  1. It looks cool. Love the blue color with the glow in the dark pieces. My only comment would be it seems the head is too far down. I think if the krana is gonna be the face, it should be a bit further up so it looks a bit more humanoid, (kinda like a Toa with a krana on his head) or something... but idk, it's really sweet looking.
  2. I'd like to buy a complete (or otherwise) set of McToran for a reasonable price. I'm looking for all 6, and they all don't need to be from the same seller. If you have any that you're willing to part with, let me know and we can work out a bargain. Thanks guys it would mean a lot.
  3. OOOOoooooooooo so excited!
  4. Pink is a manly colour! jk. I don't know, I think I'd like to see a neon pink Toa just for the fun of it all (maybe we can convince an Av-Matoran to use that colour... ) But yeah, not practically.
  5. Honestly methinks it'd be better just to disregard all barriers and problems and start over with each element being mixed gender like the Av-Matoran, if only just for the sake of flexibility with writing about certain characters and it gives one the freedom to create a character without having to resort to changing their element if they'd rather them be male or otherwise. (that's kinda what makes the glatorian and agori rather nice cuz it really doesn't matter what tribe they're from. Okay sure we only got Kiina (blue) but you know what I mean) But I'm sorry I digress. Plantlife had always been female for me and my family, so that's probably what they'd be in my fanfics
  6. It's funny, way back in the day, my older sister drew a pink version of Tahu Nuva (well, not exactly him, but that was her inspiration) and made her a Toa of Plants. That was waaaaaaayyyyy before we knew about Toa of Plant Life in the story, and it was quite cool. So yeah haha
  7. I got into BIONICLE after the name swap, so Matoran is all I've ever known them to be. So I'm going with Matoran.
  8. The various Dark Hunters killed by Airwatcher wouldn't be on the star, because Airwatcher uses his Acid Spear to disolve his victims so there wouldn't be a body left.
  9. BIONICLE is what made me choose my career path. I grew to love the characters and wished against hope that there were such things as biomechanical beings. I did research and learned of the robots of this world and how people can get biomechanical limbs and such, and that led to an interest in mechanical engineering for me. I have since graduated and am now looking for a career path that would let me explore those territories. All that thanks to BIONICLE.
  10. I don't know if Cordak projectiles are designed to fly through the air and move through water or whether there are variations, but in the comic "Hydraxon's tale" the artist drew the rockets with miniature torpedo propellers on the end. no idea if all Cordak are like that, but it's the most logical explaination for rockets that move quickly underwater.
  11. Fighting underwater in general is the problem here, and I feel like Hydraxon would have just as much trouble as the mahri (though probably less considering he's more experienced in fighting and being underwater). And I've already pointed out several other points as to why anyone fighting underwater would very likely have a lot of trouble. And it takes more than fancy elemental powers to be a hero, they had to use skill and pure fighting power as well or else they would've been overwhelmed for sure. Some of the toa's elements would've been hard to muster underwater anyway, such as Matoro, Jaller and (somewhat) Kongu. Not everyone was as lucky as Hahli. Actually Hydraxon wouldn't have much experience being underwater than the Mahri, because he was killed when the pit was submerged, and then was "revived" just a bit before the Toa showed up, and only then was he a water breather, but I'm sure he got some underwater training... who knows what the Order taught their members? Edit: @Rollout the point of those masks are for situations when Toa need them and don't have the Ignika to suddenly zap them into being water breathers or Artahka to give them special armor. Most Toa don't get those special effects so they use those masks when they're needed, (which is why a Suva is handy because it gives you many backup masks just in case you do need to fly or go underwater)
  12. It's quite amazing to think of exactly how large the Bohrok Swarms are... I mean, there are millions of those guys. If the Bahrag ever turned evil and let their army against the Matoran, they'd be in big trouble. But I digress... I agree is Bones with them being backup nests. I would assume that with the enormity of the swarm, the nests covered a lot of ground and those Onu-Matoran and their mining just happened to stumble upon them one day.
  13. You think they have problems fighting? what about Hydraxon and his throwing knives and boomerangs... both of which work perfectly well underwater, so just swinging swords and claws and sharp objects shouldn't be a problem for those guys... besides, most of the time they fought with their elemental powers (well the Barraki didn't but that's beside the point haha)
  14. Lewa still has a krana on... and Pohatu decided it has his turn to save him (let someone else do it for once Onua haha) Good job btw, looks swell
  15. Ah no wonder.. my computer has been having a bit of trouble with dA. hopefully it'll fix up soon
  16. Can't see the link like I used to Is it a different type of link or something? Stop motion is always enjoyable in my book (being a movie maker myself)
  17. Mata Nui beat him to it? Also Metus could have got more Skrall on his side... Maybe... all the same, the defeat of Tuma wasn't played right at all... Tuma was no dummy, he knew that eventually he might be defeated by chance or skill, he had seen enough battles to realize that, that is why he made the plan for Stronius to be his successor, in the event that he got beat and Metus took over. Even in the event of his defeat, he was trying to look out for his people.
  18. Interesting idea. I do have plans for the villains getting ahold of a powerful object from one of the sets, but it won't be until later. I'll give you a hint: the object was from 2006. And the question has been duly noted. Sorry for the delay, everyone. I intend to get back to comic-making asap. In fact, I'm going to work on another AC&T right now. Oh dear... I think I know what you're referring to... whoo boy lol that sounds like fun... and I'm looking forward to new stuff, plus the new season... I've grown to miss our beloved characters.
  19. I truly felt sympathy for the mighty Skrall Leader... the serials did a great job of expounding on his character, and yes the movie did a horrible job on portraying him properly. I feel that Tuma should've been given a grander defeat than what he had... all the planning and scheming and then suddenly boom, it's over. Also, Stronius was ordered to kill Metus if Tuma was ever defeated, what happened to that plan? It would've been an interesting plot twist (something Metus probably wasn't expecting)
  20. I had an apostrophe (either than or an epiphany)... at least an idea for your comics: What would happen if the characters (maybe Lord Ghutan or maybe a minor character) got ahold of the Olmak and they end up traveling a few dimensions... that way The Doctor could be in his element with "time travel" (if you pardon the term, cuz it wouldn't be exactly time travel, but he'd be hopping around a lot). What do you think? And here's a question for Cyrahk and Thulk: Who among the cast would they consider their closest friend? (aside from The First Shadow, being the host, he doesn't count)
  21. Well I'm a recent member, so this is my first Avatar haha.
  22. I'm interested in the Bahrag and the Exo-Toa... care to make a deal?
