Protodite Karzahni Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 I've gotta say, I think Stringer's a must-purchase, based on how he's probably one of the best looking summer sets and definitely the best looking Stringer set. The helmet's always looked kinda cool, but the 2010 set just didn't do him justice. And the blue and black colour scheme is pretty neat.Cheers for the review. Quote I wrote stories once. About the Glatorian heads, i do hope they get the socket hole remolded like the ones on 2.0 heads. Cuz I think a head with a socket of what ever you would call this style would look... strange.. I'm not completly sure, but I'm pretty sure this is only the second colour swap for a hero. The first being Rocka's purple and yellow to his latest gold. Hmm, his weapon is in the shape of a guitar. I think reusing the helmets is a genius move that allows for characters to be dramatically redesigned while still being completely recognizable. Compare it to the 2.0 wave, which had every hero donning a head accessory which often looked very little like their 1.0 helmets, and the appeal of reusing the classic helmets becomes obvious. Not to mention that the money which would have gone to single-use helmets can be used for more versatile, long-lasting parts, like the bulbuous armor shell used on many of this year's sets, or the fantastic-looking shield piece on Rocka and Breez. Gatanui Posted July 11, 2012 Posted July 11, 2012 I think a reason for the colour change could be that there were already enough sets using orange as secondary or even primary colour in the summer wave, namely Bulk and Nex.
