell to the sand, unharmed. He deactivated it and got up, only to be hit by his sister who was flung into him by the explosion. "Dang it!" Zac said as he got up pulling out his shotgun, "Could you try to not crash into me?!""Shut up Zac!" Hannah said grabbing her sword from the sand and charged at the owner of the plasma grenade, a Brute. The brute swung it's hammer with Hannah barely dodging the massive weapon, and she sliced its right arm, however it took noticed and grabbed her arm. Zac charges at the brute and used his shotgun and pierced its chest, but stil that monster didn't fall and instead tossed Zac at the warthog. Zac slowly got up and took notice of their ODST team member, dead. Those guys always die, he then took notice of the turret, it's still intact. Zac pushed the warthog back on its wheels and got on the turret. The brute tossed Hannah to the ground and readied its hammer for a final blow, until it was pierced down by hundreds of bullets piercing its skin and it fell to the ground. "Thanks Zac," Hannah said getting up and heading for the warthog,"No problem," Zac said getting into the drivers seat, and Hannah got into the turret, "Let's get back to work,"
  10. On the wiki: http://exo-force.wik...ok_1:_The_Gorge (Perms given by B6)Review Topic: http://www.bzpower.c...?showtopic=4844(Next Book) Book 2: Golden City Origins: http://www.bzpower.c...?showtopic=4845 Introduction Alrightsy everyone, I've been recently working on an exo-force epic series, trying to fill in some of the blanks that were left when exo-force had it's cliffhanger ending, and not just ones from the Deep Jungle Era, I begin the series with a well-known event of the White Lightning vs. Bridge Walker battle, and you find out many things that were left a mystery in Book 4: Ghost of the Past, of the original canon series. The battle between the White Lightning and B.W.1 is over, with Ha-Ya-To leaving victorious, but Meca One’s battle is just beginning, read the previously untold story as Meca One travels through a deep and seemingly unending journey as he attempts to get back to his base, all while avoiding a strange creature that feeds on raw energy. Chapter 1 The Fall “Nooooooooo!” Meca One screamed as his Bridge Walker, B.W.1 plummeted over the edge of the bridge. The leader of the robots felt the wind rush past his metallic body. He stared downwards as the massive walker fell down deeper and deeper into the giant pit known as the Gorge that lay between the two halves of the Sentai Mountain. He calculated that at this rate of decent, he would not survive the fall. Suddenly, the walker hit water with a loud metallic clap, and one of its massive arms broke off of the battle machine, and flew off to the right of the water. Meca One felt the water rushing into the cockpit, but felt no urgency to get out, his body was immune to water; but the bridge walker’s twin power cores were not, the vehicle began to short circuit, and Meca One slammed his metal claw on the eject button, but it didn’t respond. He swung his outstretched hand at the roof of the cockpit, slicing open the layer of glass and plastic alloy used for the windshield. He swam upwards as B.W.1 exploded beneath him. His gold head broke the surface, and he pushed his way over to the bank. He stared around; there were some forms of vegetation around him, a few mosquitoes buzzed around in the air. Suddenly Meca One noticed something, the arm of B.W.1 lay several yards away, and one of his gunners, a Devastator, was emerging from the remains of the cannon arm. The robot stepped onto the ground, and saw Meca One immediately and it kneeled and said, “Leader, what are your orders?” Meca One said, “Are you still fully functional? Do you have your back-up power cell and hand-held blaster?” The robot nodded and said, “Yes, leader.” Meca One said, “Good, give me your extra cell, I’m going to need it since mine was lost with the rest of the unit. Get your weapon, we must figure out a way to reach the base again.” The Devastator reached into the damaged B.W.1 arm, and pulled out a small red energy cell, which it handed to Meca One, then it grabbed a blaster. The two robots walked into a dense Jungle, silently looking around, and not saying anything, robots feel no need for conversation, they are both almost the same in programming, and anything they think of the other has already calculated, and there’s no point in wasting energy on pointing it out unless it poses a threat. Suddenly there was a rustle of leaves, and the Devastator turned towards the sound, aiming its blaster carefully. Suddenly the bushes parted and a squirrel darted out from the brush. The Devastator fired several shots at the creature, killing it. It walked up to it and said, “Some form of rodent, it appears to be no threat.” It walked away from the creature, which lay motionless, but after the two robots had moved on, a shadow flashed past the squirrel, snatching it up and darting back into the bushes. Meca One pulled one of his energy cells out from his head, and looked at how much power it had left, he calculated that as long as nothing abnormal happened, such as battle or something else that would require heavy calculation, then it should last for about three more hours, combined with the other one, six hours. He slid it back in and continued walking. The two robots suddenly came out into an open area, there was a spot where several tree stumps had once been, but they had been burned away, and all that remained was ash and scarred ground. Meca One spoke, “The remains of one of our camps during the rebellion, there might be equipment we can use nearby.” The Devastator nodded, and they split up. Meca One walked back into the forest, looking around for damaged mining vehicles or equipment, suddenly he heard a metallic yell, and he turned back and walked into the clearing. He cautiously walked into the brush that the Devastator had gone into, and he spotted something a ways off. He walked closer, and saw that it was a damaged mining vehicle, the Vulture Drone; the predecessor of the Fire Vulture, which meant it could fly. He looked inside the cockpit, nothing seemed badly damaged about it, the only real damage was that one of its arms, originally with a drill, was missing, but that was unimportant. He opened up the cockpit, not caring what had happened to the Devastator, after all, there was nothing down here that could cause damage to him, and the Vulture Drone was only capable of carrying one unit, and his survival was of far more importance than a simple minion. He pressed a button on his arm, and transferred all but a very small amount of energy into one of his energy cells. He pulled the remaining one with a little bit of power out and slid it into the Vulture Drone’s power slot. He powered the Mining Vehicle up, and moved the controls, causing it to stand up. He pressed a button to his right, and the vehicle lifted off the ground slowly, he piloted it around for a while, until it shut down from using up all the energy and landed back down on the ground. He slid the energy cell back into his head, and was about to put the full back up energy cell into the Vulture Drone, when suddenly there was a noise, he looked to his left, and suddenly the Devastator flew out of the forest right into the Vulture Drone, and toppled it. The golden robot got back onto his feet, and looked at the ground, the Devastator lay on the ground, its eyes were dark, and as Meca one looked closer both of its energy cells were empty. Meca One looked at the forest. Suddenly a creature darted out from the bushes. Meca One held his hands up in front of his face as the creature screeched and dove at him...

    The Leaking

Review topic: http://www.bzpower.c...?showtopic=4328The leakingDuring the final battle between Mata-nui and Teridax, a giant moon crashed into Teridax's metallic shell and thus, caused an explosion that would destroy Bara-Magna if it wasn't for the Ignika. Mata-nui used the Ignika and zapped Brutaka, who was nearby fighting a horde of Skakdi. Using his power, Mata-Nui teleported Teridax's dead body into another dimension but he also teleported himself and a few other nearby warriors into another dimension by accident. This dimension, is known as-The Leaking.Chapter oneMata-nui woke up into a jungle; he did not know where he was. He had no memory of the past. He then saw that he had a body again. And he saw a couple of warriors that he teleported into this dense Jungle. He also saw Teridax's giant body, burning. And then he saw that Brutaka, who was waking up, was outraged that this had happened."Mata-nui, you FOOL! If it wasn't for you and your blasted Ignika, we would at least be on Bara-Magna right now. So what if a couple of people died, at least we would be alive (hopefully). But no, now we are trapped in some jungle! Curse you and your blasted Ignika that I was...." The words never come out of his mouth, because he exploded into a million bits of light as soon as he cursed the Ignika."Well, look what you've done, "said Acklar, "First, you teleport us into another dimension, and then you kill our only hope of escaping out of here! And, to your well-being, we're stuck here with a Skrall!""Hey, look: if I was THAT dangerous to you, you'd be all dead already""Hush, hush. Get past our differences, okay?" Said Mata-Nui, "The only way to get out of here is if we team up"At that point, a giant muscular creature, about six feet and four inches tall, leaped out of the trees.

  15. Team Curse Review Topic - Chapter 1: A new dawn - He awoke. At first he couldn’t see very well, but soon his eyes got better and he saw a big sandy land. The sky was clear and the sun was shining high in the air, but at the horizon he spotted some dark clouds – they were far, honestly, and not so many to be feared to carry a tempest with them, however he didn’t like them very much, because experiences acquired sometime in the past, a past he seemingly almost lost, told him they wouldn’t just make rain. There were no signs of life around him, just sand and a few stones.Life he had been brought back without a particular reason. The fact is, how could he possibly be back to the living world? He didn’t know that, he just knew he was in some sort of desert.“No way of knowing where to go” he said. “Just what I needed. But let’s not go mad. I should better sum up.”“First, who am I? Second, where am I? Third, why am I here? Fourth, where’s the nearest village? And fifth, is there anyone around here?”“Is that all?”Answered.A voice suddenly came from behind him. As he turned to see who spoke he saw a tall figure standing up near a rock. The mysterious being carried a sword, two throwing knives and a dagger. His armor was red, silver and black and a mantle covered his back. He had never seen him, but he felt like he could rely on that mysterious person.“Is that all? You know, it isn’t so good to have a Toa that came from nowhere just half an hour ago while I was crossing the desert and is now nearly going mad asking himself things. Definitely not anyone's first desire. Perhaps someone’s first nightmare. I’m in the second group, so, I beg you, stop that or I will have to do something bad to your head. If you will agree I could someway help you.”As the character saw the Toa, because the newly reborn person was a Toa, becoming more reasonable, he started speaking.“Good. First, I cannot help you. You’re just a stranger appeared between the sands, for me. Second, you’re on the recently reformed planet of Spherus Magna. Third, I know as much as you do.”That wasn’t enough for the Toa. He still had to know who was he talking to and was about to ask him about when the unknown figure answered his question before knowing it.“I read from your eyes that you’re trying to create a link between my body and a name. Well, I don’t know if you’ve ever heard it. I think you’ve never seen me, too. Now by now I can tell you my name is Aetius. You’ll learn my past in another moment.”Aetius. The Toa had to admit that the warrior was right: he had never heard it. However, he didn’t show fear or doubt when he asked “So, what are we going to do?”.“I think I will take you to the village. And this should answer the fourth. There’s someone that could do the same to the other questions. And I need a weapon for you. At the moment you should stay behind me. Being a Toa will help you, but your powers won’t if you don’t remember how to make ‘em work.”---Aetius started walking heading north. The Toa followed him, having nothing more to do and hoping to find out who or what wanted him alive, hoping to find some old friends, if they still existed, hoping to find a home. There was just hope for him. He didn’t notice the shadow that dug into the sand as they left. Aetius did: instinctively he put his hand on the dagger.

    In The Shadows

In the Shadows "It's what is in the dark. It's what is always in the dark." Chapter One On some days, the sea is calm and peaceful. On these days the waters could be navigated even by the most amateur of beings. Today is not one of these days. Today, the seas are as dark as night and the waves are as violent as an angered skakdi. And amidst the crashing waves, a small craft struggles against the surf. The craft is a light, agile vessel, looking more suited for races or days in the sun than ferrying passengers between Xia and Metru Nui. Which is exactly what it was designed for. The passengers of this vessel, desperate as they were, had payed it’s owner a large sum to bring them to Metru Nui, a fact they would soon regret. For the craft could not maintain it’s course for long. And indeed it didn’t, as the next wave was the worst yet, towering over the craft, more than three times the height of the boat. The crew and passengers of the craft braced themselves, knowing that nothing short of Mata Nui himself could stop this wave from colliding with them. And collide it did, capsizing the vessel. The sea claimed it’s prize, owing it to the stupidity of one being, who refused to make landfall on a nearby island.****************************************************************************************************The storm had already subsided and night had fallen when several cold, wet beings dragged themselves onto the beach. One stood abruptly and walked over to another. The first being drew back his arm and punched the other being when he attempted to stand. “This is your fault, Krayn! If you weren’t so bound and determined to have everything your way, we wouldn’t be in this situation!”The second being, now identified as Krayn, stood. “Oh really? If we didn’t have to get back to Metru Nui so quickly for your court date, we wouldn’t be in this mess!” The toa of fire heated up the water soaking him, forcing it to evaporate. A third being straightened carefully, before speaking.“Mrak is right Krayn, at least in this regard.” His tone indicated his anger, though his voice remained cold.“Oh really, Ern?” Krayn responded, openly displaying his anger. “We don’t know anything about this island, it was safer to keep going! I thought you liked logical decisions!”“Your decision was not logical. The logical choice would have been to stop at this island, and wait for the storm to blow over. That way, no matter what was here, we would still have a ship. This way, we are here regardless with no ship.”Krayn inhaled sharply, as if to speak again, but he was cut off when Faen entered the conversation. “Stop it, all of you. We aren’t accomplishing anything by standing around arguing.”“Yeah, listen to the turaga. You guys aren’t accomplishing anything except making the rest of us go deaf.” A sarcastic voice commented. Drin’s eyes narrowed. “Krayn, if you say what you are thinking about saying, I will personally render you incapable of ever speaking again.” Her tone left no doubt that she would carry out her threat.Ern sighed. “Alright, everyone shut up. Did any of the crew members survive?”“I don’t think so.” Faen answered.“Well, Faen was nearest to the crew when the ship went down, so she would probably know.” Drin commented.Ern nodded, accepting the information without a hint of emotion. “What have we got left for supplies?”Krayn interrupted before anyone could answer. “Wait, what is with this ‘we’ stuff?”Drin laughed bitterly. “Well, since we are all stuck here because of your genius plan, we’re gonna have to work together.”Krayn bristled. Ern spoke again. “My question still stands.”Mrak spoke quietly. “I think that we all still have most of our weapons, but we don’t have any food.”“Well, the thief would know!” Krayn said mockingly. Mrak flinched, an action rarely seen on a vortixx.“Alright, Krayn, shut up unless you have something helpful to say.” Ern looked thoughtful. “Well, we can’t do anything in the dark. So, let’s settle down for the night here. We’ll need to have somebody keeping watch at all times. I’ll take first shift. Drin, you take second.” The toa of psionics nodded. “And Krayn you have last watch.”The toa of fire protested. “What about Mrak and Faen? Why don’t they have to keep watch?”“So you really want a thief, and the elderly keeping watch over you while you sleep?” Drin said mockingly. “Another brilliant idea. You’re just full of them, aren’t you Krayn?”“That is enough, you two.” Faen cut in before further words could be exchanged. “Ern is right. This plan works the best.”Krayn snorted derisively, but lay down on the sand a little ways from the shore. Drin lay down a few feet away from him, and both Faen and Mrak did the same in turn. Ern, on the other hand, drew his katana and settled in for a long, long night.****************************************************************************************************Drin was the first to awake the next morning, stretching her limbs, she stood and took in her surroundings. The group had made landfall on a beach with a dense, forested area ahead. The trees were tall enough to block the view of all but the top of a mountain rising in the distance. So, this is likely a volcanic island. She cast around with her mind, in an effort to locate any sentient life, but if there was any, it was out of range. She sighed, and turned to wake the others. Krayn was already awake and ignoring her. Review Topic
  17. I don't really like the actual story for hero factory (Aimed at younger audience, so its not serius enough for me), so I decided to write an epic that still uses the core idea of Hero Factory (A factory that makes heros called hero factory), while making the story line more serious and more...epic. It takes place on the same planet as the normal hero factory storyline (Its called Quatros right...?), but instead of just making heroes that come to life when a core is implanted, the memories and mind of some of the biological inhabitants of the planet are implanted into the robot bodies. Without further introductory text, I give you: Trials of shadow ~1~ I woke with a start. Who am I? Where am I? Then I remember, I start to feel my memories returning. But something is not right, this is not me. Then the memory my mind was looking for comes to me, why I suddenly found myself as a ten-foot tall robot clad in silver armor. I was still in the factory; I don’t know where my real body is right now. Probably in some dumpster, or being turned into scrap metal. It doesn’t matter; I chose to leave that life behind, to become a hero. As I recount all my memories while watching other heroes being made, others who had made the same choice as me, a voice tells me to turn to a screen, which has suddenly appeared behind me. It tells me exactly what had happened, in case my memories were damaged during the transfer. It goes through the process; how I had arrived at the factory, how they had taken my memories and mind from my old body and put them in here. I ignored the rest that the screen told me, my memories were fine. I knew what this place was, why I was here, and what I needed to do. I walked into a long corridor, and left my old life behind forever. I proceeded down the long hallway, passing the rooms of many others who had found themselves here, just like me. They would soon realize who they were, and do as I was doing now. When I reached the end of the hall, a door opened up and a mechanical voice said “Please, enter”. Inside was a large paneled room. I had read about this place, there was a deathtrap waiting for me in every inch of this room. A different voice filled all of the room, and spoke to me.“Welcome to Hero Factory. You are very courageous to have given up your life to come to this place, to protect our world. In this room you will be tested, and ranked as Alpha, Beta, Gamma, or Delta. This will determine what squad you are assigned to. But first things first, what is your name?” I hesitated, almost forgetting my name for a second. But soon I answered: “Drake. Drake Novos.”“Good, now you must choose your weapons and armor, Novos. Please place any excess default armor in the disposal.” As the voice said it, four of the panels on the ground lifted up to reveal armor and weapon storage cells. I walked over; there were weapons and armor of all sorts. Large blasters, small blasters, swords, shields, bows, cannons that would fit an entire arm; you name it, it was probably there. I picked out an energy sword and a shield, and then moved on to look at the seemingly endless rows of armor. After a few minutes, a picked out some decent armor in gold and red, and placed my old basic silver armor in the disposal area, where it was destroyed so that it could be used to make other things. Once I was finished, the voice continued.“Now the training will begin. In a moment, you will be faced in every danger you could ever imagine. The training will stop when you have completed all the trials, or when you come too near to death.”With that I heard things in the room shifting, and knew that it was about to begin. This was the beginning of my life as a hero, and I would look back at this moment many times later. Look back in remorse, wishing this day would never have happened. ~1~ Review topic: http://www.bzpower.com/board/index.php?showtopic=2859

  19. This is where you can review my epic, Hero Factory: The Biosteel Chronicles. It can be found here. So, to kick things off, a wee bit of trivia. This story is the first Lego based one I have ever written. Thus, it's not too great. This story was also based completely off of MOC characters, including one character that was borrowed from another user on another site. But I digress. My first chapter is up, go to it.
  20. So, I've been debating on posting this for quite some time, and I finally decided to do it. This was my first shot at writing an original story, so it's not too fantastic, but I thought I might get some constructive criticism, and someone might enjoy it. BEHOLD!HERO FACTORY: THE BIOSTEEL CHRONICLES!SynopsisThe tale of an elite team of heroes, led by Samuel Swamper, and created out of an organic material that acts much like different types of metals known as Biosteel, and their quest to keep the secret of its source safe from the villian Rogue and his cronies, who live in the scrapyard on the other side of the planet that Biosteel is harvested from. This story is based completely on MOC characters. These will be posted and linked to.Chapter 1"Nothing came up on the radar. We got played." "I should have known!" The two strong, but not so smart robots were intently staring at the radar on their ship, looking for further directions on where to drop off the contraband they were carrying. "Now we're stuck here with illegal neuclear waste! What will we do? He said we'd get more instructions when we reached the coordinates." Suddenly, a dark, twisted voice buzzed over on their raido. "I did say that, and I always keep my word. Not that you two would think of it, but I had to make sure that the Factory didn't follow you. Now, go 13 parsecs toward the Nekron sector." The robots were dumbfounded. "But, that's restricted space! If we're found in there, with what we're carrying no less..." "Don't give me your excuses! I need that stuff. Just get here! You've already broken the law just carrying it. Restricted space should be nothing! And anyway, it wouldn't do you any good to go against me. I took the liberty of inserting a little... ''insurance'' in your pay. One wrong move and there will be an explosion that will rock Makuro himself!" The pair manuvered their freighter into the requested area as fast as possible. A small planet, half the color of dirty metal, and half green lay before them. "Now, jetteson the payload from your ship, and it must land exactly where I specify." The two smugglers did as they were asked. "Thank you. See you again-when I die! HAHAHAHAHAHA!" With that, the smuggling ship exploded.Samuel Swamper pulled out a pair of Electro-Binoculars. He followed the path of a strange comet. ''It's probably nothing more than a piece of shrapnel from the explosion earlier,'' he thought.'' Well, I better keep watching to make sure it lands on the other side of the planet.'' The comet arced down, and landed right in a lagoon full of the raw materials of Biosteel. ''Great.'' Swamper thought. ''Now I gotta send out a science crew to check it out. That'll take all day.''"Those fools! I should never have trusted them as much as I did. Corrupter, get over here!" The robot, twisted and evil, running on all fours, loped up to the shadows that hid his master. "Yessss?" he hissed. "The two fools we got to transport our payload flubbed the whole thing. I need you to recover it from the swamp. Do you understand?" His master had a commanding tone in his voice, but Corrupter still hadn't learned that he couldn't talk back to him. "But, but, thatssss Factory turf! I'd be caught before I took two sssssteps!" "That's why I'm sending you! With your core, you can beat any Hero that gets too close for comfort! Now get out of here, before I do to you what I did to the fools that flubbed their mission!" Corrupter slinked away as fast as he could. He didn't want to risk angering his master further.End of Chapter 1.Review this chapter here.

  22. This is the BZP clan of Terraria. IP: 127.0.0.1:7777World Name: BZP WorldServer Password: BzpterrariaSo yeah, this topic is where all of us BZP goers can talk about Terraria, and if we actually want to play then go to the BZP World and hang out and make slime soup!Rule Time!!!!1.No profanity, we want to keep it clean.2.No spam, because that is kinda dumb.3.When setting up play times, if you happen to no-show, please notify the person who you are playing with before hand you won't make it, if it's a group it doesn't really matter though.4. And lastly, have fun! Now, you can set up play times here with people on your own server, or the server listed above with me. Nothing has been done yet on the world so all of us can start from scratch, and no I won't play it solo and crash all your houses....maybe... But anyways, you can also talk just anything about Terraria also, like help on bosses or just tips or just discussing how amazing it is. So have at it.(One more thing, we will have a website up as soon as we can to better post events and discuss there as well as here.)
  23. There's another topic about who your favorite writers on BZP are, so I thought I'd make a topic asking you what your favorite fanfics are. So what's your favorite epic? Short Story? Comedy?-don't touch my pocket protector
  24. I just beat it. Total time was a little over 49 hours, with most sidequests completed. It is probably the most amazing game I've ever played. Defeating enemies has never felt so good. Defeating a horde of unending enemies has never felt better. The game makes you care for the characters. I plan to post a full review at some point. Probably for my new website, but that is another story that I won't be able to share due to it having forums. I will post a version here. Skyward Sword for Game of the Year. Groose for Character of the Year. -Kohaku
