  1. Okay, so we know that Bohrok can throw their krana at anything that uses a Kanohi, and thus make them one of their mindless janitorial army. Sometimes they plow along with their mission, other times they use a few krana to mind-control whoever's in the vicinity. We've only seen this used on Matoran, Turaga, and Toa. But! They're not the only things that use Kanohi. The original Rahi wore infected Kanohi that Makuta used to mind-control them. When said masks were knocked off, the Rahi would return to its senses and typically run from its foe. Now they have a lovely empty slot for a mask. Or krana. So what would happen if an enterprising Bohrok launched a couple krana at, say, a big honkin' Muaka? Stories, headcanons, and plot-hole-discoveries are all welcome. -Jaga
  2. Ever wondered why they call that one cleaner "Kaboom"...? *squirt squirt KABOOM* My mask.
  3. My sincerest regards to our benevolent overlord of the G&T forum. (Translation: Happy birthday!)
  4. (IC as Agion, Engineering) --My, that's... gruesome. So that's why people talk about what happened to the last intern...-- "The facility is broken, isn't it? And we have a bunch of angry cultists outside our door. If we fix the facility, we can bring the Infinite system back online. Who knows what we can do then--it can heal us, maybe revive the fallen fighters, maybe even turn the system against our foes and use it to kill them, the same way it kills the fighters who run out of lives. If we get that working, holding our ground against these sorcerers shouldn't be a problem at all. "Send me on a quest for materials or whatever you need. Spy on their technology and steal some for you to work your magic on. I can be as stealthy as I need to be--" I turned my arm into a Nui-Jaga pedipalp for effect-- "After all, they won't suspect just an average Rahi. So just tell me--tell us--what to do, but don't say nothing then complain when the cultists have your head on a pole." (OOC: I'm quoting things now because it makes it much easier to keep track of posts. Do you mind?)
  5. Out comes Wrong, for might does not make right. In goes 1 divided by 0.
  6. I hire a monster to steal the mask and then hide in a five-year-old's closet. Monster's mask.
  7. To minimize the face-being-deformed factor of being hit with a basketball full of sand, could you fill one half with sand and half with air? Like how you sometimes do with water balloons?
  8. Out comes a giant Piraka eyestalk that doubles as a television. In goes a crummy game controller.
  9. But you make it sound like it's a bad thing.
  10. If it's moddable, I'm in. If not, there's this: http://store.steampowered.com/app/250340/ I've always felt that these big honkin' sandbox games would be perfect using Legos instead of voxels. If I can tinker with it to mod in all the Portal/Quake/Bionicle/Pokemon goodies I want... well.... (insert evil genius maniacal laugh here)
  11. Next thing ya know they'll be selling Akilini equipment...
  12. Not to sound like a condescending jerk, but: I follow this person's comics on DeviantArt, and she's done a few tutorials on drawing in general. Hope they help. Not exactly helpful: http://sulfurbunny.deviantart.com/art/Digital-Painting-Tutorial-529301728?q=gallery%3Asulfurbunny%2F35706383&qo=44 More helpful: http://sulfurbunny.deviantart.com/art/How-to-Draw-Absolutely-Anything-529705066?q=gallery%3Asulfurbunny%2F35706383&qo=36 Also, which mask is the one on the right?
  13. (IC as Agion, knowledge sector >>> engineering) --Dangit, Agion, what are you thinking? Engineering has nothing but scrap to build from and you're stuck on this island. You want a mech? You might as well try to grow wings.-- --An interesting thought, that, I thought to myself. My other mental voice groaned in frustration. --Can you be serious for once?-- --Give me a situation that remotely makes sense and I'll give you my serious side, I countered. Another groan. Apparently there WAS a way out of the facility. I thought we were stuck in this sealed cube with a giant arena in it. Not so, as some fighters had made it outside into the world beyond. Some took the obvious route of locating a hole in the wall and going through it. I was looking for more subtle passages I could use to escape once I was out of immediate danger. In order to get to that relative safety, though, the whole facility needed repaired... apparently. The very thing that was keeping me prisoner was the very thing I had to fix to save my life, and who knows how many others. Oh, the irony. Or I could just stay. That would be simple. I could disguise myself as a normal Nui-Jaga and live like an ordinary Rahi, and in all probability the inhabitants would leave me alone. --And are you just going to leave the rest of them there? said my voice. --If you're trying to make me feel bad about ditching a bunch of violent psychopaths it will not work.-- --Is that what you think about Aeolus?-- He did get me out of the med bay, that one time... If we were going to have any shot at survival, we would have to work together. Team up. Make allies. If anything, find what on earth needed fixing with the place. I knocked on the door to Engineering. "Hello? I'm looking for the chief engineer, Dreisen? I'm Agion. I'll help in any way I can." (OOC: Looking for adventures and trying to talk to Dreisen. What exactly does need fixing in the facility?)
  14. I flatten you with a stampede of Mahi goats. My mask.
  15. (IC as Agion, commercial sector >>> knowledge sector) I let out a hiss of displeasure. My quest to make a grappling hook hadn't gone well at all, and now everyone else was out fighting. Annoyed at life, people, and this whole dang place, I headed off to the library. Maybe I could scavenge up some useful information there. People had done some talking about mechs--maybe I could get my hands on one. But nothing big and bulky; I was slow enough as it is. Something fast. Insanely fast. That vision in mind, I flipped open a couple of books, searching for information on these mechs. (OOC: Agion is in the library, open for interaction and finding useful mysterious tidbits of information.)
  16. I make a chicken pot pie and slap you with it. My mask.
  17. eheheheh the only stylistic revisions I make are when I forget what the original is supposed to look like =P The armor looks cool with those patterns on it.
  18. Bionicle fans: a mix of people, half of whom are rabidly devoted to canon, and half have nothing but blatant disregard for it. (I'm part of the latter group =P)
  19. Maybe Swimmy's going to take over an Bohrok. Or an Exo-Toa. Or maybe the Matoran Universe.
  20. The pool blows up with more force than a nuclear missile. Now you see why I don't play FNAF... I pour in some more protodermis and throw in a fountain pen.
  21. Being Greg's favorite won't save you now, Vezon...
  22. Alas, Teridax... you could have been such a great villain... That's one of the reasons I REALLY love MNOG. At that point, Makuta was still Mata Nui's brother, story wise. I could easily see Teridax getting jealous of his brother and lashing out at him and his creations. To me, the whole fight between Mata Nui and Makuta was a sibling rivalry between gods, spun horribly out of control. (Come on, don't act like you haven't wanted to completely and utterly beat the turducken out of your siblings once) Then we had the Phantoka where we learned there were actually tons of Makutas, and Teridax seemed to have been reduced to this petty schemer wanting to take over the world.
  23. Funny you should mention Ahkmou... Anyhow my headcanon for him (which I need to write. Do pester me into doing so) involves his redemption. Because to me, he seems like he always wanted to be a Toa hero but always missed out on becoming one, so he turned to working for Makuta instead. Anyhow no. 2: I think of him being redeemed by someone close to him sacrificing themselves to save his life. That seems like the heart of redemption, isn't it? It isn't the fact that suddenly a character turns around and starts doing good deeds; quite so, only the people that knew him would know how he had his change of heart. It's the fact that someone believes he's worth saving. You are correct, Mr. Farshtey, in saying that a good villain is a villain for a reason. But the greatest villains are the ones that could turn around, that could be saved, but turn their backs on the opportunity. That's what makes a villain powerful, potent: Because we know that they're so close to being normal, to being like us. -Jaga
