if you could recolor any bionicle...

okay, this isn't what it seems, but If you could recolor any bionicle (or in the case of tohunga/mctoran, make one that lego came up with, but didn't physically make) who would be what color(s) and why?

I personally would recolor the 2003 Takua, so he was all light blue, or nuparu from 2002 so he was black/dark grey (so we could have a dark grey pakari, because orange is also on 10023) and lastly hahli mahri, although those two colors are amazing togeather, they just don't fit a water type to me, I would have gone with light blue, or more preferably, sand blue (for those extra sand blue pieces), so who would you recolor (it can be a whole set to, like a fire lewa or something)

would love any kanohi from 2001-2004 in a color that we never had, I'd never say that it was a bad idea, especially for more mctoran colors (and especially for purple, kinda want a purple kaukau from flintsmith but enough dreaming)

Probably make switch all that metallic silver they had in 2008 into something more appropriate and interesting colour palette-wise.

While I agree with you, I do see their reasoning due to the fact that brown sets don't sell as well.

i thought the same thing, like in 2004-2005, that was fine, but sometime after, they should have gone back to mata style green, same with brown, pohatu should have been brown not orange, though the mask looked like an updated vahi, which also came in orange, that was neat, but still, should have been brown either way, even if it wasn't the 03 brown, it should have been something

But back to recolouring. I'd change Brutaka, or at least the Olmak piece to that kind of sparkly translucent glittery white that the Mask of Light was cast in once. It would definitely give the piece a kind of other-worldly feel.

The biggies thing in Bionicle that really need to be recolor are the 2006 to 2008 stone Matoran and Toa, really they look out of there color.
