  1. Out comes a more favorably received group of 6 sets. In goes Solek.
  2. About .2% of the Oxygen atoms in Earth's atmosphere aren't your normal O16, they're a different isotope. (primarily O18) C. M. Weber's Clarinet Concertino has 241 measures in it. Despite the fact it's commonly associated with him, John Pertwee only said the full phrase "Reverse the polarity of the neutron flow" twice in Doctor Who. Lawyer and avocado are the same word in French, avocat, and you can only tell them apart by context. (also an avocado can only be male in french) The square root of 431649 is 657. And for the least useful fact so far, probably: my A Clarinet's keys were made at the bench with the same letter as the first of my first name, I ironically didn't know this when I bought it.
  3. As in the sequel to Phantom of the Opera? Cool, I've never heard it before. (However I did see Phantom in Broadway during a band trip in November and that was incredibly awesome.) I've pulled up the overture to Phantom of the Opera now, so that works.
  4. I will point out I would need to have student loans for that to work so lel. and back to corrupting wishes; Granted, but you still want for it to be better than it was, and this leaves you with a feeling of not having accomplished all you could have with it. I wish for a wish that can't be corrupted. =P (I mainly just want to see how someone deals with this.)
  5. Ouch. I actually really enjoyed this game. Yeah, it was really fun to read and abstain from voting in. (=P)
  6. Granted, but your means of watching them break. I wish for approximately $600.
  7. Out comes the Nuva forms of them. In go both of the Nuva Kaita.
  8. Out comes Lewa the green-masked reindeer. (yes, that's obviously parodying Rudolph, thank you for noticing. =P) In goes 42 presents.
  9. wat. So am I the only one confused by what just happened or?
  10. *Reads scene* *walks out* I have a life, I occasionally use it. =P and besides, I normally just let the game go as everyone else plays and watch as it all unfolds. *shrug* I will vote, I guess... Americana and Marvelous then.
  11. Italian IRL Mafia? That doesn't sound anything like what we do here - Whoa! Nah, we didn't do it Italian style, just in Italy. Italian IRL mafia might have been a bit different. =P
  12. ^^That is a great essay! And yeah, I've played IRL Mafia a lot (even in Italy of all places, a few times during a band trip back in March) and it certainly is different from ours. I like how ours works better, honestly.
  13. Out comes the Toa Inika In goes my realization of the fact that Inika and Kiina are anagrams.

    This Guy

Congrats on the Masters Spirit! That's really impressive!
  15. ErmGresh TTL is a merfiors confrim!!32!47&$@#! (This isn't accusing.) And I'm saying more along the lines 20s and 30s era saxes (ie my tenor) tend to sound darker on average. (Might be just a teeny bit older than me. 75 years older in the case of my Tenor, actually.) But yeah it definitely is possible on a brighter on average sounding horn, ie a Selmer Series 3 Soprano, to sound dark, it's just somewhat harder and it helps significantly more with mouthpiece choice and voicing and air to do so than just the horn you're playing on, it's just a random observation I and others have made. EDIT: I can't spell or type at times.
  16. That was a really interesting and fun game. It'll be interesting to possibly see how this ends out in a Slizer mafia 3.
  17. Switching my vote to RG. I'm not even going to protest that because my pun was so bad. =P
  18. you voted for me...twice? D: oh no... voting for Luroka, then :/ That moment when you forgot you already voted It's better than voting while thinking you're alive but aren't. =P
  19. And you call your self a band child.(slaps RG with a white glove) A true musician knows how to control an instruments brightness and can produce rich sound. (sorry for releasing my Band Nerd self on you all. ) No, the true band nerd would know that modern saxes and mouthpieces tend to be brighter than they were before WW2. =P And yes, they do. Or at least should. (really though some modern Selmers, Yamahas, and Yanagisawas can be really naturally bright sounding.) And also as a comment, rich and dark aren't the same thing. (And I'm showing I'm more of a band nerd even lel. =P) To be on topic, I predict that TTL is going to be bandwagoned. EDIT: I regret nothing about how awful that pun is, I'll add.
  20. I vote TTL's Alto Sax because I find it too bright tonally for my preferences. =P
