We could have the 'roughness' that G1 had, and still have the creativity of CCBS. Just replace all the smooth shells with piston/armor-covered ones.

Hopefully the Toa rely on their knowledge of hand-to-hand combat more than they do their powers. I think it makes for a more interesting, and epic character I think.

Eh...Sounds really interesting. Not gonna get it though, 'cause I rarely go to book stores (I go maybe once a year to my local Barnes & Nobile to pick up a volume of comics or something), and I haven't bought a magazine subscription since my Shonen Jump days.

Anyone got the Toys R Us codes? Tahu, Protector of Ice, and Lewa apparently aren't in stock at my Target's.

(Welcome to BZP by the way!) Are polybag figures even necessary for collectors? Maybe for heavy completionists, but I don't think so for regular collectors.

As a collector of action figures, having different 'brands' of figures can sometimes be a nightmare. Because you have a line made by, lets say Hasbro like you mentioned, which could easily consist of 18+ figures a year, and you have the Lego brand Bionicles to worry about too. Now, having more sets isn't a bad thing, but I can see having so many different figures at once putting a lot of strain on the wallet.

I've seen plenty of people mention the 'Elemental Lords'. I think similar beings would serve well as a negative to the Toa, like the Piraka were to the Nuva.

Speaking of which, I have a giant bin full of parts (I'm regretting taking all my sets that I did have apart.)in which I used to MOC with. I like watching anything that's action-packed, as well as humorous. I love being lazy, but I'm not fat. I plan on going to collage after a few years of freedom--planning on retiring around 70. I currently have a job working as a caretaker for my grandmother, which my friends laughed at until I told them I'm making 200$ a week. I started collecting Lady Death figures, and own a couple of Vampirella figures. I hope to get a Chun-li figure in the future sometime. Oh, and I lived in the boring as all heck state of Wyoming for 5 horrible years. Though, I did get my first GF there.

I usually play a few videogames or watch a certain Si-Fi movies to get some inspiration from. Then I take a piece that looks really cool then start building around that single piece.

I agree with ya'...Partly. We have no idea how many episodes we're going to get in the first year, let alone when Ep. 4 is going to be released. I wouldn't be surprised if we got one a month. Though, I wish they made each episode longer, containing more 'story'. Wouldn't mind if we only got a few of them a year.

I thought the Toa Mahri were worse than the Inika. Except for Kongu. He's head design was pretty cool.

Those are really steep prices...( Why would Tarakava cost more than the Muaka and Kane-Ra??) Amazon usually has those sets on sell for around $50-70.

Are you guys sure it's bigger? It looks normal sized to me. I think the pieces are a little bit bigger than the ones in the real set.
