  1. I can totally see Ahkmou or any of the Shadow Matoran doing just that lol
  2. Well some vehicles on Spherus Magna, like the Skopio XV-I or the Thornatus V9 have substantial firepower. Other than that we haven't seen many vehicles in the MU so it's hard to compare... Hero Factory machines (like the ones they built to fight the menace from below), would pack a punch if used well... course a Toa of Magnetism could rip them apart easily enough...
  3. On a small tangent, I love how Exo-Pyro responds to different scenarios, like if you use a Mahiki and shape shift into him, he'll say different things in different maps, like in the ice land he'll say "it's too cold, let's heat things up" or if it's Ta-Koro, he'll say "I like it here, nice and hot." And so forth. Very well thought out!
  4. The enthusiasm is there... I just can't for the life of me think of any questions for Cyrahk... I try thinking of good questions so that there's a funny/interesting response to them, nothing cheesy or anything, but I'm drawing a blank.
  5. Interesting thoughts. Something like the liquid metal Terminator from Judgement Day, but made of fluid protodermis, perhaps? Kinda reminds me of the Destroyer from Thor, (I know he isn't liquid, but the way he moved and shifted his parts around at one point made me think of that) also, that guy was pretty immune to anything but his own power, plus his blast destroyed anything it hit.
  6. The way the clues seem to be going, apparently Tahu has the best means to defeat Marendar. Say that the "Salvation" can cut off Toa powers and masks powers. Tahu's golden armor doesn't count as either of those, so he'd still have a *huge* edge, depending on what abilities he absorbed from those kraata.
  7. And actually there was only one nuva cube (that was the "lock" of the Bahrag's prison) while there were 6 nuva symbols that held the essence of the Nuva's Elemental powers.
  8. Why would they wait until the Rahi was in the wild to attach the masks, when they have the Rahi available to put them on when first made? Seems rather inefficient. Especially since Kraata are sent out to infect masks already on them, not to put masks on them (Rahkshi would be needed for that, or Makuta doing it themselves; Kraata have no hands -- and fragile masks with destructive Rahkshi doesn't make a whole lot of sense, plus Makuta usually like to have servants do things). But we don't know, as I mentioned above, all the details of when and how they do it, nor how universally it is done. The Kofo-Jaga thing, though, certainly implies it's near-universal. Did you read my post above? The fact that they're animals is precisely why you'd want to: Animals are highly likely to get out of control, so having a contingency option in that case makes a lot of sense. It's similar to why Matoran wear masks -- so they can be removed if a Matoran glitches, putting them in a coma rather than killing them. (Plus Matoran masks could be infected too.) But if that's the case, how come only certain Mata Nui Rahi had masks? We never see the Lohrak have masks, or Krahka (though she's a shapeshifter) or Keetongu, or the Kikinalo, the Visorak, or any other except for those Makuta controls on Mata Nui. Besides, it wouldn't be hard to manually put masks on the Rahi, Makuta does have a Rahi control power, all he'd have to do is summon them to his lair, apply the infected mask and then release the Rahi with the more permanent controlling factor. And he had an entire year to gather the Rahi and then launch his "attacks" on the Matoran villages as per his agreement with Vakama. Also I'm quite sure the infection of masks wasn't supposed to be a good thing per se... at least not to bring sapient beings under the will of Makuta, so I'm pretty sure that the Rahi weren't made with Kanohi fitted on.
  9. Are Rahi actually made with Kanohi on them? I just thought that Makuta found a way to attach the infected masks manually and in the wild those Rahi don't wear any.
  10. 1) I would say no. There are a number of Rahi who would be too small (even microscopic) to wear Kanohi. Maybe things like protodites no, but I think one of Hapka's books had the Kofo-Jaga wear tiny versions of masks. Yeah I remember reading about that, totally unsure what to think of it haha I mean, where would he get those? Makuta don't make masks as far as I'm aware... and there aren't any tiny matoran...
  11. We're just fortunate then that Nidhiki was transformed before he could do anything nasty...
  12. Mental -- no, too late. Can't think with frozen brain. Internal (I guess you mean a built-in power that would auto-activate) -- I don't see why we would expect such a thing. Yeah, ice is awesome, and really cool. But that freezing option against a Toa of Fire only works if you ambush them, keep in mind (esp. Tahu, or Lhikan, having masks of Sheilding... actually, the Calix would help too). The other Toa helped distract Tahu so that would work, too, as I recall (though an ambush without help is certainly possible and fits Kopaka's style). Actually it is possible for a Toa of fire to "thaw" himself after being frozen. Vakama did it in one of the comics when Krekka froze him with a Kanoka disk, and Matau had to rescue him before he hit the ground and shattered. A little bit later, he breaks free stating that he finally was able to generate enough heat on his body to break loose. I'm assuming though that Kopaka's ice would be stronger than a Kanoka's (maybe the power level was low or something)
  13. Excited! Now if only I had a computer that is compatible... guess I'll be buying a new PC then.
  14. Well, all Makuta have the natural ability of Ice resistance... of course he lost that when he was Maxilos, which was why Matoro was able to freeze him underwater. And as far as Kopaka being OP, ice is *the* best way to incapacitate someone, (I mean, when you're frozen in a solid block of ice, there's not much you can do) the other can only hinder or harm the rahkshi, and the other Toa had to hold back to keep from killing them. Plus the Rahkshi got out of the ice eventually (thanks to the disintegrator). So all Kopaka did was buy the heroes some time, the Rahkshi weren't defeated until the very end (and that was *only* because they removed the Kraata from the Rahkshi after they were imprisoned in glass and frozen magma) If Kopaka had known about that earlier when he froze the three earlier the battle would've turned out much differently.
  15. Wow... I'm totally mind blown... those look amazing, especially Norik and Iruni, they look so close to the originals, while giving them human qualities. Well done I say. It's actually Zaktan. I'm still designing Vezon. (: Sorry, reminds me I still need to properly place a description beside each drawing. Wait? That's Zaktan!? Wow, I was trying so hard to figure that out, but now that you mention it, it totally makes sense... he looks really creepy too (I'd hate to meet him in a dark alley lol) So... I'm assuming the other one is Tarix (with the gold and blue armor?) aaaaannnnndddd.... nope I'm stuck who is the other 2014 character besides Darkness? (who by the way look absolutely amazing!)
  16. It depends on whether they determine the heroes as "alive" all they need to do is destroy the robot bodies while leaving the Quaza intact. As long as the Quaza is more or less usable, the hero isn't "dead" per se right?
  17. It'd be practical if you wanted to be a secret spy for the government or something haha
  18. That's actually pretty cheap for a shadow kraata, I got one for $8 so $5 isn't bad...
  19. Well, that's because it's solid gold lol
  20. The gold of 03-05 was more bronze than gold... I remember my disappointment seeing Lhikan in the magazines them saying "oh he's got golden armor" but then seeing sets and he's really more bronze... haha way to ruin a kid's anticipation lol
  21. Very very nice indeed! Head moves and everything too... great job... I wish I had your skills in this field... Plus the Tahnok is epic!
  22. In that case I'll make a swap... switch the mask of time to the Le-metru disk (555) I'll need that one for my Vahki lol
  23. Can you hold the gold Kraahkan and a Mask of time for me? Is the mask of time orange or gold?
  24. Well the 2001-2004 sets seemed to keep together pretty well... we made Toa Kaita all the time, and they never broke. That's pretty much all the advice I can give
  25. Are you referring to Karzahni and the Morbuzahk?
