  1. What version are you using? If it's the Windows version (AP_v7w.zip), it should have a Play.exe file. Just click on that to run the game. On the Linux version (AP_v6l.zip), there's a file named Play.sh. Run that and the game should start. Or there could just be a bug I need to fix. Are there any error messages that come up?
  2. Out comes a video game, based off the movie, so horrendous that the computers that try to run it fry themselves. In goes said abomination.
  3. I concoct a combination of pickle juices and douse you with it, making you shrivel up. My mask.
  4. What is it going to be about? Is it going to focus on the Toa, like the official books, or the Matoran, like MNOG? And if you need any help with things I will gladly lend my aid
  5. Ghutan, haven't you ever used the Internet? You know, for things BESIDES finding T1S' deep dark secrets... oh what the heck, ask your HF minion. He'll fill you in on things. Speaking of which, Cyrahk and Thulk, has Ghutan ever been on the BZP Most Wanted list?
  6. Kopaka's mask is the one constant the Bionicle universe revolves around. To change it would mean to unbind all of reality. (Or have a bunch of angry fans bust down the doors of Lego headquarters, but close enough)
  7. This thread has taken a few very strange turns. For some reason I can't stop reading, though.
  8. So there IS a name for that! Anyway, I'm Jaga, I've actually been on here for a while but never bothered to introduce myself. I'm a writer and/or game dev in what little time I have to spare. I was actually on the BioMedia Project before coming here, and did some work with their RPG. My magnum opi (plural of opus?) have been the various plays I act in at the local theater and my game/story, Adventure Posts. So yeah, it's a pretty nice place here.
  9. "Hello, BZPower Police? Yes, do you by chance have a fish on your Most Wanted list? Okay, thanks for checking..."
  10. Methinks it's going to come out with some mutant hybrid of Furno and General Greivous. Run while you still can, gentlemen.
  11. If and when you continue work on the game: ADD A FART GUN. ...you know you want to...
  12. Good heavens, they make $120 sets? I mean, I knew there were those big Star Wars collectibles but... gah. Needs more cashmoneys.
  13. I mayhaps maybe might take this challenge. I'm tinkering around with X-Pods right now... I'll have to see what I can come up with! Nice moc, by the way. Are those twins?
  14. Question: Can players buy stuff from the commercial sector to use in the arena? Because Agion's trying to get a grappling hook... could he just buy one and use one or would he have to give up one of his power/weapon slots?
  15. Wait there was a sign-up period? I didn't catch that... dangit. That said if someone drops out or something I'd be more than happy to fill up his spot with Agion.
  16. (IC as Agion, Knowledge Sector -> Commercial Sector) I had been listening to some of the other fighters mention shops somewhere around this arena. I had been going over my defeat again and again in my mind. If only I had some way of getting around faster, I might have won. Add to that my recently gained knowledge on Visorak and poisons, and I had a positively fiendish idea in mind. Idly, I wondered if these shops would stock any of the materials I needed. Well, they had a gigantic library smack in the middle of the place so I supposed they would have just about anything I wanted. The place was easy enough to spot, a vast marketplace with some strange, off-colored walls. It seemed like someone had had to repair something and didn't do a flawless job. Interesting. At random, I picked a booth that had less fighters crowded around it and decided to pose my question. "Excuse me, sir, but would you happen to have any Visorak silk?" I asked. "I'm looking to make a grappling hook." (OOC: Agion pestering the shopkeeper.)
  17. That one walking one with the flail is positively frightening... It's like a Manas, except worse...
  18. Question about the mechs: Can there be multi-pilot mechs, like the Jaegers of Pacific Rim? How would they work, if there can be ones like that?
  19. The Jaga approves of this Jaga. SQUEEEEEEEE
  20. Why thank you my good sir. I had way too much fun doing these three. Oh, there'll be bigger ones later, like the legendaries. Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina will definitely take up some space. I dunno, I guess I like the challenge of building small, plus it helps when you're really running low on parts of a certain color. Like purple. I need to get my grubby little paws on more purple bricks. I'm going to some of my favorites up next: Magnemite, Skarmory, Sceptile and Crobat. Then I can take apart their real-life models and do the evolutions of these three. Not sure if I'm going to do the Mega Evo's, I mean they change so little from their original forms... oh, I'll see how this turns out first. EDIT: Here they are. Magnum the Magnemite: Magnemite was my first Pokemon, so I always have one on my team. Plus it's kindof funny to beat the Elite Four with a lvl. 50 Magnemite. Skarmory, aka Stealth. This guy's just plain cool. Sceptile, aka Shredd. Shredd is named after one of the Ramas from the old Xalax racers. Sceptile's my favorite starter Pokemon. Crobat, aka Venom. I had a Dark Crobat card that absolutely kicked butt. Crobat's had a spot on my team ever since. Next up: Charmeleon, Ivysaur, and Wartortle!
  21. (IC as Agion) By this time I had picked up a book on poisons and taken a look. It was full of chemical formulas and recipes for various toxins, as well as a good chunk devoted to the Visorak. Interesting. Rapid footsteps snapped me out of focus. Aeolus had left, walking down between more towering bookcases. I followed him, keeping myself hidden in my cloak.
  22. "Hello there! My name is evil_jaga_genius, but most people call me the Pokemon Professor... well, they don't, really, but let's just assume they do, ok? Part of my research involves turning Pokemon into Lego creations..." Somewhere around here I said that Lego should make Pokemon sets like the X-Pods of old. These are my takes on the idea. I've actually been doing this for a while now, making Pokemon teams from Lego bricks, I've just now found a spot to share them. I call them PokeMOCs. How do I do it? First I pick a Pokemon to build (duh), usually from my team/TCG deck. Then I start rummaging around in the Lego box, picking out interesting pieces or all of a certain color. After I build a real model, I recreate it in LeoCAD (my LDD clone of choice), and use POV-Ray to get a decent image of it. So without further ado, Pokeball Go! Bulbasaur! https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7863sQWxf-xUFZUUlB3alQ5Zkk&authuser=0 Squirtle! https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7863sQWxf-xR24wVV9hcnIwNUk&authuser=0 And last but not least, Charmander! https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B7863sQWxf-xcUs2VWE2VzRfcDA&authuser=0 Comments, ideas, requests, and pictures of your own PokeMOCs are welcome! -Jaga
  23. Mata: Defined the Toa's look but weren't that posable. Nuva: Posability wasn't fixed, and the Toa seemed bulkier. But the whole transforming tools (e.g. Tahu's blades turning into his surfboard) were cool. Karda: I'm not sure what was wrong with them, but they get a solid 'meh' in my opinion. They were pretty posable though. Plus Lego had just switched socket designs so the joints tend to crack easier. The fact they could link with the Matoran was cool. Okoto: I haven't got any yet, but CCBS doesn't lend itself well to Gen1's mechanical look. However, they are posable and have gears (a pro, IMO). And Pohatu finally got a cool weapon. My ideal Toa would combine parts of all of the generations: the Mata's biomechanical look, the Nuva's transforming tools, and Okoto's flexibility. And rocket-propelled boomerangs.
  24. I like Jango more than Boba, personally, due to my gameplay in Battlefront 2. There's nothing quite like nailing a jumping Yoda in the face with a rocket launcher.
