What is your favorite Toa/ Barraki from Mahri Nui?

Jaller Mahri and Ehlek! There's no other choice!

Toa: Jaller, though Hahli would be close second.

 

Barracki: Carapar, because he is my favorite Barracki set. I also like his character in the story a lot.

Hahli and Pridak hands down. Pridak was so awesome because he WAS A SHARK! Also Hahli's wings were pretty sweet IMO

Jaller, because his set design and the fact that he was willing to go Nova. Plus just being a Toa of Fire underwater made it tough for him.

 

Ehlek was my favorite enemy. Loved his design and the fact that he represented his race too, not just a mutated warlord.

I think they were all pretty great sets, but I voted for Hahli and Ehlek.

I always loved Hahlis wings/fins. Also the Faxon looks pretty awesome. 

Ehlek had those cool spike pieces and I generally like lime green.

A tie between Nuparu and Kongu.

Kongu for "2 hands". Didn't like how short he was.

Nuparu for his awesome Protosteel shield. Didn't like his mask design that much.

 

Ehlek would be my favorite Barraki.

Gotta get that green.

Hewkii is great and probably my favorite, but I love the mahri in general, so it was a close one. The Barraki are harder. I chose Kalmah because I thought his design was cool with the tentacle and three eyes but I'm not sure about character. I feel like Takadox and Pridak are the most fleshed out in terms of character, though Kalmah takes a close third.

Hewkii, because...well...he's Hewkii. He was also my first Bionicle set (yeah I know, I'm late). 

I'd also say Mantax because I liked the concept that his character was based upon, both setwise and storywise.

Matoro and Kalmah for me! Matoro, because he was pretty boss even before the sacrifice, and Kalmah because of squids/octopi.

I always liked what they did with Hahli, putting her directly into her element and all...

I picked Jaller, Hahli, Matoro, and Takadox. Because wuestion 1's multiple choice.  Real reasons, I chose Hahli just because of the epic wings, Matoro because of Downfall, Jaller because of his sword, which has for me become the "standard MU sword", and Takadox because 1. He's epic and 2. He was my first ever BioVillain.

Matoro and Pridak.

 

Matoro's character, especially when travelling with Teridax in the Maxilos robot, was explored well in Mahri Nui, whereas Pridak was ruthless and hot-tempered, a stride from our usual white-armoured characters.

I think for the Toa as sets I liked Hewkii or Jaller the most - hard to say since I really liked Jaller's pet and sword, but Hewkii's spikes and colouring were awesome. I think Hewkii had the far cooler Kanohi power so will give the edge to him. Barraki is hard to say - I really loved Carapar's set, though his character wasn't my favourite. I think overall between set and character Pridak in retrospect would be my favourite, though at the time overall Ehlek was probably my favourite (awesome set and his character was pretty fun, but the more we found out about Pridak, his past and character the more I grew to really like him. In fact I'd say he's one of my favourite characters in the entire saga now. )

Setwise, Jaller. Otherwise, Matoro was fantastic.

 

I also had a fondness for Pridak.
