I think creating comics and/or 2d animation would be the best medium for a series that includes both well thought out story and drawing.

Rumor: Bionicle's return in 2015
TechnicRage replied to RaidMaster Productions's topic in Bionicle Discussion
As long as this new line isn't a Galidor, I'm all ears. A Bionicle reboot would be a step up if done properly. -
which bionicle sets from 2006 you liked the most
TechnicRage replied to Tahu3.0's topic in Bionicle Discussion
Matoro. A good looking figure with a concise color scheme -
The MoC looks awesome and has a very solid build. The things that definitely stand out is the head and cannons, and really gives the MoC some character. My only complaint is the gaps in the lower legs, which I think would look better as an HF bone and some silver armor, but that seems a little nit-picky. Overall good job

It's a Bird, it's a Plane, it's...

Just because I had never heard of you -- but I'm not really active so I don't really know any people -
It's a Bird, it's a Plane, it's...
TechnicRage replied to Torran's topic in Bionicle-Based Creations
I was a little hesitant when I clicked on the page, but when I did, I was completely baffled how great this MoC looks! It fits the style of the other jet-sets that came out in 2008, but the overall look is so much better. My favorite part is definitely the seat. I would have never thought of it, and is so creative. I also love the little details you included; the handle to hold it, the fan at the bottom, but most of all the engine in the front. Brilliant MoC! -
Is Hero Factory like a Sandbox
TechnicRage replied to Mr. Cup of Fail's topic in Hero Factory Discussion
I think Hero Factory was based around the concept that you can make your own characters and story, with the premise that the heroes defeat the villain. It was definitely centered around your own creativity, hence the building style of super versatile pieces that can be switched and swapped to make your own. -
I put my Bionicle pieces in bins that correspond with what type of piece goes in it ; Ex. feet in feet, sockets w/ sockets, that kind of simple stuff. My Lego bricks are all mixed up in a bin that also has Tyco and Mega Bloks in it. Fun.

My favorite was the Zamor sphere launcher. It wasn't one piece, but rather one you could put together and customize. It got the job done and was better than some bulky Midak sky cannon.

Favorite Toa Mata/Nuva/etc form?
TechnicRage replied to Toa Of Anarchy's topic in Bionicle Discussion
I don't know why everyone is bashing on the 2008 designs; I love every mask that came out, exception of Gali (too masculine), and the concepts were great. It might be that the Mata doesn't have the nostalgia charm on me like it has on other people (started liking Bionicle in 2006), but the sets were still good (especially Pohatu Mata). I'd have to say a close battle between the two, but not the Nuva. Masks were ugly and the silver armor was gimmicky, and were rehashed Mata. -
This MoC has a certain charm to it that you don't see everyday. I love how well the colors mix. You use some black and gray sparingly, in a way that doesn't completely throw off the color scheme. I also like the little details you added in that makes this MoC what it is; like the glorified skirt or the sword hair (which is good NPU). My only complaint is the waist and how the skirt doesn't completely fill in all the inner workings of it, and it is exposed. Other than that, the MoC is great. Good work!

He doesn't really stand out compared to the others; as there is a better buy. As for a figure itself, it is fun and very playable(?). I wouldn't recommend him over others, but if you like Rocka, he's good.

The Barraki Mini-Movie. It had a good plot, fit into a small time frame with as much happening as possible, and Cryoshell.

Definitely an Energy Hound. I love dogs.

What's your collection of bioncle like
TechnicRage replied to tahukan's topic in Bionicle Discussion
I want a Prototype mask. Also a solid gold Hau. As for what I have, last I checked I have around 70 sets, including repeats ( 4 vehicles/titans ).- 246 replies

Barraki = Bomb diggity. 2007 was the best and most unique.

I got a little agitated when Phantom was like "burned" which really annoyed me so I wanted to clearly point out what I thought about the MoC and what could be improved upon. Oh, and I wasn't talking about air itself, but the colour displayed as it was what they [Lego] used.

BBCC 65: Blue and Yellow Macaw
TechnicRage replied to Steve the Squid's topic in Bionicle-Based Creations
This is magnificent! I love how you did the wings, it actually looks like feathers. The body is well built and the head looks like a true bird. Great job! -
Yeah, but this is Bionicle... is air green? But see, Ravens were not created by Greg Farshtey, or whoever created the thing that your logic displays. Dude, it's LEGO. No limitations to creativity. When I told him that Ravens were black, I did not think I was going to be bombarded with so much backlash. I was only being practical and realistic. I'm not going to enter a Toa and call it a bird and that you are not opening your mind up enough. I just thought it could use more black.
