  1. Did you ever have ships for Bionicle characters? If so, who? Examples: Hewkii x Macku Hahli x Jaller Onua x Lewa
  2. And Onua constantly having to bail him out.
  3. Yes, it can be only one line. Even just a mention. S: Don't Blink is an example
  4. This might be a useful add to why the Bionicle franchise succeeded: It was cheaper and more friendly. I never got any of the earlier technic products due to my parents. Too much cost and not a friendly product. With Bionicle, there was a connection my parents were okay with, and allowed me to get the entire 2001 wave. (Except the Manas. As the sets got pricier my parents felt less accepting to buy the toys.)
  5. I've heard these toa elements swimming around here, but why? I suppose it's about new Generation 1 Toa, but can someone clarify for me? Thank you.
  6. I would bet, if I had a Paypal. Otherwise no. Though I still say Onua is to be leader. The only one on the team to appreciate teamwork.
  7. True, but introverts don't tend to be the best leaders, since they don't talk a lot 'n all. Maybe if he was a sort of armchair general; but he isn't, he's out in the field with his brethren. He should be the head advisor to whomever in command, not be in command himself. Not all introverts are bad leaders. Introverts simply stay secluded to their own group. As long as they're with people they know, leadership isn't a difficulty. I should know. I'm an introvert yet always picked to be the leader over my wisdom. I always refuse unless it's with my peers. Onua makes a good leader in my opinion. Interestingly, same here. Being leader means drawing attention to one's self, and I'm not too find of that; but like you said I'll do that for my friends if the need arises. Hmm, you've made me consider Onua as leader, kudos to thou for that. Thank you. Should we turn this discussion into an official poll?

  9. When I was younger I was deeply fond of the Ko-Matorans and Kopaka. But as I've grown older, I've actually had a tied fondness for Onu,Ga, and Le-Matorans. Green is my favorite color. It shows Nature, Creativity, and self-esteem. My favorite shade of green is Chartreuse. Which, to me, symbolizes life.
  10. The toa mata, in order: Kopaka Onua Gali Pohatu Tahu Lewa
  11. I agree with this. But I have to wonder, why is gender even a thing if it doesn't really effect anything? Why can't every element be bi-gendered? Why would the great beings have a bias of gender if the matoran/toa/turaga can't reproduce?I always took the elements as "classes" and the Ga-Matorans being the breeders. Like how the Ko-Matorans were scholars and Ta-Matorans as mask makers. Makes sense. But does ones gender and element really define ones occupation or class of occupation? Think of the suits in Star Trek, then just make a suit for only women.

  13. If a shaman can have his input in the matter? All plant life is feminine, even if male. The only type of life capable of independent reproduction is female. Which is why plants can reproduce without interaction with a male.
  14. Well it's good to find others with personalities like mine. I never knew Takua was INFP
  15. The translucent pieces indicate the toa's actual body. Their body we actually see is an exoskeleton, like a shell. And they're actually elemental spirits. At least that's my theory anyway.
  16. With how Gen 2 is so far: Weird Al Yankovic But if it gets better, I think the music would be based mainly on the tone. I could see artists like Bastille, The Fray, and Imagine Dragons doing music. Off Topic, but I'd want there to be an early death. I think it'll push the Gen 2 story directly where it needs to go.
  17. I'm INFP. Introvert 33% Intuitive 25% Feeling 50% Perceiving 11%
  18. I'm INFP which does fit well with my religion and life as a shaman. How is everyone?
  19. So you have polycarbonate or a similar material to make the masks from? Yep. My grandfather made model trains from scratch as a hobby. Our garage is like a miniature Home Depot. I'm surprised my family never thought about making anything besides using some things for home remodeling. We have polycarbonate, clay, paints, dyes, I'm sure there's other things to use but this is outside my comfort zone...
  20. I've made transparent dye before. A paint that gives a translucent effect. (Water, Blue Paint, and Salt) Which allowed me to make the effect of an underwater city. It shouldn't be too hard to find out how to apply that to plastic. Now if only I could get a molding machine...
  21. I am INFP, I doubt any Bionicle characters are like that. Oh well.
  22. I'm tempted to mold Gali's mask and make everyone here their own translucent version. Seems as fair as what Lego pulled. To be honest I don't think Lego is taking Bionicle seriously at all. The uneven effort in design, the issues in storytelling, even promotions like this. It's all a game to them in my opinion. I think Bionicle needs to be treated as it once was. With dedication and community.
  23. I'm currently building a scarf. One that you can wear and works similarly to fabric. I'm making it my using the flat 4-holed technic tiles ((+OO+))and using 6-length axels to "stitch" them together. It allows the tiles to move freely, at the same time keeping them attached together. I have about 5 inches of the scarf made, but now I'm out of pieces... Once I figure out how to post pics on her from my droid, I'll show you. Anyone have tips to help me? Such as where to get more pieces in bulk? :s Thank you.
