  1. Armored protector at last... no idea who that's based off of, but I'll take it lol

  2. oh and very importantly: Tahu becomes a Nuva again, returns unity to the team who together end Velika's massacre. That would make a perfect ending lol
  3. I also think that if the Ignika never came to be, the GBs would never have gone along with the MU plan. So much in that universe depends on that mask, so it'd be really unsafe to try and do it without it.
  4. Your topic name suggests one thing, yet your question asks another. If the Ignika never existed, well, long story short, Mata Nui would probably have died during the Matoran civil war that took place, cuz there'd be no way to heal him. If he died while in space, it wouldn't take long before the entire population inside him died also.
  5. Well I like it. A few things stood out to me, but great job though. Mostly just spelling errors caught my eye, but in your dealings with Takadox, is it really possible to "counter" hypnosis and enter a being's mind that way? Also, I'm guessing you're making your matoran version having a very strong mind, because Takadox has extremely high powers of hypnosis, because the Pit increased what he already had. Just my two cents.
  6. One thing I might note, by this time, Takanuva was fully Toa of Light again, he cured himself in Karda Nui. Course it's a cool feature the Toa of Twilight fighting the Master of Shadows, but yeah. Good job.
  7. I think Mantax shouldn't have been let off so easily... Kalmah was infamous for his ruthlessness and his unfeeling, yes Mantax is a equally powerful Barraki, but all the same, I'm feeling that getting a sore neck out of the deal isn't nearly enough for him to reconsider doing it again. But all in all it was quite good.
  8. That's an interesting theory. Definitely worth considering. Mine would be involving Exo-Toa. They're said to be able to boost a Toa's strength and abilities, yet they seriously hamper their elemental powers. I think Exo-Toa absorb elemental powers as their "energy source". They're able to function somewhat without it, but it weakens them without a Toa rider. Which is why the Bohrok-Kal were able to defeat them so easily. So instead of using their elemental powers as a weapon, the Toa uses it to fuel the machine to give him/her an extra boost of strength and physical abilities.
  9. The Bahrag were created way way way early in the story, and there weren't any Toa of Light then, so it stands to reason that they were created some other way. But only certain Av-matoran have the destiny to transform into Bohrok, not every single one.
  10. That's the problem, they're downgrading from the masks that the Toa were using at the time of the fusion.
  11. ROFL! Ohhhh Jontor is gonna let him have it.
  12. I don't think that would be an issue, because I'm sure there weren't any Protocairns, Takutanuva or Rahkshi beforehand yet destiny has it to make those through EP... there's no reason why one couldn't have a golden Nuva mask just like the originals.
  13. Okay so everyone knows about the golden masks. The Toa Mata collected six masks for each of them, and then placed them into Kini Nui and received new golden masks for themselves that had all the powers of their original six, with stronger abilities and such. All this happened right before they descended into Makuta's lair. Yet some things about those golden Kanohi have me wondering. When they formed Toa Kaita, the masks the Kaita had were the combination of the original masks it's Toa counterparts wore. But each Toa was wearing a mask with 6 powers, wouldn't the Kaita just have a boosted version of the Golden mask? And also, even though all the golden masks have the same abilities it appears that their properties are dependent on their shape. When each of the Toa got theirs, they (conveniently) got golden masks that were in the exact shape as the mask they originally had. That probably was because of the sets and so you can tell who from who, but still... also, when they become Toa Nuva, they're wearing their golden masks, but when exposed to EP the masks change into a Nuva version having the power of the mask they're shaped as. I don't know, I just found that odd, story wise. Yes I know it's because of the sets, and it made the Toa have to collect more masks, and etc, but there must be a written code into the golden kanohi that even though it has a bunch of powers, Tahu's think's it's a Hau, so when exposed to EP it changes into a Hau Nuva, no extra abilities. Or something like that haha... what do you guys thing?
  14. Brrrrrrrrrruuuuuuuutaka! XD it's real fun to say the name like that. other than that... the Toa Mata's names are always classic... plus the "a" names (Vakama, Nokama, Whenua, Kopaka, Onewa, Onua, Lewa) you get the idea. xD
  15. The Akaku is actually the mask of X-ray vision. You must be referring to the Pakari
  16. So did Tahukan regenerate like the Doctor can? Is that what happened?
  17. So is Teri out of the picture too?
  18. I just had a thought, but the mask of mutation would be a totally epic mask to have... you could create your own army of X-men... and if any rebelled, you'd just shut off their powers with your mask again... bingo.
  19. Course, Alt terry could convince the new makuta to drain their shadow, so they're pure light like he is...
  20. Probably because the Rahaga were in the immediate story line at the moment, and they decided to give the fans a taste of what those beloved freaks once were.
  21. Well I knew about that... I was just thinking that maybe he was inspired a bit by irnakk, rather than being an embodiment of the creature.
  22. Well the Skakdi used the legend of Irnakk to make their people obey them kinda like "obey or Irnakk will come and destroy us all" kind of thing. He was their "great spirit" while the matoran served Mata Nui. (at least how the story goes). So that's why he was all bad and nightmares etc. This could be the way Irnakk was supposed to be... it does bear thinking about.
  23. I know, I always thought that it was gonna be Irnakk when I heard it was "golden" and had Skakdi origins, but I'm quite sure somewhere they said that it wasn't him... no idea where though, I could be wrong.
  24. So I'm pretty sure that it's already been established that the Golden being isn't Irnakk, but I found a few things interesting about him: 1. He makes dreams come to life, just like Irnakk can. 2. He was created by Skakdi (indirectly) who have Irnakk in their mythology 3. He was composed of 6 Piraka who had personally met a manifestation of Irnakk during their quest for the Ignika. 4. He's golden, which was a trait unique among the Skakdi of Irnakk. So my theory is while he may not *be* Irnakk himself, the EP gave the fusion the form and abilities somewhat like what the Irnakk of old had. Like maybe somehow destiny played out, that with the knowledge of Irnakk in the minds of the Piraka, and in the mythology of the other Skakdi, destiny played a card out and made Irnakk a proper creature, albeit not exactly him, like the Ignika could, but close enough, based on the materials it was given. Not sure if this makes any sense to you guys, but bottom line is, I'm not saying that Goldie is Irnakk, but rather a character based off of the legendary monster, created by the dreams of the Skakdi with help from destiny and a bit of EP. Idk there's just too many similarities between the two for it to be a coincidence right? You know the drill: questions, comments, rude remarks?
