  1. IC: Jayar / The Gym Jayar held his staff vertically now, preferring to avoid a repeat of last time, and thrust it forward at Short's foot, grunting at the diminishing but nonetheless present pain. If the action went as planned, the miniscule Rahkshi would lose his balance and fall over, and Jayar could pin him to the ground with his trusty staff.
  2. OOC: No, it's correct. Just concession is one letter away from concussion, which also made sense, so I wanted to clarify that it wasn't a typo. IC: Jayar / The Gym Jayar braced himself once again as he flew through the air, but that didn't stop the impact with the ground from hurting. A lot. Nonetheless, he remained conscious enough to set his quick healing powers on it right away, and the pain began (slowly) to subside. But there was no time to relax, for at that moment he felt Short's slowness power abate. Realizing that Short was going to land on his head, Jayar summoned the strength, grunting with pain, to roll quickly to his right, leaving the smaller Rahkshi to land not on his head but on the Gym floor. He proceeded to drag his recuperating body up and found himself standing next to the Rahkshi of Accuracy with the cowboy hat. Seems I just happen to meet Rahks who wear hats, he thought. Noticing that the newcomer was preparing to shoot Short, Jayar commanded him through clenched teeth, though not unkindly, "Thanks. But it's my fight." OOC: Late night post... hope there's no tired mistakes...
  3. IC: Jayar / The Gym Seeing Short's mace lying on the ground where he had dropped it, Jayar whipped his right arm towards it with every bit of speed he could muster against Short's slowness, which, given his normal quick reflexes, was considerable enough to knock it skittering across the floor and out of Short's reach. It landed at the feet of a nearby Rahkshi of Accuracy wearing a cowboy hat. OOC: That's you, ArcticFreeze. OOC: Do you mean concession or concussion, Toa of Dancing? Concussion makes more sense alongside 'beat his skull into the ground...'
  4. Thanks . Now I can continue my sparring session in peace.
  5. Where is Tridax right now, the village or the school? Can everyone hear his scream? Are we all supposed to come, or just the Wreck The Halls contestants? Seriously though, I'd really appreciate some help. I'm kinda new to this.
  6. Probably pan. If you have a set Kanoka, you'll see it's fairly thick. (Assuming you're not joking.)
  7. IC: Jayar / The Gym Jayar tried to thrust the blunt end of his staff into Short's stomach, but he found that he could only move at a crawl. It was not a good time to discover that Short's power was Slow. He wasn't going to be able to push Short away in time, so he braced himself as much as he could before the mace struck him in the jaw, hard. Grimacing in slow motion and mustering as his quick healing power again, though it would be a while before the pain relented fully, he continued his slow thrust at his attacker's chest in hope that it would dislodge his combatant.
  8. IC: Jayar / The Gym Unfortunately for Jayar, Short's mace smashed him cleanly in the chest, knocking him onto his back and winding him - but only briefly. As the little Rahkshi landed behind him, Jayar gasped in a breath, and felt his quick healing power flow through him. His respect for the tiny hat-wearer was growing. Before the tiny Rahkshi could hit him again, he pressed his feet together, activating his flight power and bursting forward. As he did, he drove his staff into the floor, causing him to rapidly spin around it, and facing the miniscule Rahkshi, he spread his feet apart and thrust the floored end of his staff back to gain speed, preparing to use his rerouted momentum to kick his opponent.
  9. Well, in-story a Toa is 1.6 bio tall. That corresponds to 2.192 meters. A set form Toa Metru is about 21 cm tall, and a set form Kanoka is 4 cm in diameter, so a Kanoka's diameter is 4/21 of a Toa's height. 4/21 of 2.192 meters is 0.4175 meters, or about 41 cm. That's a little larger than a large pizza. So, actually quite large, assuming my calculations are correct (and I've double checked them, so yeah) and set Kanoka are canonically proportional to set Toa Metru, which we can assume.
  10. IC: Jayar / The Gym Jayar watched with pleasant surprise as Short flew into the air, pushing off of the horizontal block. It was not going to be such an easy fight after all, which he preferred. He swiftly ducked. This would probably result in his opponent flying over his head, but it would also leave his back open for a spilt second, which Short could exploit if he landed on his feet.
  11. IC: Jayar / The Gym It took only another block, this time his staff horizontal, for Jayar to deflect Short's vertical attack. He followed it up by spinning his staff to the left, hoping to knock the mace aside. Though he could have swiftly kicked out at the smaller Rahkshi, he did not. He was going to fight a defensive battle, at least for now - he had no desire to injure his opponent.
  12. Make up a triangle. Sides are Illuminati confirmed. Conspiracy theories.
  13. The Kanoka Blade must only be impact- or thought-activated, not both. Otherwise hitting a Kanohi would activate it.
  14. Scare-Rahi Barraki who has no friends, only enemies he hasn't eaten yet
  15. IC: Jayar / The Gym Jayar swung his staff in front of Short's mace, easily blocking the lazy blow. Rather than striking back, he held his wooden staff aloft again, ready to block another attack.
  16. The Kanohi Dragon was in Ta-Metru, right? Not much water there, Kadin makes more sense.
  17. Every supervillain also needs an archenemy. Who is Phogen's?
  18. I can't help but notice that if Phogen's group is like the Brotherhood, then that makes her Teridax... And we all know how he treated his 'comrades' in the end...
  19. This also brings up the question of just what some Kanoka disks even do. What happens if you hit someone with an Elda disk, for example? Or a Calix? Would a Mohtrek disk summon a past version of whatever it hits? What about the a Disk of Conjuring? A lot of the powers really don't make sense in Kanoka.
  20. IC: Jayar / Hallway "An apt name." said Jayar. "I'm Jayar." The duo arrived in the Gym. Finding an unoccupied area in the large room, he held up his staff in a defensive position and called to his tiny sparring partner, "Attack me when you are ready."
  21. IC: Jayar / The Refactory Jayar contemplated the challenge. He didn't really want to fight the tiny Rahkshi, but if he refused, it might drive his aggressor to even greater rage. And it wasn't like he would lose. "No, I accept your challenge," he replied, as he grabbed his wooden staff from the table where he had set it down to eat and stood. From a standing position the small grey Rahkshi looked even more miniscule. "Come," Jayar said quietly, starting for the door alongside his challenger. "Tell me, what is your name?"
  22. Has computers in the library, on which Rahkshi play a text-based RPG about a human high school. School
  23. I can see him going a Vakama Hordika route, from struggling with the darkness inside, to letting it take over, and finally conquering it with a friend's help... But then, it's your character. Do what you want, and just have fun with it.
