  1. IC: "The Wanderer" The cloaked Toa repeated the same process for "Forerunner", carving To Protect You on another part of the same rock face. He considered trying to remove his carvings to prevent anyone from tracking him... but he then realized that leaving them there like clues, just outside the gates, would just make things more interesting. And "The Wanderer" hadn't seen a lot of interesting happenings for a while.
  2. IC: "The Wanderer" "The Wanderer" slowly turned from his confronter and raised his hands. In each was a single, metal canister. He activated his power over magnetism and allowed them to float up against against the rock outcropping. He concentrated, pushing them harder and harder against the rock, scratching over and over again. After a little while, the words appeared.
  3. IC: "The Wanderer" He froze. Uh-oh. "The Forerunner" had certainly spotted him and was quickly closing the distance between the two of them. He sighed under his hood. If he disappeared or ran away, this would only contribute to suspicion of him, which was not what he wanted. He took a few steps to his left, so he and the "Forerunner were more fully concealed under the outcropping of a rock as he arrived.
  4. IC: "The Wanderer" He almost missed them as they were leaving the marketplace. He had almost fallen asleep in Ta-Koro's warmth, lying against the shoddily-constructed stall door. Thankfully, they had just passed in front of his slowly closing eyes right when he was on the threshold of blissful sleep. He decided against activating his Huna, as he had used it so much and it had drained so much energy from him. He wrapped his dark cloak around himself more tightly, even though it was the usual temperature of "blazing hot" in Ta-Wahi. Finally, judging that the time and distance was right, he stood up, and continued his discrete trail of the two Piraka-hunters.
  5. I advise you to watch eBay. In the past few weeks, off of eBay, I've gotten the Tarakava for $20 shipped and the Muaka and Kane-Ra for only $19.74 shipped. I think the best option is not to burn the money immediately on one large purchase, but to spend a little while prowling the eBays (like me) until you find the best deals, to get the biggest bang for your buck. I'd also recommend not buying new-in-box items, as they are far more expensive, while guaranteeing little more. If you're asking advice on what items to buy, this is a largely personal preference. However, I would suggest using that money (if you are sure you want to spend a vast majority of it on Bionicle) to buy the rarer items that are not often seen. For example, the Battle Vehicles, Karzahni, and above all, Toa Mata Nui. That said, it is more important (in my humble opinion) to spend the extra time to get the best price for the item (especially as some of those rare items can get quite pricey) as opposed to buying it straight away. There are a few sellers on eBay who routinely sell high quality Bionicles at good prices, but I don't want to give them away Best of luck!
  6. IC: Torvoth "I thought you'd come about," answered Torvoth with a smile. "I really do have a lot of stuff, but most of it is inside my store. I'd display it in the windows if I could for passer-bys, but I don't have windows." Torvoth gestured towards his shack. "I have a quasidimensional storage unit in there, so I'm certain that I'll have something in there for you if you want to come inside and take a peek for yourself..." He opened the door and glanced back at the skeptical Toa. "C'mon."
  7. IC: Torvoth "Oh." he said, as he glanced at Ardoku's brass claymore. "Well." He played with his fingers for a little bit. "A bit of an awkward way to start things off, but are you sure there isn't anything which I could possibly offer you? I even give out free jokes if I'm in a good mood, but that's a buy-one get-one kind of policy with my items." He turned to his shack. "If you want, I can show you around... how true genius works and crafts."
  8. Yeah... it turns out I was trying to beat Delta Halo in a warthog... and with no rocket launchers... When I actually realized this, my rocket marines still died, but I did get a tank. And the rest of my marines died. But I shall carry on! I also beat Halo 2 before Halo 3, which added to the story feeling, but also made me used to the gameplay as well after primarily playing Halo 4. Edit: AND THAT IS IT! I'm done with Halo 2 Legendary. Even with the Envy skull, Delta Halo is im-fricking-possible. Here's why - in all the walkthroughs, your marines are supposed to come with you, and have power weapons. Here's what happens: THEY ALL DIE. In all the walkthroughs, Jackals immediately drop their shields after one shot to the hand.... it's more like three, because of how shoddily rendered the shields are. In all the walkthroughs, they somehow get checkpoints when I don't. Now, the last gripe, is that I'm at the drone area... no marines... and I'm locked at a checkpoint where I'm at the bottom level... with the envy skull, I can survive the first wave, then grab the sniper, then take out the Jackals... except either A) My headshots aren't headshots or B) they aren't anywhere where I can shoot, so when I stick my head out, they take my head off. Next time I boot it up, I won't even have Envy skull on... which rhymes with suicide. I'm sorry, but whoever actually enjoys Halo 2 Legendary must be the kind of people who like sticking their *&&&s in a vice. That said. Has anyone actually beaten Halo 2 LASO? In the world?
  9. Vezok has just left a bar in Ta-Wahi, while the Piraka in general appear to have a base of operations somewhere there. You can interact with the Piraka as they are under the control of players... just be wary of them.
  10. IC: "The Wanderer" He was very exhausted after flying all the way from Ga-Wahi to Ta-Wahi. Finally, thank Mata Nui, the two Piraka-hunting travelers he was following stopped at a market to buy some goods. He cloaked himself with his Huna and decelerated as he cruised in for a landing a few meters away from the first stalls. He just got close enough to the two before they parted again, presumably to each hunt for certain goods, just managing to overhear the Matoran say, "We can get reeds anywhere". He would have done his best to helped them find some reeds, but the use of his power and Huna so much over the past few hours had drained him. He ducked into an empty stall, de-cloaked, and sat down against the flimsy wooden stall. He kept one eye open so he could see his two unknowing charges, while he closed the other and rested. OOC: "The Wanderer" has arrived in Ta-Wahi.
  11. IC: Torvoth "He-hey there, friend! Nice to see you in Onu-Koro! What brings you here? That I just threw a metal object at you?" Torvoth laughed as Ardoku stayed silent and kept his distance. He beckoned the Toa closer. "Trust me, I don't bite. Well, not usually. I also don't go around chucking things at anyone I see... you seem like a reputable-looking fellow. But take my word... in these parts, there are plenty of folks who would rip a good guy like you to shreds just for a few widgets... and you might need something... you know, something shooty or stabby or killy to keep these unsavory characters away... You catch my drift, my friend?"
  12. I agree that they seem a bit too human, but that seems to be your artistic style. That said, they look gorgeous. I love how you made the crystalline armor plates.
  13. Urkh. Oracle boss was terrrible... But nothing compared to the pile of evil known as Delta Halo. My marines all die near-instantaneously, leaving me to fend off the hordes with an SMG and a plasma pistol. In other news, I tried doing box launching w/ Sputnik skull for the better part of an hour to try and get the Scarab Gun. No dice.
  14. I like the Pacific Rim thing. Especially since I still haven't seen the movie. The one with mini-Breez and the Stormer set have baddies near the top that look veeery similar to some of the Kaiju, like Leatherback (?). The only one I think I'll buy, as I'm so strapped for cash and space, will have to be Evo XL. Stealth Rocka looks nice too.
  15. IC: Torvoth Torvoth spotted someone walking past his side street, one of the first in hours. Not wanting to miss a business opportunity, the Kadin-helmed Vortixx threw an empty metal can at the passer-by. "Hey! Hey, you! Over here!" he cried. OOC: I'm looking at Ardoku, if that's okay with you. You can ignore me if you want.
  16. Okey dokey. If anybody has any characters, stores, shops, and/or homes which they don't like, don't use, or would simply like to be wiped off of the face of Mata Nui in a beautiful explosion, PM me.
  17. Do I even need to PM a staff member before I start giving Ga-Koro a nice revision in landscape? Or would that depend on how far I want to go?
  18. IC: "The Wanderer" Being silent had many advantages, perhaps more than one might think. For example, as he wasn't busy chatting with other restaurantgoers, he was able to overhear some of what Kaunis and the Toa were talking about. He hadn't heard all of it, but he had heard the word "Piraka". Now, as he hadn't been in touch with the news for quite some time, he had no idea who these "Piraka" were, but he knew what the word meant. The worst breed of murderers and scoundrels possible. Somehow, he doubted that a single Toa and a little Matoran would be enough to stop, let alone apprehend, a being who had gained such a title. He stood up and began walking out of the restaurant, following them. On the way out, he flicked a paper-thin sheet of metal into Voulge's glass while he was facing Theriss. Hastily scrawled upon it was . He ducked off into a side street after leaving the restaurant, activated his Huna, and shot up into the air with his mastery of magnetism. Then, when he was high enough that he could just see them, but difficult for most to see him, he deactivated his Huna to conserve energy for the journey. There were also advantages to being able to fly. OOC: "The Wanderer" to Ta-Wahi. Also - how do you type in Matoran on BZPower? How do I get Matoran text there?
  19. Ah, okay, thanks for all of the swift replies. Go ahead, if you want yourself waist-deep in bad trouble. This means trouble in-game, not with the staff, right? (Assuming I don't start fragging random characters as they walk by, as in I follow the rules and ask permission to blow stuff up).
  20. Two questions: How does one go around joining a group like Bad Company? Would there be a way for me to blow up various locations in the game? I mean, not demolishing Koros, but perhaps blowing up stores and such, creating sort of a criminal mini-thriller in the game?
  21. Ordo is looking epically through a flip-down visor OVER his visor. We heard you like visors in visors so we gave you more visor visors.
  22. IC: Torvoth He glanced at the clock on the far wall of his tiny, messy shack in a dark alley of Onu-Koro. He groaned. It was the second time this week that Torvoth had overslept. He got up from the bed in the corner and walked over to his closet. He opened it (by this, he grabbed one of the handles and the door fell off) and took out the only item in there - his battered Kadin-helm. Torvoth then went over to the scratched mirror and put on his helmet, before grabbing a filthy brush from on his worktable. He rinsed it in the sink and began brushing the "teeth" of his Kadin while softly humming a tune to himself. When finished, he tossed the brush away, grabbed his briefcase of tools and designs, and went to work. This consisted in opening the door of his shack, closing the door of his shack, and sitting down in the rickety chair at a desk about a bio from the building he woke up in. It was too bad that he woke up late. He hoped he hadn't lost out on any business. It'd been pretty slow going lately, even though he'd started reducing his prices. Somebody would have to stop by sooner or later to buy a weapon to kill somebody else with. He flipped open his briefcase and began the painful process of reorganizing. He had nothing better to do anyways, so he might as well make it neater and throw away any extra papers while he waited. OOC: Torvoth (and his weapons designing) open for interaction! Torvoth doesn't forge items, like swords/axes... he builds stuff, like guns and gadgets and doo-dads.
  23. I like this topic when it first appeared, but was unable to answer it. Now that you've helped us both out, I'm still somewhat confused. So we know that the stars in the skies above all Great Spirit Robot locations besides Metru Nui are giant lightstones... So... are the lightstones rotating around the roof of the dome? Or using this lightbending you mentioned? These are sort-of speculation questions... but this one isn't and it still ties to this topic: Are the landmasses inside of the robot on the edges of the domes facing inwards? Like, how is the inside of the robot laid out in terms of locations?
  24. So that was a finale... Yeah, it was long and awesome, but it didn't really have a feeling of closure...
  25. Eh. I just beat Arbiter on Legendary with relatively little difficulty. How come the fourth level is easier than the first? Taking a beam rifle from your elite ally near the beginning (after he dies :/ ) can make a lot of areas easier. I carried my energy sword through the whole thing, but it was useless. Carbine, grenades, beam rifle. I am a bit scared for Oracle though.
