  1. I've been having a serious unexplainable nostalgia of wanting to play this game. Probably because of the soundtrack, but anyway... I need to get my hands on a copy again. I'm practically foaming at the mouth wanting to play it. Has anyone else felt like this for a video game, let alone a movie based video game?
  2. I can speak English. I can understand some German (not much, but since some words sound the same, and if I take my time, it should be fast enough to learn). But aside from that, I'm not really skilled with language.
  3. You were correct: I'm probably going to borrow MW3 from a friend for a week, to beat the campaign on Veteran. I am still in the process of completing Call of Duty 3 on veteran difficulty. The checkpoints, however, make me want to go and kill someone. So that's going by slowly. Does anyone know whether or not they'll give out cheats for intel?
  4. "Fireze Sogna", by Giuseppe di StefanoDangit, why can't songs like this one last longer?

    Ponies Unite!

"Who said that? WHO THE HECK SAID THAT?!" "A JELLY DOUGHNUT?"
  6. The Medal of Honor series had the most fitting music for it for the era it was based in. And who hasn't heard the original's first five notes? The music in that series is very fitting for the World War II era. Another series with some of my favorite music, is the Halo series. And who can forget "Psycho Mantis' Theme" from Metal Gear Solid 1? I don't think anybody here can forget that creepy theme. Speaking of creepy, Silent Hill 2's soundtrack can be eerily disturbing at times. "Red Pyramids" comes into mind.
  7. In addition, Nobel originally intended dynamite to be used in mines, because the previous explosive ended up killing allot of miners. The dynamite was safer, as it didn't explode whenever it felt like. Just when someone lit a fuse, or pushed a plunger. -In the Halloween Spirit, the Irish originally carved faces onto turnips.

Is it too hard for them to make a Star Wars video game that has an undisputed dark side victory? No redemption, no "I'm dead, but I at least kept the sith tradition alive!", and none of that "Evil has won... for now". I just want to play as a Sith, and have it actually be canon.
  9. Pretty dang cool. I'm wondering what they'll be fighting in the movie, but that'll be solved soon enough. Either way, it's going to be awesome.
  10. I have the White Darth Vader PSP that came with Star Wars Renegade Squadron. I barely have any games for it though. But my favorite of the ones I do have has got to be Medal of Honor Heroes. I'm am planning on getting Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker for it... soon... eventually. But I seriously need ideas for games I should get for it. Any tips?
  11. I went to Boys State (That was Awesome), completed Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory, actually manged to play Freedom Fighters, worked at the circus, became the Cadet/CMC for my NJROTC unit, became a Senior, completed Mass Effect 2 on Insanity, cruise other forums (majority of which gave me headaches), had a net gain of five kills per match in Homefront (what makes this significant is that I usually die 20 times before getting a kill in other games). What else, what else... I became addicted to music from the 1950s, played some Battlefront 2, and, of course, wait for the forums to come back online. All in all, nothing really out of the ordinary for me.
  12. In the ending of Medal of Honor: Heroes, Col. Hargrove tells you that Sergeant John Baker is being transfered to the Pacific to aid Corporal Joseph Griffin in POW rescue raids. Now, in that statement alone, there is a noticable flaw (of which is in bold). In Mission 6 of Medal of honor Rising Sun, titled Singapore Sling, Floyd (aka OSS Agent with sunglasses) says: "Take a seat, Sergeant Griffin." From there, the events of Medal of Honor Rising Sun takes place from March to July of 1944. MOH Heroes' ending takes place sometime after the Battle of the Bulge, which takes place around 1945. Now somewhere in that time, Griffin was demoted, because I doubt Hargrove would forget/be uninformed someone's rank, especially if they are in the OSS. Now then, Medal of Honor Rising Sun was cheated out of a proper ending/a sequel. The majority of the reasons were that the people involved with Rising Sun were never mentioned again. So I just limited it down to the two most important people: 1) Major Borov, a Soviet who would be willing to make peace with the Germans/change the USSR's leadership that would aid the Germans in someway. Possibly by killing Stalin. Now if that were to play out like with the Czar in WWI, the USSR would pull out, having the Germans focus their attention on the Western front. Not even saying his conspiracy was uncovered and he was arrested by the Soviets is unjustifiable. 2) Shima. Not only is he responsible for the death of Tanaka (a fellow OSS agent), but he also manages to escape the Supercarrier with your brother. The last place he'd take him is to a random POW camp. If anything, he'd keep Donnie (your brother), close by for leverage in the case of an assault led by you. Who wouldn't want revenge against him? Medal of Honor Rising Sun was cheated out of a sequel, and was only given a cop-out ending in MOH: Heroes, that couldn't even keep consistancy with MOHRS's storyline. Even if its in a graphic novel collection of MOH stories (call it MOH Legends), Rising Sun needs a proper ending. Heck, I could write one. Even MOH Heroes 2 could've corrected this, but instead, they make a new guy (someone we've never even heard of, sort of going against the point of Heroes) and place him and the hardly-heard-of battlefields in France.

If you wanna get technical about it, then he's really a Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy and where am I going with this? Either way, I like the avatar. It's fitting.
  14. Yeah, I have a tendency to overthink things.
  15. I swear, school can be pretty awesome at times. Okay, right after the face melt, where Indiana Jones and Marion free themselves, how do they get back to the states? I'm not familiar with them, but I don't think U-Boats can be piloted (that's the right word?) by two people.

    No!

The only version of Friday I will tolerate is the version done by Colbert. The real one makes me want to stick a knife in my eardrums.
  17. *Sees Warner Bros* It's obvious April Fools report. Part of me wonders if this is 100% legit, and not written up by someone, with CNN just pasted on the side to make it look official. *Sees Uwe Boll* ... Doesn't change what I already know.
  18. I instantly think about what the staff do when they see stuff similar to that. *"Okay, nobody responded, quickly edit/delete the post and- no... no no no NO NO NO! CURSE YOU __Insert Name of Responder Here__! *Smashes keyboard* This is gonna be a long two weeks."*
  19. Love the cow-dog sig.

Cold pizza for breakfast. Hot pizza for everything else.
  22. Gearbox, please tell me it's a publicity stunt... I'M NOT HEARING THE APRIL FOOLS!
  23. I only know how to make molotovs and mustard gas. Of course, I only learned the later through TV, so that may not be too accurate. I say get a sledge hammer for the wall.
  24. Eat a bowl of Lucky Charms, take out that green Christmas sweater you said you'd never wear, and catch the Leperchaun for their gold! It's St. Patty's Day! My Business Law teacher will bring in a "Shipping Out to Boston" CD, which is like a tradition now, and I'm well prepared for the day with a green shirt and jacket on my dresser. Halo: The Invasion Progress: -Finished Chapter 31, now begining Chapter 32. -Now working on some banners. When I'll release it during who-knows-when, they should be ready to go. -Worst comes to worst, I've been playing enough of the Sims 2/Sims 3 to make the basic ideas of the characters and what they look like. Bake Sale Ideas: Info: In order to raise money for my NJROTC unit, we're holding a bake sale. Unfortunatly, I only know how to make dinner/lunch foods. So tell me, what desert would be simple enough for me to make? Call of Duty: Zulu-Mike-Bravo -On hold, for another story that's more so of a proper introduction into the two stories. Just getting the ideas down for it. Begging for a Project: Info: I don't care what the people at school will say about me, I'll want a World War II project for History class. We're only on WWI right now, so I think I'll have enough time for it. Looking for Freedom Fighters: Info: I think the fates are conspiring against me with this. I can't find it anywhere, and when my friend bought it for his PS2, the disk was broken. I've been really wanting to play this. Alright, see you all later. Enjoy the day.
