  1. I think they just included the Rhotuka just because they were made from the combining of Hordika, and therefore it'd be really silly not to include the main function into the combo model (just like the Frostelus, although Biosector does state that since they are sapient, their powers do vary a lot). But the Gate Guardians weren't given powers, or the Chute Lurkers, or the Cable Crawlers even though they had Rhotuka in their sets. As far as the Protocairns' intelligence... it's kinda hard to say, but personally I think no. Biosector refers to them as Rahi (not necessarily a good point, but still) but considering their history of coming ashore just to tear apart the landscape, I'm not seeing a lot of intelligence.
  2. Thulk is rather adorable haha... I like how you got a transparent Miru for him... very cool indeed. At least he's there to keep Cyrahk in line haha
  3. Ah okay. Doesn't make a lot of sense, but... Rahi it is then.
  4. So, the total will still be around $10+$12?
  5. oh ouch.... sheesh I despise shipping and handling... bah humbug...
  6. how much for Lhikan and his ferocious beast?
  7. Is there any chance that the Toa Stars are still available?
  8. Hmm... no more than $10... and no less than $5 what do you think is a fair price?
  9. I'm on the hunt to buy a fairly reasonable priced Tahu and Takanuva Stars sets... hopefully either new or mildly used, no cracks or anything. If anyone is willing to make a deal, I'd be very glad to bargain.
  10. Cyrahk, something about your nature is bothering me... being a Rahkshi, how come you're allied with the good guys, and not with Teridax? or did Alternate Teridax create you? Oh, and question for Thulk; do you have anger management issues like your Marvel counterpart the Hulk?
  11. Well... another year, another birthday, another story to tell. :)

      Thanks Jag. :)

  12. A good theory, but those entities have already been given origin stories. The Sonic Entity was created by that mutated Lohrak that could make sonic attacks, the shadow toa were lifelike illusions created by Makuta as evil counterparts of the Toa. The only being we don't know 100% about is the Fire Entity, (biosector01 claims it's an elemental Rahi, but in the books, I believe that Vakama deduced that it was a version of himself should he ever lose control over his powers)
  13. You... certainly put a lot of thought into this haha... makes my head spin just trying to figure all those possibilities... lol But you do have some really good points. Very thought out I dare say.
  14. Well, technically he chose that form, once he absorbed enough Klakk to endure their shrieks. But again I digress... honestly I don't know what he'd do, the last Makuta in existence (not including alt terry) there's not many job offers for that title haha
  15. Aye, you do have a point there, Yaldabaoth... though I canceled Alt Terry from the equation cuz of his origin, and I wouldn't have considered Tahu, just cuz he doesn't have the genetic makeup of a Makuta, he just stole a bunch of Kraata powers haha But yeah, there's that pool... one can only hope that someone finds their way there... though I don't see any likely candidates. Velika? definitely not. The Toa? No. Order of Mata Nui? Definitely not. Dark Hunters? Also not likely. Course, Brutaka might, now that the universe is saved, he might be driven to bring the species back. Hard to tell. Or maybe Misterix might want more minions to rule, so he'd bring back his species... hmm ah well I digress haha.
  16. Oooo that's a toughie... I'd have to say Irnakk. (okay he's technically 3 sets, but he was a boxed character so it counts) A close second would be Zaktan. Gotta love the very first non-red villain leader
  17. In addition to my above post, I think I should add that I'd get along quite well with Nuparu (being an engineer myself it's only natural haha plus he was my favorite matoran growing up)
  18. No, Karzahni gave him a new Kanohi during his visit, (the Kanohi Calix, or Mask of Fate) so that's the mask he ended up with as an Inika (it was later changed by the Mask of Life when he became a Mahri) I know that, I'm talking about when he a Matoran, I'm was not talking about his Inika and his Mahri forms Oh my mistake. Jaller wore Lhikan's mask, which was a noble version of the mask of shielding because it was after Lhikan became a Turaga.
  19. Aww that's a shame... looks like it'll have to remain within head canon only. unless someone decides to re-write the story and change up a few things, I'm still hopeful that a Makuta is alive somewhere...

  21. So we all know of the Brotherhood of Makuta, and their ability to create Kraata from their own substance, and by extension create Rahkshi for their armies. I found it interesting that after the Makuta "evolved" they were able to solidify their own substance and give it independent life (albeit in complete servitude to the Makuta who made them) which gave me several questions to consider: 1. Can the Makuta in question actually choose what type of power the Kraata has when it is "born"? Or do they just randomize the 42 different powers that it could possibly have? I'm aiming at the being able to choose, if Teridax is anything to go by, considering it appears he didn't have to go through multiple Kraata before he got to the proper combination that he wanted to attack Mata Nui and find the Seventh Toa. 2. If the Makuta can solidify their substance and give them independent life, I'm wondering if they're in theory able to do that with larger portions of their substance, making sort of "Mini-Makuta" with more powers than Kraata and perhaps more intelligence (kinda like doppelgängers of themselves). I know it has never been done canon-wise, but considering all that the Makuta were able to accomplish already, it doesn't seem that much of a stretch for them. It'd be a clever way for a Makuta to "avoid death" if they created a double of themselves, and let that one do their dirty work, while the original stayed hidden, behind the scenes (it be a nice plot twist if anyone wants a particular Makuta to survive the genocide that became of their species.) 3. Given what happened to the Makuta, I wonder if after so many thousand years, if Kraata revert back into energy and just "fade away" needing to be replaced by another? Or can a Kraata remain in solid form for as long as they exist? That's about it, you guys know the drill... questions, comments, rude remarks?
  22. Actually it changed from gold to yellow when Jaller was wearing it (set wise at least, and it looked yellow in the movies as well) so I think it would change red like his Calix did. Wasn't the Calix he was given red already? Or do you mean if it was made as part of the set they'd change it to red? We don't know really. Matoran masks are painted though, so the color doesn't really matter methinks. Actually, I really have no idea what affects the color of the toa's mask... it seems to differ from toa to toa, like Lhikan's was gold, Tahu's was red, Norik's was Silver, Jaller's was a darker red (which altered to half orange as a Mahri)

  24. I'm quite certain that it would. I mean, if powerless matoran masks can be transformed into great masks by toa energy, I'm quite sure that a noble mask could change into a great version. you just need to boost up the power a bit. You know, a organic Hau would be quite potential... it could override the necessity to work around ambushes, because the mask could possibly sense when the ambush was coming and activate automatically... so much potential. (Side note: It's interesting that, if Karzahni hadn't swapped their masks, the Toa Inika would've ended up with the exact mask matchup as the Toa Mata to the very letter lol)
