  1. IC: Reaver'I'm confused, you said you were a Janitor?.....'
  2. IC: Reaver'I think more people should carry games around. I mean, the traveller, at least. Otherwise all they'd do is just fight and sleep.'
  3. IC: Reaver'Darn it, I was really up for a game of chess.' She said in a disappointed tone. Of course, it was all an act. Reaver was used to playing on people's emotions, hopefully Rannin wouldn't catch on.
  4. Tuck.Tuck, you're scaring me.Tuck. TUCK.***Something's goin' down
  5. IC: Reaver'Karzahni in a tattoo. Although, at the time, it was pure Artahka....' She refocused again. 'You have a deck of cards or some kind of board game? Chess, maybe?'
  6. IC: ReaverShe nodded. 'Doesn't sound particularly exciting. Then again, I can't really say much. I didn't know anything but excitement and danger until recently. You remember those Mark Bearer folk? I was one of them. Ironically enough, I bore the Mark of Agony.'
  7. IC: Reaver'Technically? You're either a janitor, or you're not, as far as I'm concerned.' She tried to chuckle, but ended up in a coughing fit.
  8. IC: Reaver'Strange, even.' She looked off into the distance, before shaking her head and refocusing. 'So, what do you do? I mean, do you have a job, or are you a wanderer like nearly everyone else on this island?'
  9. IC: Reaver'I'm sorry we didn't meet in better circumstances.' She slid a hand under her mask, and immediately withdrew it. 'Argh, right to the skin. Then again, looking at the rest of me, I shouldn't be surprised.' She figured her various scars would be obvious.
  10. IC: Reaver'Small world, huh?' She waved a hand over to a chair. 'I'm Reaver, by the way.'
  11. IC: Reaver'Please? It gets lonely here. And considering I think my friend just died in that fire, I'm going to get VERY lonely.' It was probably a good thing that she didn't know the truth, that Emotia was eaten by some crazy angel-thing.
  12. IC: NPC Nurse'Be safe, Toa.'IC: Reaver'Wait.' She called out weakly to Rannin. 'Don't leave yet. I'm insanely bored. And immobile.'
  13. IC: NPC NurseA medic tapped the head Nurse on the shoulder, and she nodded understandingly. 'Your friend here has impeccable timing. Come.' She lead Rannin into a side-room, where Reaver lay, her head moving lazily from side-to-side. The medic held up a clipboard. 'She's in pretty bad shape, Mister Toa-Sir. Left arm's broken, minor fracture of the cranium, massive internal bleeding, had a large piece of wood go right through her thigh. It's going to take a while for her to heal, but she should live.' The head Nurse nodded and sent the medic away to tend to other patients. 'I assume you'll be on your way now?'
  14. IC: NPC Nurse'Ahh, I see. Do you want to wait for her to wake up, see how she is, or are you just an anonymous Good Samaritan?'
  15. IC: ReaverShe groaned quietly, but was still unconscious from her injuries. Her eyes moved rapidly under their lids, as though she was dreaming. She didn't see much, though. Just fire and death.OOC: Minor bunnyingIC: NPC NurseRannin walked into the nearest hospital, and immediately a group of medical staff took Reaver out of his arms and placed her gently on a stretcher. A Ga-Matoran walked over the Toa of Iron holding a clipboard. 'Friend of hers?' She inquired politely.
  16. OOC: Alright, one more.IC: ReaverShe breathed in sharply as Rannin picked her up, wincing with the ever familiar agony. She tried to thank Rannin, but passed out before she could, the pain becoming too much to handle. A first for Reaver.
  17. IC: ReaverShe could barely walk, much less talk, so she weakly gestured at the splinter going through her leg. She assumed that Rannin would see the rest of her injuries and help her find medical attention.OOC: Last post for the night, I need the sleepses.
  18. Like a Phoenix from the ashes, A.K.A I hope someone told Tyler about this.Like, seriously.
  19. IC: NarratorThe entire building was ablaze, smoke rising into the skyin amounts unseen anywhere outside Ta-Wahi. The structure creaked and groaned, as if to say it was giving up. Sections of the walls caved in under the immense weight put upon them by their charred and fallen brethren. One last almighty crack pierced the air, and the Casa Juturna was no more, razed completely to the ground by inferno. Nothing was recoverable, and anyone in the house at the time should have died.Should have.IC:ReaverShe had returned to the cellar upon seeing the fire, curled up in the corner sobbing as the flames advanced on her.OhgodIdon'twanttodiewhylikethisit'stoosoonwhere'sEmotiaMataNuipleasehelpmeIdon'twanttogoIdon'twanttogoIdon'twanttogoIdon'twan-All fell silent as she was buried under layer upon layer of rubble. Seconds passed. Minutes passed. It was a full three-quarters of an hour before something stirred at the site of the inferno. It was subtle at first, a minor disturbance of the wood and dust, then, like a Phoenix from the ashes, she emerged. Scarred, burnt, broken physically and mentally, but still very much alive. Her yellow glinting eyes stood in contrast against the sooty and smoking armour. She dragged herself to her feet, and slowly limped towards the village, a large splinter of wood emerging from either side of her left thigh. She whimpered, both in pain and defeat.
  20. IC: Saylt'Owwwwwwww....'IC: DanaveThis time, the screaming was for real. She could barely see straight, she clutched her head in agony, and her Volitak was causing her to flicker in and out of sight. 'Get out of my head, GET OUT OF MY HEAD!' She managed to summon up an ounce of concentration, and that was all she needed for a reversal. If the Makuta's mental defenses were a wall, Danave's mental assault was a bunker-buster.
  21. OOC: Probably should point out that Danave is a girl.IC: SayltHe was pulled from his vantage point at the edge of the forest and to the singularity, crashing into the other Wolves with a loud 'Oof!' He managed to fire off a large bolt of ice at the Shepherd's feet, trying to freeze him in place.IC: DanaveFrom her cover in the water, she was unaffected by the singularity. The mental pain from the Makuta's counterattack was beginning to overwhelm her, but from the fraction of her mind that wasn't screaming, she hatched an idea. She took the pain, the mental scream, amplified it for an agonising second, and redirected the piercing tone out of her head, and into the Makuta's, hoping to overwhelm him the same way he did to her.
  22. I'm.... I'm not hating this.Quite the opposite of hating, in fact
  23. IC: Saylt, DanaveSaylt stood near the edge of the battle, firing off bolts of ice at strategic points on the Makuta's body, attempting to lock up his joints.Danave, meanwhile, hid in the water of the Cove, making a mental assault, bombarding him with sounds and images in an attempt to overwhelm and disorient him, making it easier for the Wolves to take him out.
  24. IC: Zealokan'Pay him no mind, Miha. You should get some rest. We all should.' He stretched and yawn loudly. 'As much as I'd love to stay at an inn, I've no widgets. Miha, do you have a spare room or a tree I could sleep under?' He tried to chuckle, but it came out weakly, full of anxiety.
  25. IC: Zealokan 'We will carry on, as we have over these past few months. I'm not from Mata Nui, and I have seen that you are a strong and tight-knit people.' He knelt down and looked the Le-Matoran in the eye. 'You must be strong, Miha. Nothing good ever came from dwelling on the past, take that advice from the last Ve-Toa.' Zealokan looked down at his feet briefly, then stood upright. 'We should go pay our last respects. I mean, if you want, no pressure.'
