The Stan team then went to work, gathering mundane items from various general goods stores, such as hair spray and potatoes, and began prepping for their mission. The sniper, the infiltrator, the spotter, and the distraction. It was a complex plan, involving a great deal of bravery, cunning, and luck. They all knew it, the sniper having spent the last few days working with his makeshift gun. While not particularly accurate, she had learned enough in the past days to get a good shot at twenty meters, The infiltrator spoke fluent Astarian, with just the right amount of slang to sound legitimate without sounding like a hipster. The spotter was carrying IR goggles and was trained in the art of stealth and concealment, while the distraction was prepped and ready to make a rather massive scene.OOCI'll post my response probably tomorrow, but in the mean time, what sort of security exactly are we talking here? So to them there is the possibility that the Astarians are just being wildly paranoid. They've done things like expel whole races from their country with very slender evidence, if any evidence at all, so on the political stage you've not exactly made yourselves look very reasonable.They'd be reluctant to do the same with the Aquilonians, if it helps, given that their response to accusations was to shout and bluster and call the Astarians names, which doesn't make them seem particularly reasonable either. The stuff is about four times as common as Uranium, much harder to use to produce weapons-grade material, and much safer. If you let us work with it, we could have Nuclear powered navies and nuclear electricity rigs, but nuclear weapons would still be ridiculously impractical. The main reason I bring this up is to allow deep, months-long missions for nuclear submarines, rather than the weeks we're stuck with on oil. Lloyd, I think you'd appreciate that. Transport would be taken care of by KoCom, and modification of all systems to fit Stan standards (connectors, electrical, etc) would be done by Flumen.OOC: I'll try to get back to the Varangia goat thing if I can actually think of something. The colonies were more focused on lumber, steel, plastics, and wine.OOC: The Plantation the Stans chose is protected by a lightly-armed internal security force, men with pistols and shotguns. There's obviously sensors of some sort, but without a man on the inside you can't really tell what sort they are.
