  1. Then raises the question... who made the Heart of the Visorak? Gorast was the first to use it, but did Chirox make it, or did they "convince" Artahka to create it?
  2. Sure was. You just had to buy mask packs until you got one, which, given the rarity, might have cost you more than the Muaka set in the long run. But in that case you'd also end up with some really good masks like the gold/silver or many of the Toa's various colors. I'd say for a collector it'd be the better deal (unless you love tigers and bulls)
  3. He came out in fall, 2003 with the Rahkshi and Takanuva. The only buyable set of Teridax, the other being "Ultimate Dume" both are his "shadow titan form" that he uses when he isn't shapeshifted into another form. His "default" if you prefer.
  4. You mean there was a way to get it without paying an arm and a leg by purchasing the Muaka set? That's quite a shocker...
  5. Well in MoL Makuta basically reaches inside of himself and pulls 3 Kraata fully formed out, so it appears to be a very quick process and he can at least make three at a time, and it seems they form their shape inside his armor then he's able to alter his density and pull them out.
  6. Making a Piraka stop motion movie with the sets... that and playing "enslave the Matoran" with the 2006 sets before the Inika came out. Most fun ever!
  7. So everyone knows about the Visorak. The Stealers of Life, the Poisonous Scourge... created by Chirox on the Island of Visorak, named for the new species of Rahi. Later Gorast used the Heart of the Visorak to collect them all together and she made them into an organized horde. They then became the main backbone of the Brotherhood's army, along the Rahkshi, with Sidorak and Roodaka at their head. They traveled from island to island conquering anything in their path and cocooning any Rahi they came across. It was said that every single Rahi in Metru Nui was only there because they were running from the hordes. So my question is: what was the purpose of the hordes really? What did the Brotherhood see in the Visorak mutating and putting to sleep the very Rahi that the Makuta had created? Was that a part of the Plan, where Teridax thought that the Rahi could be put to better use if they were mutated and/or cocooned away until they were reawakened like he was planning with the Matoran? Or was it just the nature of spiders to seek prey and capture it, whether in the wild or not?
  8. Toy wise, it's just because that's the way they made the sets lol (the matoran always share the colors of their respective toa) Story wise, it's possible that the Matoran pods had various effects on the matoran. Either that or lack of sunlight lightened their colors (like skin growing more pale from lack of sunlight)
  9. "possibly"? Sheesh, sometimes I wish for a simple "yes or no" answer lol
  10. I like the way you think. It could be either theory personally, though I like to think that the Kestora are their own species not just "early Matoran". Gives them a bit more originality. I wish they appeared more in the story and we could learn more about them.
  11. The Phantoka canisters had those "covers" that could be used to make cave-like structures for the character to lurk behind (particularly the Makuta)
  12. They actually are amphibious, meaning they can breath both air and water. Oops  typo... I meant they're *now amphibious lol... sorry for the false information
  13. They look exactly the way they used to, breathing "gills" and all. But they're now amphibious because of Matoro when he wore the Ignika. They were sent by the OoMN to spy on a Skakdi force to see if they'd ally with Teridax and witnessed the creation of the golden fusion. They were then enslaved by the creature and became servants of the Skakdi. Once Annona attacked, the dreams of the Skakdi went wild and they were freed from the control of their captors and their current whereabouts are unknown.
  14. Which might have worked, except that the Shadowed One killed Ancient because he wanted to keep a secret. "A secret shared is no longer a secret" after all.
  15. It was a joke not meant to be taken seriously...pretty much like the entire article. I said that because Hewkii was not exactly a sight of beauty, at least in my opinion. Also, imagine being Macku and seeing your beloved Hewkii return as a Toa with other colours, weird chains hanging around and a strange looking mask. I imagine she'd at least be shocked. -Gata Well then, the natural cure would be to make Macku a Toa (who also looks odd) so they'd still be happily together lol
  16. Shteven... lol I think I've found a new favorite character
  17. Loved it! Though canon wise, I doubt that Kopaka would go so far as to kill the Krana... just seems kinda heartless knowing they're actually alive. But other than that... is there more? Love Kopaka and Pohatu together. BFF totally
  18. Well, it's one thing to feel that way about the Toa/Turaga/Matoran, but they aren't the only species out there... we've got the Vortixx, the Skakdi, Zyglak, and whatever species each of the dark hunters belong to, etc. I have a feeling there's gonna be quite a lot of variety around instead of being only two types of people so yeah...
  19. Ah okay. But what happened to that army that Pridak built during his time of freedom in the MU? Are we just assuming that Botar's replacement just whisked him away right in front of his army? Also, how would the Order know about the Island on Spherus Magna? They never lived there at all in their life, so I'm kinda confused as to how they'd already have set up a high level security prison. (sorry if I'm being nit-picky lol)
  20. I like it! Though in my mind it was too short lol Though, the Barraki were supposed to be amassing their armies in Spherus Magna, how'd they get captured by Hydraxon again? Also, is the Island he's taking them inside the MU? I thought the universe would be abandoned because of the blow to the head?
  21. Actually that's the original Furno canister
  22. If 2005 never happened, we'd never find out what baby rahkshi looked like. In all seriousness I enjoyed that storyline. It definitely developed the story of the Metru, and I found the venom mutation process fascinating really. Not to mention those really cool spinners we got to experience.
