2Tie
not really necessary, just an aesthetic addition. Click
You know, most of the time I need parts on Bricklink, I shop at two or three stores to get what I want. Just make a wishlist of the pets one store doesn't have, use the Find in Stores tab above the wishlist, select the correct wishlist, and then find the store that has the most of the parts for the cheapest price. I often mix and match parts from different stores to get better prices and find everything I need. Boidoh
So after successfully finding all the parts to build Toa Krakua, a Toa of Sonics from a fan building contest, I figured I wanted to make more. So I went through the list of Dark Hunters, found the easiest to build, and now I need help with possible instructions or pieces. Thanks much for anyone who decides to help me out. I chose three. Starting with the hardest is "Silence". http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/File:Dark_Hunter_Silence.png http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=139801 The middle one would be "Shadow Stealer". http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/File:Dark_Hunter_Shadow_Stealer.png And by far the easiest to build, would be Amphibax. http://biosector01.com/wiki/index.php/File:Dark_Hunter_Amphibax.png If anyone can help me with finding what parts are needed, or making instructions through LDD or something, that would be really nice. The 1st Shadow
Have you tried looking up building instructions for them? I, myself, have built Krakua, and he was a piece of cake. Most of those others are, as well. Here's some better pictures of Amphibax, if that helps. Sumiki
Man, every time I see something about the Dark Hunters posted I remember just how utterly terrible most of them were. I'm not going to knock your rebuilding of them, if you really want to do that, but I've always been of the opinion that the models were ripe for revamping instead of recreating. 12 Quote avatar by Lady Kopaka
Shadow Destroyer
Dark Hunter Gallery I built some of the Dark Hunters a couple of years ago, and built them accurately. (As far as I can tell.) Click
I have to agree with Sumiki, though, to be fair, these were before the hollow ball joint came about and revolutionized Bionicle MOCing, and some of them were not bad for their time (that being said, a lot of them I'm really surprised made it into the book, Shadow Stealer being a case in point). Feel free to rebuild, but I'd love to see some revamps. The Dark Hunters don't get much love. The 1st Shadow gave some great pictures for Amphibax (I never realized how complicated his torso was), Shadow Stealer seems the simplest and not too bad to build. I did find the original gallery for Silence though: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=139801 EDIT: Kapura'd. Pohatu: Uniter of Stone
Shadow Stealer and Amphibax should be really easy, as nearly all of the parts are visible. Silence may be a little harder, though since parts are hidden. I'm sure won't need to buy any new parts, and if you do, I think it would be better to improvise and make them a little different than to buy parts to make these. (Seriously, unless you are going to build something like Miserix or the Tahtorak, you should just make do with what you have.) Boidoh
I'm not sure if this belongs here but I wanted to ask a question. Greg said that the Barraki had their mutations reversed, so therefore, my Pridak set should perish into pieces, since it is no longer in its current canon form. I will end up remaining with pieces such as Pridak's head and his blades/spine. Does anybody know what I can do with this to make a canon figure? I was thinking the mutated Takea Sharks. 2 Quote Add me on 3DS: 0516-7750-0068Add me on Wii U: Boidoh "I am Lloyd Garmadon, son of Lord Garmadon." - Lloyd, Episode 4: Never Trust a Snake"I am Lloyd Garmadon, son of Lord Garmadon." - Lloyd, Episode 44: Corridor of EldersLike, Comment, And Subscribe for Nintendo Content - NinBoidoh

Boidoh
In the Toa Mahri mini-movie, the mutated Takea heads kinda looked like Pridak's one. So how exactly do I use his body for Takea? I know in the Barraki mini-movie he could swim by making his feet look like tail fins. And it must be canon - of course.
