Well, I decided to whip this up when I was bored with homework - about 30 mins of Do NOT bypass the word filter - Rayg sketching, and 30 mins of coloring during breaks at school. What I was thinking of when I drew this was the scene where Master Chief was on the forerunner dreadnought in the Halo 2 ending cutscene, where Lord Hood says, "Mind telling me what you're doing on that ship?" to which Chief replies, "Sir. Finishing the fight." Finish the Fight became Halo 3's official tagline. You will notice that Lewa is cocked to the side, with the light coming behind from behind him, similar to that in the cutscene. Well, it's nothing special, but I hope you like it. As you may know, Lewa Nuva actually had some design elements from Master Chief (many of which were eventually cut), but I also just saw Bionicle 2008 as a heroic finishing point for a main portion of the plot arc. If we're talking about specific parts, then I'd say Brutaka's sword blades, Onua's claws, or Tahu's fire sword.

I think Icarax and Krika died the worst deaths. They'd be painful, as their component atoms would be ripped apart, but also, those two characters could have done so much more.

Midak, because they shot straight, far, and true. Cordak, because a gatling underwater missile cannon is always awesome. Rhotuka, because sending them flying from one end of the house to the other is always a blast. Though the only Rhotuka I could fire really well was Rahaga Pouks, and not Keelerak's our Keetongu's, this doesn't temper my excitement.

Where the heck do you guys find all these thrift shops and garage sales with bionicles? My best deals - My friend gave me Turaga Dume and Nivawk for free from his basement a few years back. I bought 5 Toa Mata on eBay w/ their instructions and some extra masks, but they were all missing their gear parts, and Pohatu was missing a lot and had a black Kakama. However, all the rest of them was complete and they were in great shape, especially for ~$10. I bought all the 2008 Toa minus Gali in a lot from a BZP member for $5 each, and he threw in Tanma for free. I think that the day I graduated from 5th grade, I went with my best bud to TRU and his mom bought me Nuparu Inika, and offered me another, but I didn't. On a side note, my friend grabbed Pridak (?) and a Mahri Nui Matoran (Defilak?), before going to his house and building them in his room. As for in-store deals, the only one I can remember is that I got Thornraxx for $6.46 including tax on clearance at TRU. I don't know if it's a great deal, but I got all the 2003 Matoran for $20 on eBay.

The Raven and Wolf ultrabuilds are pretty cool. As said above, Lion Chi Temple is the only normal set worth a dime.

I thought so too - in the CGI trailer, they appeared to be nearly exactly the same, with very similar set-ups and faceplates, despite having a large number of changed detail. However, the actual toy appears to be basically the same as the trailer - I think it's just that we saw them right next to each other at a glance in similar get-ups, so we didn't see the uniqueness of each. Also, great pictures, Toa Jaller. Really sold me on that Surge. Lastly, perhaps I'm devolving into insanity, but it appears to me that Dragonbolt's nose looks like that of some cartoon rat/mouse that I've seen somewhere or a demon-peanut.

In my opinion, the shoulders should be bulked up more to fit with the rest of his armored bod.

My childhood revolved around Bionicles. I got Bionicles for Christmas, for Birthdays, anytime there'd be a gift there'd be Bionicles. I had several books, which have been read thousands of times. I founded two of my best friendships over Bionicles - talking about the latest developments during recess together. By 2009, I decided to leave the hobby due to the necessity of being "cool" in middle school. But then I got into transformers, and just recently have returned to Bionicle. I remember being unable to beat the first level of Bionicle: The Game. I didn't know of BZP for all of Bionicle's existence, so I can't really delve into that.

2003 Matoran pieces. E.g. I wanna build Kongu and Nuparu in that fashion, but you literally can't. I've seen some good MOCs, but they'd still stand out.

I think that he means which CHARACTER of all the SETS that you own is your favorite - E.g. I have four Onuas, 2 Takanuvas, and 2 Lewas - I'll say my favorite character is Onua. I like Mata Nui, but I don't have his set. I think that's what he's going for. Onua is my favorite character. However, Makuta (Teridax), Nuju, Nuparu, Matau, and Vakama all rank highly. Oh, and LHIKAN ! !! ! Onua is still #1. He is strong, quiet, but not quiet 'cause he's a jerk most of the time *cough* Kopaka *cough*, wise, intelligent, and cool looking. And the fact that he was my first/second... uh... totally has nothing to do with it...

Yep. A series of most classic figures would be better than one. But if it were ONLY one... Toa Mata Nui. Never got that guy.
