Four days without a new submission... I think we can pretty cleanly break the submissions into a 'first wave' and a 'second wave'... if there is a 'second wave'... :P-Shyyrn

For all you hardcore BZPRPG RPers out there:Exlaas supports CotD (and is returning in it).Do you dare face the wrath of a humongous sword-wielding, shark-transforming, fire-breathing, several metric tons of pure awesome?Or would you prefer said tons' Gentle Giant tendencies displayed to yourself in a truly heartwarming moment of genuine friendship and sentimentality?Live or die. Make your choice.

Waitaminute. Wasn't Exlaas the dude who wielded the sentient sword who Jikal temporarily wielded? Also, already supporting CotD.

Yes. Barrakhii will be returning as well (if cotd wins), though modified to fit the change that Exlaas is now a Gladiator-Class Steltian as opposed to a Srarcassus. If you're interested in learning more about Exlaas II, then I suggest taking this to PM so as to avoid spamming. And thanks. Edited by Armadijo

Hmmm. Well, let's see. You've got someone who's crazy awesome and a skilled fighter taking (head-on) things that drive you mad. Do the math. As my previous players can tell you, I have no problem letting people who make bad ideas suffer the consequences of those bad ideas.:w:

I have a suspicion that Kirse doesn't even have the slightest chance in this competition, just because of what the other entries are. XD

Oh well, It was fun writing it up anyways. And I'm still working on the puzzles and secrets for the slim chance that it might actually win.

I do like Kirse, actually. I think that you show promise as a GM if you keep it up--the way I got my first GMship was by entering every contest. Once you've got that first one under your belt it's easier to get the next one. :w:

Unless you screw up really bad and nobody ever votes for you to GM an RPG ever again. ;)Anyways, I posted a second review of City of the Dead. It's the only one I have over a 90% chance pinned on its winning (even if it's not what I'm voting for), so I'll at least try to help fix its errors.Think this is harsh? Try getting a peer review of an essay in English class from me. You would think that by 9th grade, people would know the difference between 'whom' and 'who'.I know it. But I don't care, because 'whom' just looks cooler.-Toa Levacius Zehvor :flagusa:

@Darkon: Too far, man. Too far.Besides, he can't do 'anything', it's just that you all haven't done so well against him.Guys, I'm about to say something which will change your minds and put Kirse #1 on your lists:Vote for Kirse and I'll give you bubble-wrap.

I fully back CotD (as aforementioned). I have considered doing the same for THooL and Rust (all others i don't like enough to do so), but decided I mildly dislike both. As such, the only other RPG I believe I will back this season is Techna's sequel.

D:What is the matter with Rust? It's even more nostalgic than CotD. Cause it has Kraata. That's two years more nostalgic.
They were called Tenno. Warriors of blade and gun: masters of the Warframe armor. Those that survived the old war were left drifting among the ruins. Now they are needed once more.

The Grineer, with their vast armies, are spreading throughout the solar system. A call echoes across the stars summoning the Tenno to an ancient place. They summon you.

Allow the Lotus to guide you. She has rescued you from your cryostasis chamber and given you a chance to survive. The Grineer will find you; you must be prepared. The Lotus will teach you the ways of the Warframes and the secrets to unlocking their powers.

Come Tenno, you must join the war.

Yanno, I'm gonna have to hire a PR specialist to promote my RPGs...

That won't be necessary. Just show people the Leviathans until they agree to vote. :fear: :P As for me and my entry, the publicity is run by Nektann and his mob of angry Skakdi. They can be very persuasive. :)This message is endorsed by Warlord Nektann.

After thinking for a while (with only the Force as my companion during my meditation :P), I've opted to skip entering this contest. I'd like to take a break from roleplaying and, in general, take a step back to better evaluate my GMing performance in Techna and thus determine how to better run its sequel. Also, I've had a terrible case of procrastination fever; if I tried finishing the RPG now, it would only seem horribly rushed.I don't plan on dropping Techna as an idea, but on the off chance it never returns, I'll be sure to end its current incarnation in a respectful manner.

@Evex: Unfortunately for you, I started liking Bionicle in Metru Nui. Rahkshi hardly hold memories in me.@Legolord: Well, frak man.At least you've done me the service of making my vote easy-with only one entry I really like, I won't even need to vote in one of the prelims.XP

For all of you looking for a 3rd option, now that Techna's gone, go with Island of Pain!Because you need more pain in your life....Wait, that doesn't work at all.Okay. You want to vote for Island of Pain because the Wolves of Liberty will finally be executing their breakout plan within the first month or so of play. And it'll be totally awesome, because nobody knows what will happen. Except the GM. Maybe. If only we had been given that extra month. We could have pulled it off...-Toa Levacius Zehvor :flagusa:

Crashlanding into the planet of the Great Beings... or the Spiny Stone Apes... one of the two.Actually, that would be a great RPG. Planet of the Spiny Stone Apes. And Rise of the Planet of the Lava Apes.-Toa Levacius Zehvor :flagusa:

It was gonna be "Planet of the Umbrae" but aliens seemed really cliche, so the plot development kind of stalled out.I'll try and work on it, get it up for submission with LL's blessing. No promises, though.-Teezy

As I may/may not have already stated, Firefly is my favorite Sci-Fi show. It has Star Trek beat easily in my book; even Stargate SG-1, my second favorite, is seconded to it. And it had no aliens in it. Almost like a western in space!@ TD; Alright then. I can go with that, as long as you can managed Co-GMing CotD as well and don't have too many conflicts.Well, here's my bets for who wins the competition. It may not be who I want to win it, but it's who I suspect will (based solely off of comments here).1. City of the Dead2. Techna 01110011 01100101 01100001 01110011 01101111 01101110 00100000 01110100 01110111 01101111After that it gets blurry. Get back to you. Probably Day Run or THooL.-Toa Levacius Zehvor :flagusa:
