  1. Well I saw a bundle pack at a Freds once not too long ago that had a Hero Factory movie in it with a set and something else I cannot quite remember. That was weird with how long Hero factory has been out of circulation. Though what do I know...
  2. Yeah not sure how I feel about this one. Other than the build being basic as far as Protectors go, The simple color pallet doesn't leave much depth. Though the Mask being Toa Kopaka's could be a turn off form me for personal reasons and has nothing to do with the MOC itself. Do you have many of the sets to work with?
  3. While your reminding Toa Kapura about the previous trade option does not directly break this rule, and could influence is choice if Fishers64 does choose to make that route and they trade. Any Trade will not be honored unless it involves the player who's turn it currently is. For fairness and respect for each player. While you may offer your own properties or widgets to the current player(Fishers64), only they can actively trade with other adventurers. Until what time as they post the ==END TURN== Tag. Do not fret however as your turn will come up soon... .
  4. Well you would think that the only reason Greg would have seen these bibles was if he was involved somehow. Otherwise why show them to him to begin with? That's like saying I have no involvement in my company's new branch yet somehow got my hands on their shipping logs. Something is off there and we all know it.
  5. You know what I take from that quote is that there are apparently character/Story bibles out there for Gen2 and Greg has gotten ahold of them. Yet claims no involvement in Gen2. We think there is an error in this logic. Like somebody does want to spill the beans. I don't want to discredit Greg but as far as I know he is human and humans can lie to keep something secret. By phrasing it as an opinion with "I think" leaves a loophole to be exploited in such a manner.
  6. So Say'ith Bones the resident Bionicle Expert... . Anyway I have to agree that water can appear over powered while in an aquatic setting. In the story this is true of every element user while surrounded by their element. The Term, "Over powered" is usually used when somebody dislikes the advantage someone or something gets over them. Thus why a balance is hard to find. It is as simple as that. In a purely aquatic environment Water has a steady lead in the power department. However that same advantage becomes a crippling disadvantage in a desert or volcanic setting where water supply is very scarce. The reason for this topic was originally about a purely aquatic Bionicle RPG and not so much actual story. Though let's not let that sway any further discussion.
  7. Yeah I could See Makuta being redeemed at the very last second after he is completely alone in the universe because he had killed/destroyed everything but himself. "gee I guess I didn't think this plan completely through. Who am I going to oppress when nobody to oppress? Guess I could oppress myself but that is an illogical puzzle as NOBODY OPPRESSES THE MAKUTA!!! Even the Makuta!"
  8. Underscore: --- (910 Widgets) --- (Proto Tax Space) Properties:(2)(North way Chutes)(North Carolina Avenue) Very well Underscore. The bank shall retain your 200 widgets. Though I guess I could tell you that had you picked the 10% option your taxes would have only been 161 widgets saving you a small 39 widgets. Also I noticed that you had changed your name. It would appear that Mata Nui has been wanting more tribute from his Adventurers. Fishers64: ---- (1200 Widgets) --- (Tennessee Avenue). Properties:(5)(Baltic Avenue)(Connecticut Avenue)(St. James Place)(Tennessee Avenue)(Ventnor Avenue) Fishers64, maybe Mata Nui will be kinder on you than he has of some of your prior companions. If you are ready to continue you roll is: Make your way down the path until you see the North Way Chutes on the horizon. This is your destination and it is currently owned by Underscore. If there are any properties you may want from one of your fellow Adventurers now would be the time to barter with them. Or you may simply end your turn. May I recommend New York Avenue owned by Toa Kapura to complete a Koro. Though I suspect it may not be cheap to do so.
  9. Most likely a foam rubber or other light weight material that keeps movement restrictions to a minimum.
  10. Yeah when the 2015(not really since this has been in the works for what 2years now?) team were doing when deciding how the Toa and alike would look they did research into the Gen1 designs. So it is not outside the realm of possibility that the story and artist teams seen such symbols an carried them over. More Proof for the Gen 1-2 conspiracy theorist. Come to think of it have we had any new topics/posts about Gen 1 and 2 being connected or has the community at large finally accepted that just maybe they are not. Making Gen2 more of a retelling of Gen1 rather than a continuation or prequel.
  11. Cosmonaut? You do realize that both those astronauts were American, right? Also, you say that like it's a bad thing. Some of the most crucial steps in early space exploration were performed by cosmonauts. Anyway, it's something of a condition I have when writing science fiction. I really don't like it when science fiction blatantly disregards established science and would rather not take creative liberties for the sake of being cool or dramatic. But working on a smaller scale it's not as much of an issue. Being set on the moon it would be easier to incorporate actual science without any interference with pacing. Actually I though that was the politically correct term for a space man. My apologies if I got the lingo wrong. The Word fiction I would think would allow for freedom of expression in that regard I would think. It is not like you were writing science fact. Though I guess in your case that may actually be the case. True the Moon is naturally the first stepping stone to exploring the Solar system, then the Galaxy, and finally the Universe as a whole. I don't see why an RPG could not in theory start there and then develop resources to expand to the other planets. There had been talk of using passing comets and asteroids as way stations for intergalactic travel. Once we learn how to harvest the raw materials from such sources. As for the Stargate RPG I am afraid I cannot weigh in as I have never actually watched any of the episodes. Please don't stone me...
  12. I would sell tickets.... If you had but one chance to defeat Makuta but it meant destroying the MU...
  13. Well based on the image I would say that basically where the "holes" are located or the bars for travel. I don't think they will release multiple types of mazes for this unless it sells real well and they want to have expansion packs. Also I think the customizing officially is for the consumer with their own spare legos. For example removing some of the flat plates for that Dragon castle set. Or if you have them a Ninjago themed one. Be pretty Cool. I'm down for a new Jurassic Park themed maze.
  14. == Le-Wahi - Le-Koro Village - Below Central Square == == On my way back to Toa Adamas == OOC: Po-Matoran Doseki IC: Doseki had retrieved his gear from the Turaga's Hut and made his way back to the lift. This time however he didn't feel like waiting for it so he just jumped over the rail to plummet to the platform below. With a strong thud he landed hard just shy of where the lift would have stopped had he bothered to wait for it. Doseki's legs and feet would not thank him for that stunt later but right now there were more pressing matter to attend to. Walking slowly back to the small group Doseki addressed the Toa of Crystal. "Alright Toa Adamas. I am ready if you are." Doseki had his climbing gear and his pack secured to his back via the straps over his shoulders and even one that came around his waist. His Climbing claws were both holstered on his back and his Kolhii stick was firmly in hand. Doseki looked like a right oh hiker with a roll of rope on either side of his hips finishing off his attire. "Well let's go. Show me where my Nui-Jaga is if you please."
  15. Arrg I say we make her walk le plank and send 'er to the depths of Hydraxon's locker to be Taka bait.
  16. How big is the set in question? I mean it is a small marble maze game or a large on? If it is small I don't see why it would exceed the $50 bench mark. Mind you the whole thing is made from Lego bricks so who knows...
  17. Sorry for the delay in a reply guys... JAG18: -------- (0824 Widgets) --- (Chance2). Properties:(2)(Atlantic Avenue)(Pacific Avenue). You'll get your widgets back soon enough JAG18. I don't think you'll miss them for long. Underscore: --- (960 Widgets) --- (Kini-Nui) Properties:(2)(North way Chutes)(North Carolina Avenue) Underscore if you are ready let's see where your travels take you this day. Your roll is: With the time on your side are your close proximity to <<-GO it is time to move on down the road. Wave goodbye to the good Matoran of Kini-Nui and make your way to the Proto Tax Space. You may pay 200 widgets or 10% of your total worth. You did just earn 200 widgets for passing <<-GO so if you'd like you may just use it to pay the tax. Though sometimes 10% is the way to go. While you are deciding you may use the rest of your turn as normally allowed. However keep in mind that the taxes will get paid prior to any other interactions. So if your widget count changes due to a purchase or trade it would not effect the 10% value of your worth for means of the taxes.
  18. There would be a lot more of the rarer elements Matoran running around. If Hydraxon imprisoned you in the Pit.
  19. That is the back of them, it's a plate to hold his crack closed. Also they are ghosts. He is a ghost yet has a crack in it? Anyone besides me think there is something wrong with that picture?
  20. Well if it is a jewelry type course then how about a ring to go with your new neck bling? Could be of your favorite element. Then if you had the material embed something like a small Toa stone in that color?
  21. I suspected as much, that's why I thought it was strange when you depicted her "older" in your V2 pic. I think I have to agree though Sailor's depiction while an improvement to the proportions they go a bit too far in the other direction. While increasing the hips the waist is neglected. That or she is wearing a very tight corset under her swimsuit. With the rest of her build being "fit" it wouldn't really make sense that her waist wouldn't expand as well due to muscles as well.
  22. That is why they killed them all off. Well most of them anyway.
  23. Ah Very cool little set. Maybe this could be where the Corvette stingray I seen on Lego Ideas could fit in. Though I guess TLG would have to get endorsements for it like they did with Porsche, Lamborghini, and whatever the 3rd one was. So B6 is doing this one huh? First thing I noticed was that his watch was on his right hand. Does that mean he is a fellow southpaw? By that I mean that I am left handed and as such leave my watch on my right. Speaking of the watch it looks as though he filmed this video at around 8:30 as that is about the time he started actually building the set. No idea of it was morning or night because if the watch being analog with the two hands. Also I should mention that while you can see both types of hub caps in the video I thought it was funny you kept picking up two of the same kind. I have to ask, what is with the backing pans? I mean did you plan on putting them in the oven on 350 and waiting 30min for the car to make itself? Ok I am done I think... So what is that tool you are using that looks kind of like a pen or a sculpting knife? Sorry I just seen you use it several times but with the time dilation it is hard to tell what you are doing with it. Also it looks as though it took you about 15 minutes to build. Not bad... The Set looks cool and if I was into Porsche maybe I would get it though I am looking for a set that has a passenger seat in the real thing to have one in set form as well. The Indi cars get a pass because they are one-seaters, but these sports cars typically have a passenger seat. While yes it would drive the price up from the $15 USD I think it would be worth it. Nice Review just the same B6.
  24. Yeah I think I have done that a time or two. Though posting in a topic I wasn't allowed or forgetting what topic I was in while posting has happened most recently.
  25. I have several that are still in really good condition. Come to think of it I think 2001 is the only year I have masks from. Unless my few Krana are '02.
