  2. Welcome to the review topic for the BZP Fanfic Exchange epic, Red Sky in Morning. This epic was written for Toa Jaxus, who requested an interesting story without powerless protagonists. Leave your reviews and comments. I intend to update this post with a little bit of research material supporting a somewhat... irregular setting for BIONICLE (dare I say, lore-breaking?). Your input is appreciated and although the whole story is already written, insights will help me develop in future projects. Cheers! EDIT: Some References I used BS01 a whole lot to confirm certain characters' existence - or lack thereof - on the Red Star. Do you know how many Toa were killed by electrical attacks, thereby destroying their core circuitry and rendering them unable to be revived on the Red Star? Like, more than 10. The TTV Channel This apparently comes from a conversation with Greg F. regarding the recreation of masks. Red Star Revelations Some lengthy conversation on BZP regarding Red Star functions and purposes, from a podcast with Greg. GregF Answers A few tidbits of info here that are fun to consider. One point of note, Greg states that the Red Star "can't teleport right now" but I do not think that would stop someone from teleporting someone else to the Red Star if needed. (ie. why Karzahni is on the Star now instead of just dead in the Canyon). BS01 - Red Star General information regarding the Star.
  3. [Render] Karzahni, the Lord of Nightmares by Artemiy Karpinskiy, on Flickr "Look at this universe — damaged, broken, disorderly. It needs someone to take care of it ... to take care of everything and everyone, from now until forever." — Karzahni to Hahli, Dark Destiny This is Karzahni, the ruler of the hellish land in Matoran Universe, and the namesake of this realm. Since the time before Time, Karzahni was tasked with repairing the Matoran sent to him from all across the Matoran Universe. At first he really tried to make a difference for the poor things, but, with time, he realized he simply can't do it. Fueled by his envy for his "brother" Artakha and the maddening visions sent by his Kanohi Mask, Karzahni have slowly deteriorated into a tyrannical sociopath, prone to sudden and radical mood swings: one moment he's soft and welcoming, and the other he bursts into a murderous rage. In the past, he wore a black and gold armor, but with time its colors changed to reflect the deterioration of his psyche. His Kanohi Olisi is the Mask of Alternate Futures. Although not inherently evil or maddening, it was used by Karzahni to show his prisoners the worst possible futures that await them to break their morale. Karzahni's tools are known as Flaming Chains, they are capable of heating up to such degree that they'll still burn even when taken underwater. The chains are also made to channel the power of Kanohi Olisi. 4. i've always wanted to build this guy. he has a custom Olisi and cape, has waist articulation, as well as my first ever double knee joint on an moc and the olisi up close what do you think?
  5. sure many know the story of Karzahni and despite the nine years since the creation of this character has never died (although dies in history), but it has always been the courage to pass this character drawing to physical creation. aspect as this model does not focus entirely to version of the book however was fundamentetal to work more easily, so even replace certain items will not remove the original essence an example of this it was to eliminate the center belt with skull but these were replaced by skull spiders "like kneepads. previous mask designs: final version of the mask
  6. According to BS01, Karzahni "hosted" Jaller and his matoran crew for a time. When they travelled to his realm, Karzahni promptly had their masks removed and replaced with the non-organic versions of the Toa Inika masks. Did Karzahni make these masks that he forced them to wear? What about Kongu's Soletu? It seems like Kongu knew what type of mask that was because he swiched it with Karzahni's provided mask at the last second. When the Voya Nui Resistance Team found their easy into Karzahni's Lair, I am assuming he made them remove their masks as well. When the team left the realm, they were wearing Powerless Great Kanohi. Do you think they found those masks? Did Karzahni possibly make them? Did they leave unmasked? One of my friends suggested that Karzahni kept piles of masks to fix Matoran. That would be pretty cool.
  7. (This is my take on the events that happened before Bionicle 2015, assuming the mask is the Mask of Creation, which makes the most sense. Also the most I've written in quite a while.) Old Endings, New Beginnings “In the time before time, the Great Beings ruled this planet in peace and harmony, Then the selfish desires of the people split everything apart. A mission was begun to repair the damage, and a people were created. They needed a ruler, a creator, and so my brother and I fought over the right, Not a war of blades, but a war of minds. I emerged victorious and retrieved my right to be that ruler. My brother was always jealous, but he is gone now. Everything is gone. But I’m still sitting here!” The room shuddered as the massive green being pounded on his throne. His pedestal was the only lit thing in the room, though gleams of crystals and metal along the walls revealed it to be much larger. “These Toa believe they have the right to the glory! They believe they have the right to the people! Was it not I who created them? Was it not I who gave them the tools to save the Great Spirit?” The green being was standing now in an indignant fury, his throne and surroundings forgotten. He raised his hand as if expecting something to fall into it, then his mask glowed and stones from around the room fused into a rough puppet. The face had a round mouth edged by lines, and the eyes were narrow slits. Its only defense from the being’s fury was a pathetic-looking flaming sword. At the sight, the being threw the puppet across the room in disgust, and it shattered against a pillar. “They believe I will be safe here. As if there is any power that can defeat me!” His mask glowed again, and crystals in the shadows shuddered and slithered along the ground. “I am Artahka! The Great Creator, Wearer of the Legendary Mask of Creation! Nothing can…” All his anger ebbed away as he looked down to see a massive drill shoved through his heartlight. “No,” was all he could say. “There, there, Artahka. Let’s not get too excited. That’s right, just sit down.” The light that was blazing in Artahka’s eyes moments ago was fading as the titan weakened and collapsed back into the throne. “It’s…you, isn’t it? I remember you. You were the mad one who decided to watch.” “You think me mad? Could a mad Matoran bring down the Great Creator?” The little brown Matoran stepped into the light, a smug grin on his mask. His hunched, broken look gave him an extra feeling of malice. “You were never a Matoran. You’re much more than that.” “You’re right. I never was a Matoran. This body was though.” “Why are you doing this? You are destroying your very creations!” “Oh, Artahka. You’ve been watching just as I have. Haven’t you seen the petty disputes? The deactivations? These machines have gone too far.” Artahka could hardly sit up anymore. “They are more than just machines. You made sure of that.” The Matoran took a casual step away, turning his back on Artahka as if acknowledging he was no longer a threat. “That is true. But at journey’s end, they are still just cells. Little creatures going about their way, never realizing that they are living in and even serving a greater creature, far greater than they could even imagine! They are broken, confused, forced from the life they always knew.” “I have faith they will adapt.” “And if they don’t?” The Matoran turned around, his mask almost showing genuine concern. “Artahka, they need a leader.” Artahka could barely muster the words, but he spit them out anyways. “Not…one like you.” Suddenly, the Matoran jumped up onto the throne, showing agility no one would expect from his form. He forced Artahka’s head back, making the titan gasp in pain. “But I will be the only one left,” he whispered, mask to mask with his victim. The crazed grin on his face showed Artahka he was serious. And seriously insane. Artahka weakly raised a hand, his mask glowing almost imperceptibly. The crystals in the shadows shuddered again. “Oh, don’t try calling your ‘pets,’ Artahka. You are far too weak. You should have stopped me when you had the chance.” The Matoran hopped down, retrieved his drill, and began walking away. “Oh, wait, you never had a chance.” The last sound Artahka heard was the Great Being’s crazed laughter ringing down the halls. As the titan fell, the shadows were ready to greet him. The Legendary Mask of Creation, forgotten entirely by the little assassin, fell off and bounced into the waiting claws just out of the light. The creatures in the shadows pronounced their work good and scuttled off with the one of the most powerful masks in the universe.
  8. A bit of something new for me. I wanted to try something like this a long time back but I didn't know what to do. Given a lot of the mysteries of the Bionicle universe, especially those from the serials, I think there is something to work with now in addition to some of the already existent ones from the main storyline. Here we go... And before you ask, with this particular case the host is covering, there are going to be constant updates, so this first case isn't finished yet, before anyone asks. Hydraxon: In the eve of one cold night, there had been reports of various deaths that all had something in common. Tonight we investigate one of those deaths, which would be the death of Karzahni, as well as review the life of the deceased. I’m your host, Hydraxon, and I like wearing this trench coat. Join me, and you might be able to help me solve a mystery. *Insert “Bionicle: Unsolved Mysteries” title sequence.* Hydraxon: Sometime in the waking dawn on the newly reformed planet of Spherus Magna, a somewhat dull mission turned into a frightening experience when two lone Toa discovered the deceased body of the insane ruler known only as Karzahni at the bottom of Iron Canyon. From there, his body was brought in and examined by our team of specialists. Tahu, fire expert Tahu: I can definitely confirm he wasn’t burned. Trust me, I know these things. I like to burn stuff. Gali, healing expert Gali: Karzahni had seemingly fallen to his doom based on a large part of his injuries. To fall from Iron Canyon would yield great harm to one’s self alone, but it gets worse. Hydraxon: The two witnesses who discovered Karzahni had this to say… Kopaka, strategic specialist and loser in love Kopaka: Not only did Karzahni fall to his doom, but he landed on this little knife thing that was somehow waiting for him at the bottom of the cliff. Pohatu, weapon specialist, napkin collector, local athlete Pohatu: Actually, that’s an air sword. Kopaka: … Who carries around this little stub and calls it a sword? Pohatu: >_> Kopaka: Oh… right. But that’s different! Pohatu: Anyway, this is the Air Sword, usually carried by Toa Lesovikk. Hydraxon: Toa Lesovikk, as a fallen Toa, had personal issues with the demented tyrant and sought to personally bring justice with his own hand. However, several months earlier, he was robbed of that chance when Karzahni was arrested by the Order of Mata Nui, taken in by the member known as Botar. Unfortunately, we were unable to get an interview before his untimely demise, as Botar denied privilege for any questioning. Pohatu: Lesovikk just wanted to take matters into his own hands, for what he feels would be retribution for a lost chance being a hero. Kopaka: Personally I think he’s just out of his mind. Even if Karzahni was the way he is, why go out and push him to his demise? Hydraxon: While imprisoned by the Order of Mata Nui, Karzahni sought institution to help aid his shattered mind, which was made more insane by the ruthless Makuta Teridax. We have recreated the scene with these non-paid interns cosplaying as those who were involved. Karzahni’s mind shredding re-enactment “Karzahni”: I know about you Makuta and now I’m going to instill fear into you. *makes noises, puts hands on box head meant to represent Kanohi Olisi* “Teridax/Maxilos”: You made a big mistake Karzahni. I don’t have nightmares. I give them instead. So take this for your trouble! *he makes noises, holds out his broom and aims it at “Karzahni,” who falls over and starts yells in pain.* End of recreation Hydraxon: It was from there, Lesovikk himself wanted to take matters into his own hands as the tyrant made a hasty escape and tried to show him some pretty pictures with his kanohi mask power. From there, he was taken in by Botar and put into a mental institution. We managed to get a hold of some file footage straight from the Order as documentation of Karzahni’s progress on his mental health. Sessions did not go so well. A warning to some of our more sensitive viewers. Session #1 Therapist: Why do you feel the need to run from conflict? Karzahni: I never run away! I always stand and fight! Therapist: And yet you quit everything else you’ve ever done. You know, you’re only a failure if you never try. [awkward pause] Karzahni: Retreat! Session #7 *Karzahni is wrapped in a straight jacket* Karzahni: The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round. Session #15 Karzahni, still wrapped up: Have the lambs started, Clarisse? Session #22 *Karzahni is locked up in a dark room* Karzahni: Fergalicious definition make them boys go loco… Session #28 Karzahni: Where’s my rubber ducky?! Session #32 *Karzahni is standing on his head* Karzahni: Who turned the world upside down?! I can’t take it anymore! Session #38 Karzahni: Is that you, Carly Rae Jepsen? End of footage Hydraxon: It was because of this lack of progress, Karzahni was deemed a lost cause and later sent to the Pit to live out the rest of his imprisonment. Turaga Vakama, wise elderly type figure Vakama: He wasn’t really good at rebuilding Matoran, either. The other Turaga and I had to fix the ones he had in his realm after they were relocated. One more thing. Makuta actually named a plant after him, which tried to attack me. One more thing. He was meant to be a tale everyone said just to frighten one another. I never thought he actually existed. Tahu Tahu: His injuries are fake. Gali Gali: How do you explain that? Hydraxon: Somewhere out there, the murderer is still at large and is evading capture. Some believe he has gone south, changed his name to Vesolikk, and tried to create a new life for himself. He is seven feet tall with orange eyes, and was last seen wearing a Kanohi Faxon and green armor. If you or anyone has seen him or have any information, please call us. Coming up next… a glowing red object in the sky known as the “Red Star.” What secrets are linked with it? Later on, we take a look at a closer encounter with the Zyglak kind.
  9. The Journal: Memoirs of the Dead Entry By: Click Word Count: 2,742(not including dividers) Protagonist: Reysa Reysa stared at the softly rippling airweed, appreciating its strange shape and pocketed surface filled with what some members of Mahri Nui called “Clear Gold,” or air bubbles. Then, a green Hydruka bumped it with its sharp tusks, catching the bubbles for the harvest. To any other Matoran, the pace of the Hydruka would seem painfully slow, but Reysa had worked with them for a few months, and had grown accustomed to their sluggishness. After all, if he forced them along any faster, they might stop altogether, and he couldn’t imagine many other Matoran in Mahri Nui would be happy about that. He had already learned from experience during his time underwater, which was no place for an Onu-Matoran. He always was envious of his memories of being on the surface, as foggy as they seemed. In fact, all he could remember was the faint sense he was on the surface at one point, but he didn’t know where, or when. Mahri Nui had sunk into the deeps, and only the release of these bubbles from the airweed had saved what few Matoran still remain. The Hydruka came to harvest the air for the Matoran, being their only lifeline in this hostile world, and it could only be harvested for one hour of “safety,” which seemed like a crazy notion when it was introduced, but surprisingly held true for all the time Reysa had been out here. So, to pass the time, Reysa pulled out a set of tablets. No one else knew about these, as he found them in the wreckage of his previous hut right after Mahri Nui sank. In the pandemonium that followed the sinking of rebuilding, burying, and trying to survive, he had forgotten all about them, but now, with an entire hour to himself, and little to do, he had some time to read them. Among their chipped edges and sometimes fractured corners, he could make out it was a journal of his own memories before coming to Mahri Nui. It started in a small, lonely village of a hundred or so Matoran and their Turaga all trying to survive. Earlier in his shifts as a guard, Reysa had read up to the part where the cave he was mining Protodermis in suddenly collapsed due to a huge, subterranean Rahi seeking food. He was able to be rescued, but the cave-in resulted in his right side being twisted beyond repair, and with such a small island with barely enough to get by, there simply wasn’t enough materials to rebuild him. The Turaga knew their only choice was to send him to Karzahni, the brother of Artahka, to be rebuilt. This next entry started with his journey there. ----------------------------------------------------------------- Today is the day I travel to Karzahni. These weeks of struggling around without the use of half of my body has been difficult, but a fellow Onu-Matoran, Gar, has been helping me along. He will also be accompanying me to our village's boat, and then along the long journey to Karzahni. I hear that he is the brother of Artahka, the Great Creator, and I assume he must be as good at his job. The journey should only take a few weeks by boat, and I can't imagine anything would happen during that time. We're heading out now, and I doubt I'll have time to write any further until I arrive. ------------------------------------------------------------------ I arrived in Karzahni perfectly safe, and the sailing was as uneventful as planned. I walked into a huge dome along a narrow, barren peninsula, and through a gate with a barely visible field across it. Karzahni itself is rather strange, but I suppose I won't be here for very long. It will take me a while to get used to the soft wails that come from underground with every step. I thought I stepped on a small Rahi when I first got off the boat! While waiting for Karzahni, I was also introduced to another interesting part of the island, when a tiny creature someone called a “Dust Darter” suddenly decided my ruined armor would make a nice snack. With a large amount of jumping and swatting, I drove the creatures away with more agility than I would have thought in my condition. Finally, my turn to be repaired arrived, and I carefully walked up to the door, leaning heavily on Gar. Another Matoran who was so rusted and discolored that I couldn’t tell what element he was from helped me into the operation room while my friend waited outside. To be honest, Karzahni was not the imposing figure that I always pictured. His dark red and light blue armor was horribly mismatched, and his Mask of Alternate Futures was just as jumbled, it’s spiky and seemingly random patch up looked about as unbalanced as his sanity. Various Matoran pieces littered the room, some twisted beyond repair, others from much larger or smaller beings, and every piece a completely different design and color. Obviously, not the grand genius that I had heard he was. I was strapped to a table by the Matoran who helped me in, and the “mastermind” asked “So, what seems to be the problem?”I stared incredulously. I thought he was joking, but his bad attempt at looking sincere made me realize he had actually meant it. I explained my accident as best as I could, and he suddenly seemed to notice the twisted and flattened metal down my right side. The ruined pieces were carefully taken off, and Karzahni attempted a casual conversation as he rebuilt it. The straps prevented me from looking down at his progress, but I could slowly feel my body coming back together. Something felt a little bit off, but I attributed that to the new armor pieces he was placing on me. The operation was going on as planned, with little Matoran servants helping to find the right pieces, but suddenly he started on my other side. “Um, excuse me, Great Mechanic, but I only had some damage on the right side.” He simply nodded his spiked head like he heard me giving great praises, and continued to disassemble my left leg. Finally, I gave up struggling, and Karzahni made a few finishing touches on my other arm, and undid the straps. A mirror was handed up by one of his servants, and I saw what he had done. My legs were short and squat, random pieces of armor attached all over the place and one arm reached almost to their wide toes, while the other was just about normal size. Nothing matched at all, and the armor plates didn’t even seem to fit my size. I looked up into Karzahni’s lopsided grin, which almost forced me to agree with his optimistic comments. I suddenly blurted out “It looks awful! What have you done to me?” His grin quickly vanished, and a huge scowl appeared across his mask. “Awful? Do you know what awful is? I can show you awful, you ungrateful little fireflyer! The last thing I saw before everything suddenly disappeared was Karzahni’s Olisi begin to glow, and I had the sensation of falling until I hit the table with a thud. Through blurry eyes, I looked down at myself, not even recognizable as a Matoran anymore. I tried to blurt out my objection, but all that came out was a hoarse grunt. Karzahni smiled his crooked smile again, looking like my appearance was a great achievement, getting bigger all the time until it appeared to be the grin of a mad villain who just completed his next super weapon. I threw my ungainly new body at him, but his maniacal laugh swallowed me up, and I suddenly fell onto the table again, this time bouncing off and into a pile of scrap metal. Karzahni’s mask was slowly dimming, but his grin was still in place, just as insane as in the illusion. “You…you monster!” I tried to form a coherent sentence in my state of shock. “Just look…I mean you…I thought you…” Finally, I just collapsed into the junk heap, too exhausted and surprised to say anything more. “That’s right, little Matoran, just lie down. Take it all in how you look now, because you’re stuck like that for the rest of your life, which, since I can’t have you going and ruining my little business here, will be spent happily in the Southern Continent. How’s that for monstrosity?” By that time, I was too stunned to even do anything as his rusted servants carried me out. As soon as I could think again, my first thoughts were for my cautious friend Gar. Did he escape Karzahni? Will he miss me? What will my village think? ----------------------------------------------------------------- I soon found out about him. I was sent off to the northern shore of the Southern Continent with little supplies, a small charged weapon, and a whole new, freakish appearance. In my wanderings for food, I came across a small village of other “repaired” Matoran, who had established a firm settlement and a good system of supplying their daily needs. I was welcomed in with open, while often misshaped, arms, and quickly found my place in the village. A few days later, another Onu-Matoran arrived on the shore. His long legs and arms confused me for a moment, but when I took a closer look, I recognized him as my old friend Gar. Karzahni had captured him to keep him silent, and “repaired” him while he was there, then quickly sent him off to the Southern Continent. I felt horribly guilty about him being trapped here with me, neither of us being able to see our friends ever again, and it was my fault for falling for that ruse. Gar seemed to take it pretty well though, but I could tell he was upset with not seeing through this earlier, with his cautious nature. In fact, I was surprised as well, as Gar was always the first one to question the decisions of our Turaga back home. Life was simple on the Southern Continent. We would each work to gather food, defend against the usual predators and other dangers, and then relax in our little spare time. I got back to digging a little bit with my new weapons, and my longer arms and shorter body helped in at least that regard. I found spare protodermis for the village, and mined whatever stone we needed, with Gar and a few other Onu-Matoran working alongside. I could actually begin to like it here. --------------------------------------------------------------- All of the peace of our village changed one day, when a rogue Doom Viper broke through our defenses, spewing toxic breath all around. No defenders could even get near it, especially with the six colorful heads watching in all directions and breathing whenever something came near. Many of our number died before we even realized what was happening. Gar and I had been in the mine when it broke through, and we came up to discover that our little village was now destroyed, and many inhabitants lay dead. Gar, being as cautious as he was, held me back from quickly avenging their deaths. “You are too impulsive. Stay back for a while, and we might discover a weakness.” I knew he was right, but I had to fight hard not to charge straight in while my closest friends suffocated in the fumes. So, I did the only thing that I could, and just watched, and waited, which for me, was extremely difficult. Some of my enemies in the village said that was precisely why I was caught in the cave-in that brought us into this mess. I would charge straight into a cave without checking to see if it was stable or if it was clear of Rahi nests, both of which contributed to my injury. The Doom Viper was thrashing around, whipping heads all over the place and destroying all of our hard work. Gradually, I noticed that the tail was stuck in a crack in one of the huts, and it was trying to escape. I looked at Gar to tell him this, but he obviously already noticed, and just nodded to me. I could tell he was formulating a plan right then, and hopefully it would get us out of here alive. All he told me was “Go right now and get to the tail!" I ran as fast as I could, with Gar outdistancing me with his much longer legs. The viper was too busy smashing a food storage hut to notice the two Onu-Matoran charging it. On my way there, I quickly reached into my ruined hut and grabbed my digging weapons, and Gar grabbed his as well. I reached the tail soon after he did, and braced myself to fire on it. “Stop!” Gar shouted. “You can’t attack it yet; use that only as a last resort! Your tools would simply free the tail.” He had a point, I had to admit. He was just about to tell me the real plan when the Doom Viper turned on us. The tall Matoran suddenly closed his mouth and bolted, poisonous gas following close behind. I did the wise thing and ran the other way, half of the heads following my progress as well. It could only chase one of us though, and I suppose it judged Gar the greater threat, and it gave pursuit… until its tail snagged on the broken hut again. Gar sighed in relief, and ran back to me, keeping his back turned to the viper. Unfortunately, his one lapse in caution had drastic consequences. The viper reached out a head, slowly entwining it around Gar’s huge legs, tripping him. Instantly, all six heads were on him, gas leaking out of their fanged maws. Gar managed to back away just enough for the gas to pass beneath him, but he was running out of time. I had to act fast, so I ran to the tail. A quick pulse of my weapon shattered the stone encasing it, but did little to the armored Rahi except to draw its attention, and that was enough. All six foul heads turned to me, striking at air as they charged me. I just ran to the only place I could think of, the old mine. Its narrow tunnels kept at least some of the heads away from me, and the viper moving slower than I could run. I finally reached a particular tunnel that the Matoran had abandoned long ago because of its risk of caving in. I felt it was my only choice, and as soon as those heads rounded the corner, I quickly jumped over them, swinging with my long arms to gain that extra few bio to get to the other side, firing my weapons in mid-air. The tunnel roared as it collapsed, along with the Doom Viper’s hissing, and then all was silent. I managed to limp my way back to the opening to find Gar, with a cracked leg joint, limping towards me, smiling the whole way. I couldn’t help but smile too, but then he collapsed. The fractured leg was giving him much pain, and there was little I could do for it now, so I decided to repay the long-awaited debt of carrying him back to the village. He continued to smile through his pain the whole way. Everything seemed to be just perfect. ------------------------------------------------------------- Reysa finally set down the tablets to observe the Hydruka harvest, laughing at that last line. Since his city had sunk, nothing was perfect, and so much had happened since the ending of that entry. By now, a few of the Hydruka were leaving towards Mahri Nui, their special bowl-shaped under armor holding huge bubbles of air like liquid mercury, but the rest were still working. Reysa also noticed that it was much darker now in the low light that filtered from the surface, much later than he would usually leave. He stood up to get the Hydruka moving, hurrying them along when a noise stopped him. It was probably just a tool some foolish Matoran left out getting pushed by a current. Still, at the edge of the airfield, there wasn't any sign of a tool. Reysa's eyes suddenly opened wide as a tentacle wrapped around his waist, dragging him into the depths. The only sign he had been there was his journal, now a memoir of the dead.
  10. This guy was the product of my collective attempts for different build structures. In the end, I pictured him being the longest living resident of Karzahni. Some aspects of the build may be used again in the future.
  11. This is the fourth installment of my 8-part short-story series. I am particularly excited to post this one, since I spent a lot more time on it than the previous three. So here, it is, Web of Karzahni! Web of Karzahni The wearer of the Olisi, the mighty Karzahni, stared around in horror. Dozens, no hundreds of Matoran were surrounding him. His Matoran; the ones he had made into his slaves. He turned his head back and forth, once again trying to raise his hand to strike them down, but to no avail. For some strange reason, his feet were riveted to the ground, and his hands were stuck to his sides, as if held there by glue. And the screaming, all around him, he heard shouts of pain, of anger, and of vengeance. There was one scream though, that towered over all the others, an earsplitting screech, one of distress and terror.Karzahni scanned the crowds of Matoran, searching for the source of this scream. After a while though, he realized that the scream was not coming from any of the Matoran, it was coming from him.Karzahni looked around as the Matoran converged on him, piling up over his body, beating him with their fists, and tearing his armored plates off. He screamed even louder as he was ravaged by them, why couldn’t he move?!One of the Matoran, one of stone, came into view, in his hand he held a hammer, and on his face he wore a Kanohi Komau. Karzahni stared at the Matoran, he recognized him from somewhere, and for some reason he was even more horrified by the Matoran’s presence. His eyes widened, and he let out one last scream that echoed around as the Matoran raised his tool, and brought it down on Karzahni’s heartlight… … Karzahni’s eyes snapped open. He looked around; he was sitting on his throne in his own realm. He tested his left arm, then the right; yes, he could move them both freely. Everything seemed normal once more, all except one thing; he was still screaming.Karzahni looked down at the ground, and immediately understood why any being would be screaming now. A Po-Matoran, who wore a Komau on his face sat at Karzahni’s feet, his eyes still closed. After a moment, the Matoran looked up and opened his eyes. Karzahni managed to say through his screams, “What … are … you?!”The Matoran replied, “You cannot explain sight to one who is blind.”Karzahni threw out a hand, sending the Matoran hurtling across the room. He pointed at the Matoran of stone and screeched, “Get him out! I never want to see him again!”Two Matoran clad in dull gray armor that may have once matched the colors of their elements grabbed the Po-Matoran and dragged him away, though the servant of stone put up no resistance.Karzahni watched him go, his screams finally dying down in his throat, whether this was because the Matoran was gone, or because he was growing hoarse he did not know.As the three Matoran disappeared from his line of sight, Karzahni remembered back to when this Matoran had first arrived. His name was Velika; he had come from a land he would not reveal, though his homeland was of no interest to Karzahni, so he hadn’t bothered to force the information out of him.The Matoran’s friends had sent him here because they believed him to be insane. Karzahni dismissed this notion almost immediately, and had attributed Velika’s problems to laziness. But whenever Velika had been told to work, he had replied with strange riddles, and showed no signs of complying. Karzahni had punished him physically, but when it showed no signs of changing the stubborn Po-Matoran, Karzahni had been forced to use a different approach. He had ordered Velika to be brought to him, and commanded him directly to work, giving the Matoran one last chance to comply, but the Matoran had simply said, “You cannot teach a Gukko to fly by striking it.”Karzahni had activated his mask power, but then something had changed. Karzahni’s Mask of Alternate Futures was supposed to create an alternate reality within a dream that Karzahni chose based off the target’s past, but instead, Karzahni himself had ended up within his own alternate reality, with Matoran surrounding him. That wasn’t supposed to happen. Velika was supposed to be the one experiencing the nightmares, not him. Karzahni shuddered, and tried to push the thoughts out of his head, but he would never truly be the same… … Velika hit the ground and slid several bios across the dusty ground. He glanced back behind him at the two Matoran who had thrown him. It made him so sad, thinking of how helpless and defeated they must feel.He turned and looked at what lay in front of him: a tunnel, with a worn out and barely visible inscription written at its entrance. Even if the words had been clear, nobody would have been able to read it; nobody, except Velika, for it had been he who had etched the letters into the stone so long ago. He walked up to the inscription, and fury built up inside him, for the inscription read, “The path of hope.”Velika walked into the tunnel, following its straight and narrow path, reflecting on the incident he had had with Karzahni as he went.Inside this body, Velika still possessed the ability to negate mask powers, and even had the ability to use them against a target if he concentrated enough. But alas, that was all he was capable of.Being inside a Matoran body had its limits, but when the time was right, Karzahni would pay for what he had done. Velika hated to kill one of his own creations, but the tyrant would be too much of a danger to the plan if he wasn’t disposed of at some point. He considered Artakha, Karzahni’s ‘brother,’ though he had not had a chance yet to see him in his new form, Velika figured that he too would be a problem, and would have to be removed as well.Velika turned his mind from his plans for correction, and decided to think about what had gone well. He had managed to leave the land of Karzahni without being forced to hurt any Matoran or the Manas that guarded the entrances, and was now on his way to the island of Voya Nui, an island that would become a very important ground in the future. This was not by accident either; it was because the island housed one of the most powerful objects in the universe, The Kanohi Ignika, the Mask of Life. It would be Velika’s mission, if possible, to protect the mask from those would wish to use it for evil, and guide the rightful heir to the mask.Velika smiled a little as he thought of the herald, a Ko-Matoran named Matoro. Unlike any other being in the universe, Matoro’s mind was designed and based off of a Great Being, one named Angonce. Matoro would, if the plan succeeded, bring the mask to the core of the universe and enter the Codrex. There he would reawaken Mata Nui. Velika stared ahead, pushing all these thoughts away, and focusing on the long journey that lay before him…
  12. The Chronicles of Karzahni book one: Duel of Destiny Karzahni stood on a hill, observing his vast realm. He shook with anger with the memory of the events of the day before. He and his brother, Artakha, had been informed by the Great Being Angonce that they were to do battle over a Kanohi mask of great power. He had been shocked, as had Artakha, that the Great Beings would ever ask that they fight, but the mask was apparently a prize worth combat, and the winner would receive it. So he and Artakha had readied themselves for battle, both prepared to prove that they were the better of the two, and to achieve the coveted Mask of Creation. The battle was ferocious, with both himself and his brother hesitant at first, then going at each other with all they had. Karzahni himself had been the one to strike first, though not physically, he had activated his mask power, and given Artakha a vision of losing the battle, with Karzahni as the victor, and Artakha left behind in shame. After the vision had reached the point where the Matoran respected and trusted Karzahni and despised Artakha, however, Karzahni wasn’t sure what would come next, and the vision became less and less believable. It wasn’t long after that before Artakha realized the illusion, and returned his mind to reality. Then, the fight was on. Karzahni began swinging his flaming chains, while Artakha charged, swinging with his blunt, yet powerful and threatening warhammer. Karzahni at first managed to dodge a few of Artakha’s swings, managing to strike Artakha with his chains when he had the opportunity, but Artakha had become tired of this, and now began swinging with deadly accuracy. Karzahni knew that he could not match his brother in physical strength, so he tried even more desperately to evade Artakha’s attacks, and weaken him by slashing him with his chains. Karzahni’s desperate tactics were unsuccessful, however, and Artakha quickly closed the gap between them, finally landing a hard blow on Karzahni’s leg as Karzahni tried to dodge. This was the beginning of the end of the fight. Karzahni spun around and put up a furious resistance, but it was over, Artakha struck again and again, with Karzahni on the ground, trying to roll out of the way, and failing. Karzahni had taken some serious damage, but wasn’t ready to give up that mask yet, he kicked Artakha’s legs out from beneath him and slashed Artakha’s face with his chain while returning to his feet. Karzahni began furiously hacking at his brother with his chains, the fight was personal now, it was no longer just about the mask, it was about him, and Artakha, Karzahni wasn’t going to let Artakha leave when he surrendered, he was going to kill him. Artakha saw the look of madness filling Karzahni’s eyes as Karzahni relentlessly struck again and again with his chains. Artakha knew that Karzahni was angry, furious, and he knew that he had to save himself, he wondered if he would be able to beat Karzahni when he was like this. Artakha also worried that, in order to win, he might have to kill Karzahni. Karzahni was blindly slashing and hacking now, roaring insanely. Artakha wasn’t sure what had driven him to such an uncontrollable state of rage, but now that this was happening, he needed to fight back. Karzahni, on the other hand, wasn’t thinking about any of this, he was just thinking about how Artakha had been privileged with creative talent and abilities, while he was gifted with nothing. He was thinking about how Artakha was stronger than he, and surely the Great Beings must have known this. They had wanted Artakha to win, he was sure. Now, Artakha had gotten him onto the ground, rolling around in the dirt, trying to dodge his hammer, he wouldn’t stand for it! With these thoughts of anger, hatred and fury swirling around in his mind, Karzahni ripped and tore at Artakha with his claws and chains, reaching out with the power of his mask to terrorize Artakha with the most nightmarish vision his mind would allow, and his mind would allow for some pretty freaky things. Artakha fought back, resisting the vision and using his advantage of strength to force Karzahni back, so that Artakha would have room to return to his feet. Karzahni began screaming with rage, at this, and increased his attack with his chains, and with his mind. Karzahni’s mental attack, now, was so strong that for Artakha it was entwined with reality, making it difficult to focus, to understand what was going on, and to fight. Artakha took a desperate swipe with his hammer, and the hammer impacted Karzahni’s torso, sending him flying a few feet back. Artakha returned to his feet just in time to be able to defend against Karzahni’s attack, as Karzahni charged forward once again, claws slashing, chains flailing. Artakha deflected his attack, then kicked him back, as Karzahni came charging once again, Artakha performed one of his most devastating maneuvers, he did a full 360 degree spin for momentum, and brought his hammer up as he reached the point where he was facing Karzahni once more. The hammer connected with Karzahni’s jaw in one of the most powerful uppercuts ever to be performed in the Matoran universe. Karzahni was sent flying upward and a few feet back. Karzahni landed with a thud in the dirt, and before he could stand, Artakha ran forward and performed another move, similar to the one he had just used, but this time, he brought the hammer down on Karzahni versus bringing it up toward his chin. Karzahni crashed to the ground, struck by Artakha’s hammer, just as he was beginning to stand. Karzahni, managed to move into a sitting position, his rage now entwined with fear, and Artakha struck him in the chest with the hammer, sending him flying. Karzahni scooted himself back, trying to escape his brother’s hammer. Karzahni was now shouting at Artakha, “Stop! No! Aaaggg-ugh. I surrender, I surrender!” Artakha stopped, hammer held over his head in preparation for another strike. Angonce walked over from where he had been watching a couple hundred feet away. He held out the Mask of Creation to Artakha, and announced, “You are the victor, and have fairly won the Mask of Creation and the right to wear it. Take it, and use it wisely.” Artakha held out his hand and received the Kanohi. Angonce then turned to Karzahni and spoke, “You have lost, you may now honorably return to you realm.” With that, Angonce walked away, and that was the last of him Karzahni ever saw. Karzahni had returned to his realm, and that’s where he stood now. He sighed, he knew it was pointless to constantly remember things of the past that brought only hatred and anger to his mind, but still, he thought, someday, I will have my revenge, and my brother shall pay. Karzahni turned away, and began stepping down the hill, the time for his revenge was not yet, and he knew that it may be a long time before he could have his vengeance, and in the meantime, he had made his realm a place for Matoran to come to be repaired, so repair them he would, and he would do so to the best of his ability for the thousands of years to come until he could have his revenge.________________________________________________________________________________Comments, critisizm, and such all greatly appreciated.Review topic

  14. What ever happened to the "fixed" matoran on Karzahni? Did they escape on Spherus Magna like the rest of the matoran? Did they get re-fixed to look normal with normal masks? Or is there no evidence to what happened to them.
  15. There are two sides to every fight. The winning side, and the losing side. After a fateful clash of the titans for the control of Creation itself, two beings draw the conflict to a close once and for all. ₪҉₪ An anguished howl splits through the air like lightning. Curses rumble from the heart of a battle-torn titan like thunder. The great lord Karzahni lies immobilized and broken on the rugged field of battle. He is paralyzed by pain, betrayed by the weakness of his own flesh and armor. He can only watch. Watch as his prize is taken by the very being he had once considered his only friend. Even more than that, his brother. But no more. He no longer knows Arthaka. This revelation is solidified when that same traitor turns to face Karzahni. More curses are spat from Karzahni’s mouth as he almost literally does not recognize his brother. Arthaka now wears the Great Mask of Creation. Karzahni sees red. He does not know if this is his own imagining or the blood red sun setting over their barren battleground. Arthaka regards his fallen brother with something akin to pity. The last thing in the universe that Karzahni wants is pity. And least of all from Arthaka. With one last effort, a cry of absolute rage fills his lungs. Even though releasing that primal cry of fury sends agonizing lances of fiery pain through Karzahni’s very soul, it gives him some satisfaction that he has been heard. Finally, the wounds of the two-titan war catch up to Karzahni, and pull him sympathetically into oblivion. ₪҉₪ When Karzahni emerges from that merciful slumber, he is still lying on the same field. But now he can move, although not without pain. Beside him, a Great Kanohi Mask is resting. Instinctively, with a vitality almost reminiscent of the animal-like baying of his earlier defeat, Karzahni slams the mask on his face. His entire being drinks up the power seeping from the Kanohi. Karzahni revels in that power. Especially after his near fatal combat of so recently, he loves the sense of control the mask gives him. He is almost completely given to this newfound strength when he notices a stone tablet, almost the same color as the earth, that was lying beneath the mask. Groping for the tablet, Karzahni reads: If your fantasies came true Clashed with your reality Would you fall to fiction’s whims? Or be pawn to what is real? After you’ve traveled your chosen path Could you harvest no regrets of the past? Who knows how many forks we will face? Who knows our minds, now versus then? Would a simple change cause us to look Back on our lives with one different wish? Kanohi Olisi ₪҉₪
  16. DEEP SHADOWSA cold breeze blew onto the cliffs of Odina. A Dark Hunter, Devastator, was overlooking the sea from them. Just a few minutes ago a fleet of Dark Hunter ships had sailed away to battle the Brotherhood of Makuta forces. Since the leader of the Makuta, Teridax, had dared to kill two Dark Hunters, they were in war. The Brotherhood was strong, but Devastator was confident that they would win. He then walked to the fortress’ main entrance. Just as he walked in, a green figure materialized at his side. It was Zaktan, a Skakdi who had rebelled against the Shadowed One some time ago. Though Devastator considered himself a being of extreme power, the presence of Zaktan, who had survived the Shadowed One’s wrath, always disturbed him.“The Shadowed One wants to see you.”Then Zaktan’s protodites formed a green cloud, and flew somewhere else in the island. He continued his walk, and came through many corridors. Zaktan had told the truth, as the Shadowed One had made the passages shift so Devastator just had to walk forward to find the throne room. However, the center of the fortress was still far from his position. He walked past many storage rooms, and saw Savage going mad in his containment cell. Finally, he arrived at his destination. Devastator bowed, and then stood up from the ground. As usual, the Recorder was prepared to write down on a tablet everything that the Shadowed One said, and Darkness stood behind the leader watching over him.“Devastator, do you come from Karzahni, right?”“Yes, my lord.”“I’ve heard rumors that a Matoran who had a scroll with our battle plans for the war against the Makuta has wandered into your homeland.”“I’ll kill that Matoran gladly, if that is what you wish.”“No, Devastator, it won’t be necessary. The Matoran is already dead, but we have heard that another Matoran of Karzahni, who I like to call ‘Builder’, has found those plans. Your mission is to go to Karzahni, find the plans, and destroy them.”“I understood, sir.”“Alright then, you are going there alone; you have the weapons you will need in the boat that you will use.”“I am going alone?”“Yes. We don’t want Karzahni to turn his attention to the world outside his island. You are going alone, because if Karzahni discovers you, he will think that you have just been hiding all this years. Do you have any objections?”“No sir.”And with that, he went out of the throne room.***A Matoran of Lightning watched as a storm raged in the sea in front of the coast of Karzahni. She had seen an abandoned boat in the beach were she was. Though it had been a long time since she arrived to Karzahni, she had been one of the last Matoran to arrive there, and she hadn’t lost completely her personality. Many Matoran, specially the ones that had been there way more time than her, were just workers covered in dust, with nothing that could identify them from the others except for that each had a different Kanohi and armor color. She didn’t want to end up like them. The boat was her chance of escaping, and she would not hesitate in using it. She climbed on the boat, and saw that it was made of high quality protodermis. Whoever had abandoned it had a high status. The boat was also full of weapons and other strange artifacts. And the strangest of all, there was some sand on the floor of the boat. She though that it had arrived there brought by the winds of the storm, and then she walked away to the rudder. However, when she turned, she saw the sand in the floor of the boat shifting, and forming a tall, armored figure. And that figure smashed its fist on her Kanohi, and she fell to the shallow waters, as her vision blacked out…***Devastator got out of his ship. He didn’t have any qualms when the situation demanded killing Matoran. He had also been a slave in Karzahni, and he didn’t have any compassion with them. The landscape hadn’t changed a bit since he was recruited into the Dark Hunters and he abandoned that island. The skies rained fire. Grey clouds filled the sky, and lightning bolts fell all day, though the thunder made no sound. He had to find Builder, an insane Matoran that was working somewhere in the island. After some time walking, he came by a group of poorly build huts. He smashed the door of one, and found Builder inside. He had been lucky.“What do y-you want?”“Where is the scroll?”“W-what scroll?”“You won’t fool me. Show me that scroll or I’ll tear your only good leg apart!”“O-ok. I remember now. It’s hi-hidden in a canyon no-north west of here.”“You are coming with me.”The pair walked for a long while, until they arrived at the canyon. While a heavy fog covered the zone, the heat was suffocating. The trip through the canyon was long and silent. After half an hour, they reached what seemed the wall that ended the canyon.“Are you sure that there is a scroll here?”When Devastator turned, there was nobody in sight. The Matoran had tricked him. He began to run in the direction in which he had come, but he was stopped by a claw. The fog cleared, and Devastator then saw his situation. He was cornered in the dead end of the canyon by a group of Manas.Devastator used his mental powers to throw one of the Manas away. The other ones noticed this, and in a moment he found himself attacked by the whole group of Manas at the same time. Devastator turned to sand, and escaped the lethal sting of their claws. Using his telekinetic powers once more, he began to throw rocks from the canyon’s walls. He expected to have finished them all, but out of the rocks every one of them rose. However, the Manas didn’t advance any further. They slowly retreated to the walls of the canyon, and then he heard the sound of a massive body advancing through the canyon. The grunt of the beast echoed, and finally it went out of the fog. Devastator was impressed by the sight. There, in front of him, stood the dreaded Mana-Ko. He had only heard about it in legends, and legends told that it was one of the most fearful creations of the Makuta. The Mana-Ko had strong, muscular arms, a solid body and powerful claws. Devastator mentally threw two Manas at the Mana-Ko, but a disintegration blast from the beast ended with them. Nothing could deter the Mana-Ko’s advance. It shoot its disintegration power again, and the rock wall of the canyon fell onto the Dark Hunter. Devastator, pinned at the ground by the rocks, could do nothing as the Mana-Ko adavanced on him, and he lost consciousness.***Devastator slowly awoke, and saw that he was no more in the canyon. The Manas and the Mana-Ko were gone. He violently shook in his chains in a desperate attempt to free himself. He still didn’t remember how he was captured. It didn’t matter, as now he was chained to a wall and in front of him was his enemy, former ruler and the tormenter in his nightmares. There, clad in a purple and green armor, was Karzahni, the insane tyrant of the island. He hadn’t changed since the last time he had seen him. His mask still looked like four Kanohi patched together, he still had his chain weapons, but worst of all, Karzahni still was as insane as always, if not more. He was chained to a wall of the Hall of Satues, one of Karzahni’s favorite places in his realm. It was a hallway leading to his fortress, and at the sides of the road there were petrified Matoran, their faces still with the same horror expression as the day that they had been turned to stone.“Don’t try to escape, my dear…”“Don’t even dare to say my name. I left that identity long ago, forgotten in the fog of the past. Now I am Devastator, one of the most powerful beings in the universe, and your death sentence.”“Well. Then, Devastator, do you know why are you here?”“You want to take revenge on me because I’ve been hiding out all this years.”“I guess that your mental powers are more developed then your ability to lie. I, my realm and my Matoran slaves have been sealed of the outside world for thousands of years, but I’m not stupid. I’ve been all my life here, but I know that there is a world, an entire world, outside the barriers that limit my land. I haven’t known anything about that universe since the turaga stopped sending me their Matoran. And you haven’t been hiding out, Devastator. You have contacted with the outsider beings, you have lived in the outside world. A world I swear to conquer.”“And where do I enter in your plans?”“Haven’t you yet understood? If I attack this universe now, I’ll be quickly defeated by an invisible opponent.”“I don’t think an opponent like that exists.”“It does, and it’s called ignorance. I have no knowledge of anything outside Karzahni except for what some slaves had told me and for my experience with my brother, Artakha. To invade the universe I need to know what their forces are, their leaders, their weakness… and the best way to strike them.”Devastator tried to pull himself out of the chains, but to no result. Those chains were as strong as Makuta armor. He should delay Karzahni until he had weakened the chains enough.“You could have interrogated any of your Matoran slaves.”“It wouldn’t be of much use. The Matoran fear me, and their mind has been twisted after being imprisoned so many years in this land. That’s why I needed someone who had recently been in the outside world, someone who had been involved in an organization. That’s why I brought you here.”“You didn’t. I came here because someone else ordered me to do so.”“I did. And it wasn’t easy. First, I had to convince one of my Matoran to carry out a dangerous mission. He had to go to the outside world, and spread word that a Matoran in my realm had a scroll with the battle plans of your organization. Of course, that scroll has never existed. I knew that after doing his job the Matoran wouldn’t return here, so I promised him freedom, and before he left I poisoned him. He should be dead by now. After that, it was sure that your leader, who has eyes and ears spread everywhere in the universe, would soon notice this rumor. And, assuming that you hadn’t got killed before, I was sure that the leader would choose you to come here and destroy the scroll. After all, who could do better a mission regarding Karzahni than someone who was originated from it? Before you arrived, I also had to prepare my Matoran. I told them that you were returning, and that your return would mean that they would have to work as twice as hard as they use to. They quickly agreed to collaborate to eliminate you, and they were ordered to bring you to the dead end of a canyon, where the Manas could capture you. I see that one of them did a good job into this. After that I only had to bring you here, and extract all the information of you that I could get.”Before Karzahni could say anything else, Devastator pulled the strength of his muscles to the extreme, and fell on the ground. His hands were still tied by the chains, and he was dragging a portion of the wall with him.“That is how you pretend to fight me? Bringing down walls?”Devastator didn’t think about his actions twice. With much effort, he rose from the ground, and smashed the portion of the wall at Karzahni’s Kanohi. The tyrant of the realm hadn’t expected the attack, and flew towards a statue, breaking it to pieces. Devastator used his telekinetic powers to destroy his chains. A dust cloud had risen, and Devastator stood silent in his position. He started to walk away, but suddenly a chain flew through the air, and gripped Devastator’s neck. He desperately tried to break the chain with his hands, but then it began to burn. He had to pull his hands apart from the chain, but the chain was still burning and he couldn’t get it off of his neck. Finally, the chain dropped, and Devastator fell to the floor, screaming in agony.“You’ve dared to confront me. You’ve dared to break my law. You’ve dared to attack me. You are going to have a slow and painful death.”The dust cloud finally cleared, and Devastator could see Karzahni with a maniacal grin staring at him. He turned his body into sand, and concealed himself with the dust of the ground. Karzahni quickly trampled the ground in front of him, but then he felt a fist smashing in his back. Karzahni turned, and saw Devastator, whose rage seemed to spark from his red eyes.Karzahni raised his chain again, but Devastator flung the titan with his telekinetic powers to a nearby wall. He then ran to Karzahni, and punched the tyrant in the face. The wall that Devastator had smashed was from a factory, and the Matoran, upon seeing the battle, ran away. Devastator continued punching Karzahni, but then he reached his flaming chains and slashed them at Devastator’s back. Devastator grunted, and using the distraction, Karzahni threw him away. He fell onto the roof of a storage room, and Devastator’s weight combined with the force of the impact brought it down. Devastator got to his feet, and when he tried to smash the door, he had to pull his hand off in a moment, as the metal was burning. Karzahni was using his chain once more. However, he transmuted himself again into sand, and got out of the storage room through the hole at the roof. He rematerialized himself again once he was at the floor, and threw himself to Karzahni. The insane ruler repelled the attack by punching Devastator in the face, and the Dark Hunter fell on the floor.“Here we are again. No matter what you do, no matter what you try. You are doomed, Devastator.” “You’ve won this time, Karzahni, and you’ve failed at the same time. You have defeated me, but you haven’t accomplished your goal. I won’t tell you anything.”Karzahni threw his flaming chains at Devastator, only for him to transmute to sand again and fly away. He tried to grab the dust cloud with the chain, but Devastator escaped.***Now in his boat, Devastator sailed away. He had been defeated, but he had accomplished his mission. Though he was already far from the nightmare island, he still had his mind there. One day, he would return, and take revenge on Karzahni. But that were future plans. For now, he had to fight against the Brotherhood of Makuta. The war between them and the Dark Hunters was still raging, and at the moment it was more important than the ancient ruler of a forgotten island.***A twisted Matoran was working on something important. It was told that on every island of the universe, six toa canisters had to be built to remember the legend of the Toa Mata. He had already built three, and was in the process of building the fourth. He wondered if someday he would have the chance to be free. Maybe someday a group of Matoran would wander into his land, and could offer him a chance of freedom. And most important of all, if that day arrived, would he be prepared to leave? But he had no hope of that happening. After all, why would a group of Matoran wander into Karzahni, the land of the dead?***Karzahni sat in his throne. He had been planning Devastator’s arrival for a long time, and his plan had failed. The Dark Hunter had escaped before he could have extracted any information from him. So he should have to wait, until someone fool enough dared to step foot on his realm… and when that day arrived, he would make sure to acquire all knowledge that he could, and then he would start universal conquest. And he would take revenge of the turaga that had decided to stop sending Matoran to his realm, to Artakha and his realm of light and to Devastator. But at the moment, he would have to wait, and continue his despotic rule over his island. Dark times lay ahead, but his time would arrive, and everybody would remember his name again, and they would whisper it with fear. ---By the way, I would appreciate it if anyone made a banner for this.
  17. I've been reading a bit through the recent Bionicle story and come up with a small theory on how Lesovikk's sword wound up in Karzahni's back. I've never done a detailed theory before, so please bear with me.The destiny of Lesovikk's Toa Team, probably including Lesovikk himself, was to die. Despite surviving the 100,000 years in the MU, his destiny was still to die.Lesovikk was alone in the desert when looking for Karzahni, and that would've made him easy prey for Marendar, the Toa hunter. I believe what happened next was that the murderer found Lesovikk's dead body, and used his sword to kill Karzahni, and then hid Lesovikk's corpse so no-one would find out Lesovikk was dead. By doing so, the murderer would've shifted the blame to Lesovikk, which would've allowed him to commit more murders without likely getting any blame. The fact that Lesovikk harboured such hatred for Karzahni would just have been coincidence: the murderer would likely not have known Lesovikk, and may have seen him as just another random Toa.Lesovikk is one of my favourite Toa, and I'd hate to see him die, but at the same time I realise I have no control over the story, so I'm aware that this could be likely.Feel free to shoot my rookie-theory down.
  18. Hey Guys! This is me. My name's Karzahni. Well, Karzahni JR. I was brought into this world a couple of years ago by my Father, who says I am the best son he could ever wish for! What we have both noticed over the couple of years I have been alive is how much I'm like my Dad. Here's another picture of me by the way: here. I've got a cape like him, an elongated head, broad shoulders, skinny limbs and red eyes. I also have the green armour that he has on his front, only smaller, and claws on my hands just like my Dad. For my last Birthday, my Dad gave me a piece of his chain, which I have to use to help him in his work. I'm not very good at it yet, but that will change when I get biggerer. He's told me that when I'm much bigger, the cave that we live in will be mine. He's such a nice Dad! He brings me food from the outdoors while I look after the cave, and we eat together. Recently, I heard whispers that a Toa called Lesovikk is looking for my Father. They must be good friends. My Dad would like a word with you a minute, so I'll just go and get him! "Dad!!!" "Dad!!!" "Daddy?" "Where are you?" It looks like he's not here right now, so I'll have to end it like this. I'll see you later! (out of character- Anyone guess where Karzahni is? )
