BIONICLE MAFIA: Haunted House of Spooky Spookiness
The Swimming Beard replied to Mesonak's topic in Games & Trivia
I vote Null, because killing a family of midget beavers is just cold. -
But then you wouldn't even be able to tell it was spinning...

Darn, missed the signup. Add me as a reserve, then.

A spinning Hero Core would be cool, especially if HF ends next year.

I still don't understand one bit of this game.

"No". Please note that that is not the answer to the question. The answer is yes. Is coffee the best drink ever invented after water?

My vote was for Kuan, not sure whether it was counted as that or not. -
Kid Icarus Uprising
The Swimming Beard replied to The Swimming Beard's topic in Completely Off Topic
Yeah, the Hades fight was good. What I eeally meant was that Still, it didn't really detract any; The game was still awesome. And he 4th wall breakings were cool too. The one about metroids was particularly amusing. -

*jumps on Kuan bandwagon* -
Seems I was late to the party on this Discuss the game here. I finished the game yesterday. Overall, I think it was great throughout, though the ending seemed a bit rushed. What is your best/favorite weapon? Lately, I was able to obtain an Ore Club with a value of 320 and six stars in both ranged and melee, so that's probably one of my best. Also, is anyone up for some online matches?

I really see no reason for search flood control. The post version seems fine like it is.

Is that a display case? How did you get it?

I would have chosen option 4, but I forgot at the time of my post. I did just now, though.- 109 replies

What is the series you want Lego to make sets of?
The Swimming Beard replied to Infamousevil's topic in LEGO Discussion
Doctor Who is the main one I would like to see. Kid Icarus would be awesome, too. -
The Character and Creature Building System (CCBS)
The Swimming Beard replied to fishers64's topic in LEGO Discussion
I like it, but I wouldn't without Bionicle and technic pieces to mix it with in MOCs. On its own, it's simply too basic to build with, IMO.- 7 replies

I vote Kaiser. -
So basically, what wave of Hero Factory do you think was the best? Personally, I would choose Breakout, as it had everything that made a good theme: a good non-humanoid character (Thornraxx), non-mindless villians, and overall good designs. Brain Attack would be a close second, with good color coordination between heroes and villians, as well as a somewhat Bionicle-esque look.

Who you want to be a XL
The Swimming Beard replied to Mr. Cup of Fail's topic in Hero Factory Discussion
Bulk XL would be cool. I would be fitting, for a character whose name is Bulk to have a large, bulky, form. -
I like polls, but really have no interest in making them. It does seem like it should be open to all members, as it doesn't seem like a huge incentive to buy Premier anyway.

Poll: 2015: The End of Hero Factory?
The Swimming Beard replied to fishers64's topic in Hero Factory Discussion
1: I personally don't think it will end next year, partially due to seeing some discussion on Eurobricks. 2: I'd rather have it continue along with Bionicle. After all, you can never have too many options for constraction sets, and more sets means more useful parts.- 109 replies

Tyrak, Toa of Light
The Swimming Beard replied to The Swimming Beard's topic in Bionicle-Based Creations
Well, a lot of the 3D appearance revolves around thicker technic constructions. One good way to build thick custom torsos and limbs is to start with pieces like this or this, and then apply more technic up and to the sides to complete the constuction. Additionally, a good base for limbs is a design with 2 of these connected by one of these. This is quite versatile, and can be used with many different armor combinations. It can also serve as a base for thicker and longer leg designs. However, custom designs are not always necessary for thick builds. In many cases, using non-custom bases looks very good as well. After building the actual designs, it is simply a case of adding armor. Often, multiple layers of armor can be useful to produce a thicker feel, especially on non-custom bases. Anyway, I hope this post was helpful. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask. Thanks. Anyway, as for the feet, I agree that they look a bit small. I originally used white Inika feet, but I changed them for better color distribution. Anyway, thanks for the feedback.
