  1. Toa build was a tough one for me. While the Mata\Nuva build is a classic, can I say I enjoy it beyond that? I went with Piraka, as that build is what started the the "standardized" torso builds, and when I moc, I find myself going back to that. It does't help that these are the most common parts I have aswell. Matoran is Tohunga for being pure classics. No other Matoran design ever even came close to being as awesome as these little guys are. imo. For bonus, I chose Bohrok-Va without looking at the other options, as one of my first sets was a Pahrak-Va. And again, because 2001-2003 classicness. Upon second examination, Rahkshi of Heat vision was pretty sweet aswell.
  2. I've no idea what I am looking at, but I am jealous.
  3. I likey what you dids there. Out comes a wizard in a prison outfit. In goes 500 angry horse sized hornets.
  4. I had to Google what a sandbar is Sounds pretty rough, living off sandbars for generations. I seem to remember seeing dragonflies in some promotional still depicting one of the Toa in thier corresponding region surrounded by the regional wildlife, but I could't find it. Maybe they are in a couple frames in MOL, as I seem to remember seahorses in a swimming scene with Gali. Its reasonable to assume dragonflies show up at some point.
  5. While reading this topic, the matter of organic life on Mata-Nui came up. Acording to BIOSector01, all the creatures on the island are not native to it, and we also know that there are no other natural land masses on Aqua Magna. And giving a look at the creatures page, we see that most creatures found on Aqua Magna are well, aquatic. But what about all the birds and the dragonflies? Where did they come from? Insects and birds need land and vegitation to survive, don't they?
  6. "O'ee" means cucumber in Korean. You get canned cucumbers. I wish I could stop drinking iced tea.
  7. Noctrunal. No wait, that's the demon goddes of night and darkness from Elder Scrolls. I meant Noctrun.
  8. Out comes a confused matador! In goes his fancy hat...
  9. Ha! I had a good laugh there. Say, what is that flag on the wall?
  10. That scene was one of the more memorable scenes from MNOG for me. I remember liking to moc that little thing and giving it to the Matoran to hold. While I never truly dwelled on this question, I think it was allways in my subconscious that it was some cool piece of medical equipment. The notion that Matoro is allways prepared with some med gear for lost souls in Ko-Wahi makes him so much cooler to me.
  11. Lets not forget Ussal wax for the cute widdle Ussal cwabs.
  12. For the longest time, I don't even remember when I realised I was wrong, I pronounced Lewa as "Lawa". Don't ask me why. I voted "LEH-wah", but I'm not sure myself. I think I catch myself pronouncing it either like that or like "LEE-Wah" As for Jaller, I never even thought of pronouncing the J in his name as "Y". That is totally cool. As for the whole "ler" or "lah", I think that boils down to accent. As a sidenote, "Yallah" is a Hebrew/Arab slang world meaning "come on", "lets go" and such. On a completely unrelated note. I am allways slightly cautious with BZP polls. It happened to me a couple of times where I take my time filling out the poll, only to press on the neutral vote by accident. ouch.
  13. I'm talking about the blue mask on the image on the first post here.
  14. I want to write a wall of text singing praise to this! but I won't. This is simply AMAZING. Truely mind blowingly amazing. And long too MAN 17 minutes of pure awesome. I find it hard to even pinpoint my favorite thing about this. This IS my favorite thing. Now now, some high lights for me. 5:24 - Smooooth transition. 8:24 - The background turns red, Tahu wears the Hau and he says "fool". He is infact describing himself at this moment without even realizing it. BRILLIANT. 10:00 - This. thisthisthisthisthis. This is just pure gold. This. 10:37 - *knocked out* *KAITA* *KLANG* *drop* I must wonder if this made the front page in the news when it came out. Also I wonder if Pereki has any similar projects. I will now go check.
  15. Mahiki? are you sure? The only detain on the sprite that I can make out is a vent on top, and that is not something the Mahiki has...
  16. Well, I have played your "first game" just now, and it is very charming. Reminds me a great deal of BZP's heyday when there was a decent selections of fangames to choose from. Sigh, good old days. Anyway, the gameplay itself was decent enough. The music was quite something. Did you make it? Its a spin on the MNOG2 Ga-Koro theme. I got stuck in the fourth level when I fell into the Rahkshi pit without the key. I gave the minigames a go. They are pretty well made, aside from coins apearing in the walls, and gems appearing underground in the shooter minigame. My favorite was the shooter. It is no doubt the most challenging. I'd like to know what sprite sheet was used for the coin collecting minigame. They are not unlike the original Mario sprites. Very charming indeed. As for your new project, if it is anything near the second Dark709 Movie video game in terms of quality, that would be certainly something I'd like to see. As for ideas, I think an a great gameplay mechanic would be picking up special powerups or gear from fallen bosses. Ones that grant you special abilities that can also double as keys to access previously hidden areas in previous maps. Not unlike BIONICLE Heroes, and the weapon steal concept from Megaman (or Rockman I think).
  17. Say, what mask is that supposed to be? I can't make it out really...
  18. These are really nice sets. My money is on the Little House aswell. Never heard of the book, but its just an awesome set. And I think I have seen it in BrickShelf. Not entirely sure. I remember seeing an MLP set with some really nicely designed minifig Ponies half a decade ago. Shame that didn't make it. Aw well, I guess Hasbro and LEGO were never meant to be together.
