  1. I'll fix that after the round, then... anyway in that case I say you just dodge the pillar and carry on with your attack. I think the hole in the roof should stay there, though. (And I don't have any nefarious plans for it) Also the pillar had taken a pretty nasty beating from the fireballs already, so it would take less strength than usual to knock it down.
  2. BS01 says Nui-Jaga can break rock with their claws. I figured Agion would have that level of strength as well. And I thought him being slow and using a cane would balance it out. But yeah, with Haarnak sucking the heat out of everything, he would be weaker than usual... oops.
  3. Agion just made you a lovely hole in the ceiling. Now you can go outside and have a sky battle.
  4. (IC as Agion) Cold. I feel so cold in a rotten FURNACE, for crying out loud. My cloak... I want my cloak. But HE'S there. I doubt he'll give me the time to clamber up the broken catwalks to fetch it. It isn't that far to the broken pillar. Fortunately he doesn't seem that interested in mowing me down with his rifle, but the metal of the pillar is still burning. Hot. Lovely, glorious heat. If someone could turn heat into a liquid and bottle it, I would make them a millionaire. But enough of the heat. The dying embers of the steel send life into my limbs as I crack my knuckles. Time to get to work. I pummel the pillar again and again. Slowly, cracks begin to appear in the concrete base. I'm giving it everything I've got, crushing the material with my claws and aiming my punches toward the Toa of Fire. One more shove and it breaks free, tearing a jagged hole in the ceiling and falling into the Toa's path. Rubble and dust rain down from the sky. (OOC: There, you have a hole in the ceiling. Go hither and have a battle outside the Furnace.)
  5. (IC as Agion) "Now, let's have a proper duel, shall we?" I grinned. Now that he had finally landed, I could land some very painful hits on him. I prepared my launch--uninjured arm on my cane, focusing all my poison into my stinger's blade. He was some ways away, but I could clear the distance easily with a leap. Then I felt it. The first wisp of a cold wind. Being drawn towards the Toa. My hiss grew into a roar of anger as I pushed off my cane, throwing myself at the Toa. The single thought that dominated my mind was running him through with my poisoned blade.
  6. Hey, did I KO Haarnak or did I miss a post... or something?
  7. (IC as Agion) --Dangit, why won't he shut his little...-- My usual venom ball had proven ineffective and I was getting tired of being pinned down under rifle fire. And unless he was on the ground, I had no other method of hitting him. But then again, maybe I didn't need to. Darn it, if I could just find some way to put my poison to work! During a few fights I had fought with other Rahi, we found ourselves near lava lakes controlled by the Ta-Matoran. One of our tactics was to push trees and whatever plants we could find into the magma. They would ignite, and the smoke would work to confuse the guardsmen. Sometimes we would push trees infested with poison ivy into the flames, adding a toxic element to the smokescreen. And that rifle of his. Surely all those fireballs flying around had to be obscuring his vision? But not too much--he could still pick out my shape to fire on. And he could see the venom balls I threw... maybe he wouldn't notice if I tossed one that wasn't aimed at him. I noted the fireballs were coming a little to the right side of the rapidly decaying pillar. I turned around to my left and threw my orb--but not at the Toa. It arced gently, gracefully, into the path of the fireballs. As soon as it hit them, it would ignite, burning into a dark cloud of toxic smoke.
  8. (IC as Agion) I tumbled head over heels down the falling catwalk, landing on another one. I took the time to play dead and rest a little, hardly moving so no one would notice me. Gradually the huge weight on me seemed to lessen. That Toa... I had no idea what power he had. The closest thing I'd felt to it was when I got a little too close to Nuhvok-Kal. --He must be focusing on something else, then, I thought, opening my eyes. I couldn't see him anymore. Which was fine with me, I had more injuries than I'd ever racked up on Mata Nui, and one less foe was music to my ears. I tried twisting to pick up my faithful, mangled pipe but gasped as pain tore through my shoulder. That one guy must've had a potent weapon. Gingerly, I reached over to my wound with my stinger. A stickier, thicker venom flowed over my palm. Normally it would be used to make a Jaga nest, but that took time and a lot more venom. Instead, I rubbed the concoction around my shoulder, coating it thoroughly. Webbed veins appeared in the stuff as it dried, hardening into a makeshift cast. It wouldn't hold for long, but now I could move my arm without the headsplitting pain. I grabbed the pipe and climbed down a ladder to reach the floor of the chamber. Another venom-ball materialized in my hand as I darted behind a pillar.
  9. (IC as Agion) The pipe... the pipe... my gosh it felt so heavy, now. I felt heavy. All of me, suddenly anchored to the ground. Who was this in front of me? Another Toa? When would it end? Out of here... I needed out of here. Three people on me at once. Too... much... --No! Not yet! Don't give up!-- I felt so heavy... the catwalk groaned under my weight. What? Groaned? The noise cut through the exhaustion and pain like a knife. I still had the pipe and my claws. I gripped it and smashed the floor. Again. Again. All three arms putting their strength into the blows. Finally, it let out a mighty creak and gave way, and I slid to the layers of walks below.
  10. Oops, my bad. Well, I guess he deserves getting shot, then... (IC as Agion) This fight was nothing more than one disaster out of another. First the flying Toa. Now me tripping over someone else... I think. All I saw was a shadow as I hit the floor. He seemed to materialize for a moment, and I saw another gun. Looking me straight in the eye. A spasm of survival shot through me as I rabidly kicked, punched, all my limbs flailing at once. It avoided my head... narrowly. It felt like someone had stuffed a stick of dynamite in my shoulder. There was no avoiding the pain, I let out a savage scream and kept fighting the floor, the air. In one desperate moment of clarity, I swung the piece of pipe I still held where I had tripped, hoping to connect with something. (OOC: Agion is on the ground, trying to hit Tirkah, who may or may not be invisible, and is a hazard to anyone else in the vicinity.)
  11. (IC as Agion) What the heck... he can fly? Definately not Tahu. The cover will protect me for only a few moments more. Time to run. He should have a hard enough time hitting me... he's moving, firing projectiles at a moving target and aiming around a pillar. --Forget the cane. Just run and hope you don't trip. And, oh come on... who's this?-- Another figure blocked the middle of the steel catwalk. I couldn't stop. Stopping would mean the end of me. But maybe I could get him to fight my fight for me. The shots were lining up closer now. I could feel sparks fall around my feet. This would need absolutely perfect timing. I grabbed the figure by the shoulder and heaved behind me. If a couple of shots landed on him, he might forget his own battle and attack my tormentor. (OOC: Agion grabs Tirkah and tries to throw him into the path of the rifle shots.)
  12. (IC as Agion) I let out a yell as my back felt like it was on fire. Miniature explosions, like fireballs, hammered into me--I couldn't count how many there were. They all seemed to meld into one scalding burst. I hugged my cane, trying not to fall. --See? I told you to go after them and you just sat there-- "SHUT UP!" I bellowed at the voice in my head. I didn't have time to waste now. But he had used heat. I could deal with fire, with heat. I had lived in the Charred Forest, for crying out loud. Cover... I needed cover. The catwalk connected to a concrete pillar nearby and I gave two pushes of my cane, sliding behind it. There. Now I could think. A bright red figure stood further up in the chamber. Tahu. I would bet ten widgets that was Tahu trying to kill me. But what was he holding? Some sort of crossbow? No... that wasn't right. It was elongated, and glowed red at the tip. He was channeling his power through a gun. And it looked like he was winding up for another shot. Makuta take me if I let him take it. I clenched my third fist, venom seeping into my palm. I rolled it around into an orb, aimed, then threw it with all the strength I had. (OOC: Agion throwing a venom orb at Haarnak.)
  13. Just wondering, but did Lego ever make sets based around Star Wars: Republic Commando? I love that game. (And if they haven't, they should =P)
  14. (IC as Agion, in the arena) --What madness...?-- First I had woken in that cold, dreary room. Now a wave of heat washed over me. Glorious, pulsing, Ta-Wahi heat. My eyes were shot through with the yellow glow of flames, my brain shook off the fog the cold had cast around it. I felt alive. More alive than ever. But no, this wasn't Ta-Wahi at all... a metal room, full of machinery and catwalks, full of beings all locked in combat with one another. Fighting? Why? --Just do it...-- --What on earth is this?-- --It doesn't matter! Just go! Lunge! Posion, dagger, crush and claw!-- --Get out of my head!-- --GO! TOA!-- Toa. The room was full of them! Had they seen me? Were they coming after me? --Don't think! Just finish them!-- I threw off my cloak, suddenly regretting not grabbing my cane. Oh well... I wrenched off one of the more damaged pipes off the catwalk and crimped the edge, before pounding it into the floor and shoving myself forward. My heavy claws were out and I felt the familiar weight of my stinger. And there I stood, watching the chaos rain around me, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
  15. Holy cow, the round just began yesterday and there's already two pages on top of it... I am behind on my game. Agion's IC posts should be coming soon, so bear with me here. Let me know if you have any particular characters I should go after.
  16. What? You have nothing to throw in? Very well... in goes a Sandvich and a grapefrüt.
  17. Alas, he is destroyed... In goes three pieces of bacon and a rabbit.
  18. I throw you in a room of monkeys where "Agilao" is the worst insult possible in their language. They punish you accordingly. My mask.
  19. I kindof want to be in the next round but I don't know how said rounds work... oh well I'll figure it out as I go, I suppose. I'd like to sit and watch but I also don't want to lose a life so... Agion is in.
  20. (IC as Agion, Comfort Area) I had gone over my cloak and cane three times. No poison or traps anywhere. A booming voice out of nowhere was speaking about mechs? And an arena? What in the name of my creator was going on? This place... it was a puzzle. Except I wasn't quite sure what it was yet. I threw on my cloak and cracked open the door. Right away it stank of Toa. It was a hallway, a vast winding corridor that seemed empty. Toa... My stinger was slick with venom. I didn't dare use my cane, if Toa were hunting me down, I would need the advantage of stealth. No, I wouldn't kill the unlucky fiend. I would get a few answers out of him first. On a whim I turned left and went down the hallway. (OOC: People can interact with Agion)
  21. "I say we take the chutes," said Dedris. "We get there fast, nobody steals the bikes, and the Vahki probably won't know who we are. With all the Matoran in a chute station we could fit right in."
  22. (IC as Agion) My eyes flickered to life. I wasn't sure what had happened. The last things I remember were being alone in the desert. Ah, the wonderful, warm sand. But I felt like I was dying of thirst. Even my venom had started to dry out, I was so thirsty. This was neither sand, nor warm. I gave an involuntary shudder. At least my want of water had seemed to die down, though my throat was still sore. I might be able to manage a few words. --Got to get warmer... somehow.-- I was a scorpion at heart, after all. Cold would slow me down further. My cloak. Got to get my cloak. I rubbed the sleep from my eyes, finally giving me a view into the world around me. It was a simple room, a desk and some cabinets along the walls. My cloak was hung up on the bedframe and my cane leaned against the wall. Someone. Someone had been here, fiddling with my things. For all I knew they could be laced with neurotoxin. I sniffed, trying to make out a scent, but there was nothing. No scent of venom, no dead skin, body odor, anything. I shot up in the bed, curling into a fighting stance. I didn't dare touch my things now. I didn't care about where I was. I formed my claws and stinger around my hands and waited for the door to open. For my captors to find I was no ordinary Jaga. Oh yes. They were very, very wrong indeed.
  23. I've used an emulator to play QftT. If you're tech-savvy it shouldn't be too hard to get one up and running.
  24. No gears are nice when you want to hold an epic pose, but they're great when you want to actually play with the models. I find myself returning to the Toa Mata torso for my creations because it's so easy to add gears to them. So for real playable figures, I say gears are a must. Anyway I don't want to totally be bashing your opinion. I would love more transparent parts--I'd take those over my metal idea any day. And I have a very good idea for a scythe if they ever bring back disk launchers or spinners...
