  1. My heart is still set on a bionicle version of the Elder Scrolls games (more specifically Skyrim) lol
  2. Mind... blown... lol I looked up the definition for the fact awhile ago, but I never made that connection... and yeah, it was so much more cool when protodermis was this mysterious substance that no one knew anything about haha. ah the good old days...
  3. So, the Mask of Creation... does this mean we'll finally get a set of Artahka?
  4. Yay Akamai and Wairuha!!! I love those two, yes please let them be in the comics, they totally weren't explored very well in the real BIONICLE story, and I love any appearance of them (especially Akamai)
  5. They also gave Axonn and Hydraxon four fingers too for the record. Brutaka on the other hand had 5, and the Maxilos Robot had 3 (though it's a robot, not the best example to go by...) and they gave Teridax 4 fingers in his Metru Nui combiner model. Same with Toa Mata Nui (though he technically has a glatorian form)
  6. Looking from Lego's point of view; Why spend extra on the same mask without scope? Of course that's the realistic answer lol
  7. I'm assuming that the scopes are common among Akaku, if only for the reason that every single one that the Toa Mata collected had them haha (not to mention the Akaku Nuva, but those were made by Artahka, so he could've easily made those with special scopes)
  8. I reckon so... quite weird how that was thought through lol I always assumed that the Krana-kal could talk anyways because their respective Bohrok suits talked as well, I just thought that it was the krana talking through the machines haha
  9. Good day Cyrahk, how've you been? Got a question for you and Thulk; are the characters of The 1st Shadow's comics based off people in real life? I mean obviously his family members, and cousin are in the series, and the Marvel fan club are loosely based off their respective hero counterparts, but what about Lord Ghutan and Tiff and Rach? Are they based off of people in his life? Thanks!
  10. I love it I love it I love it!!!!!!!!!! I especially love the Ruru with the slashes(?) on it. That and the light blue Hau that has the silver design on it (which suspiciously looks like the Tree of Gondor lol) But man do I wish I had these...
  11. Aww that's no fun, where's the joy in speculating amongst ourselves if we can just go "look up the answer"? Haha jk I mean we could I suppose...
  12. Takanuva can just be the honorary member of every team -NotS Considering that he's the one and only Toa of Light, I suppose he is allowed to have that particular privilege haha... but he is known as the 7th Toa, so it's his job to break up the "rule of 6" Toa team gig lol
  13. It must the the Krana Za's responsibility to do that, since their power is telepathy. They're the one's communicating from Bohrok to Bohrok, while the rest of the Krana are busy doing their other work.
  14. I thought it was confirmed that krana (and through extension krana-kal) actually controlled the Bohrok because they were the means the Bahrag used to give information to the machines, plus the machines are guided by those "brains" and while they can work without them, they're more or less directionless unless programmed otherwise.
  15. I thought so too at first, but then the thought occurred to me that since the Krana are the technical brains controlling the machines, they might actually be diverse in slight ways... considering they are capable of independent thought outside of the Bahrag's influence.
  16. My mind tends to wander sometimes and I come up with random questions, so bear with me haha So we know about the Bohrok-Kal, and their "independent" Krana-kal, and that each one can use it's respective Bohrok to find the Bahrag. But I'm wondering, do the Krana-kal keep each other up to date on circumstances and events that each experience? Like say if a Za-Kal meets Kopaka, gets defeated and stolen from it's Bohrok then gets replaced by a Xa-Kal, would that Krana know about the Nuva, know the situations, the progress of the mission, etc? I know the Za can communicate telepathically so it's possible. Also, would the personality of the Bohrok-Kal change depending on which Krana-Kal is controlling them?
  17. Methinks they need to honor Matoro and not have a replacement. Takanuva could possibly be an honorary member, but he technically is already an honorary member of the Nuva, so we'd see how well that'd work out. But I don't feel like there should be a replacement personally.
  18. Either that or breathed like Darth Vader
  19. Course technically Hewkii is the only one who has the tube in his mouth, not his mask (mask of gravity for the win!) xD
  20. I've seen around online pictures of Takua and Hahli in 2001 matoran form, but I cannot recall ever seeing those two for sale anywhere. So my question is, were those two ever sold in that form, or are those just Jala and Maku with different masks on, and had their identity changed? Thanks guys.
  21. Definitely the Hau... I also love the Kraahkan for some reason (maybe the dual mask feature) but also I loved the Avohkii... there's just something special about it.
  22. Another idea that's already been used is masks that have covered eyeholes to shield the Toa's eyes from the environment (the Kaukau, and some of the Mahri's masks, and some of the adaptive armor) you could add a "sunblock" feature to dampen light just in case you're in a very very bright environment (no idea where that'd be exactly, maybe Karda Nui) Edit: That feature could help Onu-Matoran/Toa above the surface because they're sensitive to daylight.
  23. Well when he turned into a Hordika, Nuju's mask gave him the ability for heat sensing, so that'd be an interesting appliance for a mask (in case you didn't want telescopic vision per se). Also, for his adaption armor, Kopaka's mask gave him a laser sight as well, so in case you're a sniper that helps too. How about a Kraata protection? Not sure how it would be applied exactly, but one could have some sort of cover or something over the mask to keep the infection from the Kraata off (couldn't work with Shadow Kraata, but fortunately those are rare haha) Or maybe a breathing apparatus, so that you can use that mask in case you didn't want to use a Kaukau all the time, you could use the normal mask (say a Kakama for example) and can use it underwater for a time.
  24. Looks like someone had a busy summer lol so, who was the Tahnok-Kal headed guy? Didn't recognize him. Can't wait for the comics to start coming out.
