  1. Twilight Princess is darker and grittier than most other Zeldas, and Midna's absolutely fantastic, but it's pathetically easy.

Skyward Sword is fun and introduces so many new dynamics that feels more like a new game than TP, which, in several ways, felt like Ocarina of Time 2. It, too, is ridiculously easy, however, and the story is very much lacking.

Majora's Mask is still my fave. :P Everything OoT did right, with the addition of more darkness and melancholy than any other Zelda, save perhaps TP.

  2. My being eighteen has a two-fold effect on my attending a convention: one, travelling as an unaccompanied minor is more difficult than as an adult. Once eighteen, eveything gets a bit easier. :P Second: I don't want to travel cross-border just to attend a convention for one day, and if you want to register for more than just the public day at most conventions you need to be over eighteen. It's the full-meal deal or nothing for this Canadian!

  3. You think too highly of yourself.

Terrorize the BZPRPG? The forum where at least one person dies every day? Where Tuck and Nuju strike down any player they please with meteors and Rahkshi? Where mass murders are cliché and simple world domination is boring?

You'd have better luck holding back the sea with a broom.

    Welcome to Karz, kid.

  4. The fact that the Rahksih were interested in small obelisk stones seems a rather dead giveaway to me. Why would Nuju specify obelisks unless it were important to the nature of the objects? And one of the common characteristics of canon Toa Stones is their obelisk appearance.

However, keep in mind that the containers of Toa Energy need not be stones of a certain size, or even made of stone to begin with. The Toa Metru transferred their Toa energy to sleeping Matoran, which suggests that their power can flow into and through different kinds of materials than just stone. These Toa Stones could be the size of boulders, the size of pebbles, or maybe not even stones at all.

  5. 6 abnormally powered Toa Stones had to come from 6 abnormally powered Toa. 6 abnormally powered Toa = The Toa Mata. This fits with what Makuta said about the Toa being neither dead nor alive as their power still lives on in the form of Toa Stones, unfortunately they haven't been accessed yet, thus the Toa Mata are still not alive.

    Exactly!

Now, if we want to take this one step further, answer me this: what have the Chronicler's Company's clues told us so far?

Only the pure in spirit can enter here.

Only those truly faithful can find it.

Only the mose creative can unlock it.

Only those at peace can enter here.

Each clue speaks of a certain virtue that one must embody to enter, find, or unlock something. These virtues bring to mind the temples in MNOGII, in which Hahli underwent various trials to prove her purity, her faith, her creativity and her peace.

Now, if the Toa Mata's power still lives on in their Toa Stones, then it makes sense that whoever most embodies the virtue each Toa stood for will be able to access their power.

To put it simply, he who is most at peace will take up the mantle of Kopaka. She who is most faithful will inherit the power of Lewa. And he who is most courageous will brandish the flames of Tahu. And, at last, Mata Nui will be free.

  6. Correct. Generally, it's assumed that Nintendo wanted to see how the game would sell in Europe before they brought it to North America, but that makes little sense, seeing as the game was already in English and it wouldn't have cost them anything.
