I just looked for the post where you did that but I couldn't find it. If you had taken it off of me in the post whre you say you magnetically threw it at me, you would have to have pulled it out of the ice i'm surrounded in. Anyways Makuta can't see Kayn

Kayn struggled further and the outer part of the ice that was surrounding him gave-way, letting him move. There was still a lot of shadow ice still inside his body so his movement was slightly less effective. Clutching the grave wound in his chest, he eased over to a rock and leaned against it. He could see over the top of it the people that were fighting. Looking around, Kayn saw Canis on his Dino. Perhaps his overlord could protect him. He ran around the outside of the main conflict, finding a nice rock behind Canis to lay down at.

Having been revived by Void, Pulse ran at Bloodfeast, between its legs. Aiming at its feet, Pulse attempted to shoot both, hoping that if successful, this would cause it to stumble. Also not pleased at being revived, he momentarily looked at Void disapprovingly. When I'm done with Bloodfeast... Void's next.

Am I not allowed to have a character that doesn't like Void but is fighting Canis anyway? Character Pulse and Real Pulse are different people, one of whom is fictional and does not entirely reflect the beliefs of the other Pulse. He dislikes shadow as much as he dislikes light, he likes light as much as he likes shadow, he prefers a more neutral position. But he was asked a question, of which he had to answer one thing or the other. He answered what he said to try and keep things equal.

I decide to break off my pursuit and attack Kayn. I slap him in the face.

I looked down, and saw Luroka attacking Kayn once more.

"dude. Stop. You're going to die from having a rock tap you."

He may be fighting Canis but still...you gotta feel bad for someone like that.

I glanced at Void, and shot a barrage of lasers at him, and proceeded to do my previous spazzing-randomly-around-the-ceiling maneuver once more, making sure he couldn't shoot me with anything effectively.

Makuta's slap collided with Kayn's face, making a noise similar to hitting some sort of cooking pan. It startled Kayn for a moment but he quickly regained focus and thrusted with his sword in a reversed grip, with the handle pointing at Luroka. Now Kayn was just angry, in a giving up kind of way. Luroka had the nerve to come over here and taunt Kayn.

 

The bottom of the Katana's hilt was closing in quickly on Makuta's stomach, with inches away from collision.

 

Kayn looked Makuta Luroka in the eye.

JiMing stepped out of the way as the sword hurtled past him, then turned his attention back to Flaredrick.

Oh, and I think things have been somewhat resolved with me and Vox. So there's that. Kinda took Voltex to do it, but eh, what can you do.

Chro saw Kayn locked in struggle with Luroka. He sighed. I never get anything done around here.

He spun and dashed at Kayn, shouting out loud to try to distract him. He split into two mini-Chros as he charged.

Noticing Kayn's attack, I jump back to avoid the attack. "Just wanted to reduce your health a bit, even playing field, and all."

He looked to the shadows without making it obvious, and a shadow figues resembling JiMing come out and crept behind him.

"I'm not going to fight you." He lowered his gun and began to walk away. "You'll be to busy fighting yourself." The shadow clone begin to attack him.

 

OOC: They're weaker than you and haf the health you currently have. Four can only be summoned max.

OOC: These powers coming from nowhere are ridiculous. Stop with them. Also, if they have the health I have, that's OP. Make them have like 5 health, and add some detrimental affect, like how Shadowhawk has ti use his own health to revive players.

Kayn swung his sword up and spun it a couple of times, letting the blade land in his empty hand, pointing towards Luroka, ready to strike.

 

"Even playing field? Void is destroying us! Look around you, we are basically dead men walking."

 

A familiar looking wrist blade was lying on the ground behind Luroka, lodged between two rocks, making it hard to see. Kayn didn't really need it at this point in time, he had enough trouble keeping his sword at the right angle.

 

OOC: In case you are confused as to what way Kayn is standing with his sword, it's supposed to be like this but with the blade pointing directly at Luroka.

 

Also dat possible Naruto reference by Flaredrick, OP or no.

Your character can't suddenly know things and then stab someone who is standing, ready for an attack.

If you still want Kayn to completely ignore the fact there is a sword coming at him, I do have a reason for him to survive but that was pretty low

OOC: JiMing, about your arguments as to being targeted, etc. I'd have to say it's a basic strategy here to target the minions first. It's easier to take them down faster than taking down the overlords, and furthermore taking down the minions means you decrease the damage that can be dealt to you. You ARE one of the competent fighters on the Light team, so yeah.

(Also, I'm fairly certain that, with the people here, the more complaints arise, the more bandwagoning against the complainer will happen. Just sayin'.)

 

IC - HP: 11/20 (? pls confirm if you can) - Status: Helping Luroka

 

Even as Luroka made a stab into Kayn's chest, I flanked Kayn, and made a slash to his side. I'd rather help keep Luroka alive for now, and take down Kayn quicker.

Luroka's blade shot straight past Kayn's own. Shifting his feet slightly, he put himself off angle and let the blade hit him. The sword hit the point where Kayn had been previously stabbed, filled with shadowed ice. The ice cracked as it strained against the blade running along it's surface. Kayn was sent back by the blow, but as he fell, his sword arm sprung up and sliced Luroka across the chest. Kayn used his empty hand to keep himself from falling all of the way. A blade that wasn't Luroka's passed inches above his body, revealing a second attacker. Kayn reached for his wrist blade and re attached it, also noticing that a third, no, fourth attacker was coming rapidly his way.

 

OOC: Autohit for and autohit I guess.

IC: Pulse [Health: 10/20] [status: Thinking and Reflecting]

 

Pick Light or Shadow, he said... I did not know what the consequences would have been. Had there been a null option, I would have chosen that. I prefer that which is the lack of shadow, the lack of light, and the lack of void. Null in its purest form. The Power of Null is none and all. I would therefore battle all who I deem my enemies, mostly the Dinosaur, which is anachronistic; I hate anachronisms; but not its rider, who I have no quarrel with; and Void... it is something but nothing. It should not be here. We are simply here for its amusement. Void, I am completely aware you can hear this. I choose null at heart, you cannot change that. You're not safe just because I fight one being over the other. As long as Canis is on that beast, he cannot fight with you... I'm just doing him a favour by helping slay that beast so he can battle you. That was the end of Pulse's thoughts. Was he the only fighter who felt this way? He would probably never know if others preferred a neutral standpoint. He knew it would be unwise to attack Void, but it would be better to lure him into a false sense of security, and then blam explosion in the face. Pulse's thoughts then went back to fighting Canis, as he continued his attack from earlier. He also wondered if anyone was able to conjure up a rope... a long rope... that could be tied to a crossbow bolt. A plan was forming in his head, and it involved something sneaky, something obvious, a long rope, an explosion, and two certain beings...

 

OOC: I am either planning something incredibly stupid, incredibly brave, incredibly dumb, or incredibly bad. Maybe all four. Also some more Pulse thoughts as I wait for a response from Canis about the earlier attacks.

OOC: Actually Pulse, JiMing feels similar. He doesn't like Shadow or Void, but not entirely on board with supporting Canis either. He's a lone ranger I guess.

The shadow clone quickly struck him, as he was caught slightly off guard by the development. (17/20). However, JiMing quickly threw him off with a quick pulse of chaos. "Typical. You shadow fighters always hide behind stupid mooks. And we're supposed to be the cowardly ones." JiMing quickly swung his energy saber at him as well.

 

OOC: More detail on my power

 

Power: JiMing can manipulate chaos energy for a few purposes. His primary ability allows him to fire off energy projectiles, his standard projectile being a quick bolt known as a Chaos Spear. He can also use beams, larger blasts, etc. He is also able to manifest auras or pulses for short range use, they can deflect projectiles or bolster his physical combat, often with them causing a small explosion of energy on combat, which sends foes back normally. Arguably, his power to teleport anywhere on the map is the most useful, thougnit can only be done once a round.
