  1. Kuma-Akuma is amazing! My favorite of all I have seen
  2. Eris has an old school feel to it, therefore receiving my vote
  3. Most Interesting..... I'll have to play with some Lego
  4. Hey everyone! Long time no see, so I figured I would share my latest moc here on the new forums. It took me over a year to build this dragon, working on and off on all his structures. The moc weighs in around 8-10 pounds and is five feet long from nose to tail. It's legs are poseable and the neck and tail are very flexible from side to side. The jaw and eyes articulate on the head, and his horns light up blue. (I switched the light elements from other inika blades)Most of the parts I had on hand, but had to order a little to fill in the ribs.Let me know what ya think, Enjoy!^Click Me to See the Gallery^
  5. Return I have! Even be it slowly, I am coming back to BZPower, the community I love! I've just about chibi'd everything, but there are holes I am still filling. Chibi Karzahni is SO CUTE!

    1. Imold

Karzahni the Being. I love it. It's really cute.

  6. LOL! I plan on making appearances more often, I have to really. I need to get back up to speed so I can be 100% ready for Brickcon. and yeah Bunda, you can get lost and die forever there, no joke. Just over that edge was a cliff where you could plummet to your utter doom. In other words, stay far from the edge..... Lol, MOCing mommy, thats awesome!
  7. Man, it was absolutely EPIC to the max! You could not ask for a better day to go up there. Not a breath of wind, it felt like it was 70 degrees out.
  8. I have been a ghost here, but decided to stop in and share some life with everyone. Things are rough financially and it is hard to concentrate on Lego, even though I am attending Brickcon this fall. We went up to the lake last weekend and rode up high to a point named Ascension. Up around 5000 feet, it was gorgeous, and too warm to wear a jacket the whole day out riding. This is bliss and utter peace within.
  9. I have revamped some of the old chibis to have poseable waists. Most all of the new ones are the same, uuber poseable. I have already made chibi tarakava with all the original functional goodness! :3
  10. Hey all! I've decided to put together some new topics to post up in the BBC forum. first off, is a new chibi topic now that Bionicle is complete. It'll sure be a lot easier to build them all now that no new bionicle sets are coming out. Hero Factory on the other hand... he he he. I can't WAIT to chibi those guys! The topic will have not only all the sets in chibi, but also with full sets of building instructions to go with them, so everyone who reads can build a chibi for themselves. I just completed Karzahni, some Glatorian, some Mahri, Mistika, Phantoka, Tarakava and more! I cant even describe how cool the tarakava came out! :3 secondly, I am going to revamp the Trials of Terror project. New mocs with the story and movie clips/moviemakin' will all be inclusive in one topic. This will take a while, so dont expect to see it for a while. I have not forgotten about the movie, I do eventually want to do it. In the meantime, I have some chibis to build! I be a pluggin away! *snap*
  11. It would have been fun to be there! Maybe I'll make it next year with big mocs in tow!
  12. My Lariska is brown based, I probably cant enter her here can I?
  13. Surprisingly enough, this wasn't very difficult to do, it was just time consuming. I cut the whole thing out with scissors. For the dragons wings, I took a long piece of tape and cut it diagonally, then I would draw a shape and cut the end out of one of the triangles, and then trace the design on the other piece so it makes an exact opposite copy. The arrows around the shield were made by folding the white tape in half and cutting it at an angle. The scalloping on the ends of the wings were cut from the leftover pieces from making the main wing panels. I did the fold technique for some of the larger teeth, and all the smaller teeth were cut out individually. For the tail I cut some pieces of leftover tape into a graduated wedge, and the cut it into squares and laid it out in the right order. I did the detail work and stuck em down as I went. On the head I took a leftover triangle cutout and scalloped it down to make the head and neck. The face was cout out of the tip of leftover Glad y'all like it! I'm gonna see if I can submit it to Shoei. Maybe they might like it...
  14. I took my all black Shoei RF-200 helmet that I got for $5, and decided to add some custom decals to it to detract from its boringness. I went to the hardware store and picked up a wide roll of red reflective tape, and a narrow roll of the white, and came up with this... I spent maybe a total of six hours working on it. What do you think? The tape reflects light pretty well, so it is high vis at night, and should gleam in the sun. (click the pics to see larger versions) I am going to use it for snowmobiling.
  15. And here I thought this blog was gonna be about snowmobiles! LOL Have a nice bike ride! Its a blast in the snow, a really good workout!
  16. If you would like to, I have no problem with it. I have the entire line in my possession, minus one small new set, and an exclusive set thats looks like the original blue and yellow shifter in a different color scheme. I plan on doing a full set line review of the shifters. But do do an entry on your neo machine. It would be interesting to get a closer look. I even have the "Top Secret" minikit phantom Neo from one of the birthday packages. You dont see those around very often.
  17. Split Shifter is an excellent buy, much moreso than the Templar Battle Walker. My split shifter kit has really tight joints, as well as my Shadow::Sfear set. For second gen shifters, those are the best ones. The Hydraxx Energy base is cool, but it takes up a bit of room, and gets old pretty quick. It would be neat to find a way to attach two of them together, but I think you would have to use glue.
  18. Simia::Rix is an awesome set! I have two of him, but neither has loose joints. The set that has loose joints are the 2nd gen run. All of them are so loose they cannot stand. These new sets have really tight joints, at least on the ones I got. These are available on Amazon.com, I just typed in Guardax Nor, and those came up for $11.99, free shipping if you get all 4.
  19. Ya, its a symbiotic relationship between the Neo's and Shifters, although the shifters don't necessarily need the Neo's to control them, as they are a separate entity. I know theres a video out there that explains this.
  20. Here they are, the long awaited final run of Neo Shifters sets. These are hard to find, and if you can't find them locally, check out Amazon.com. I got lucky and found the whole set for retail price with free shipping. DO NOT OVERPAY! These sets are 11.99 Featured in this blog, are the four primary shifters. I will address Duplicon and the small sets in another entry. After that, I will do an entry about the whole line as well as the custom sets I have assembled. I have noticed that the plastic quality is slightly more brittle on these sets. Even though they have tight fitting parts, if you assemble them at any other angle than perfectly sraight, there is a chance that the connection points will crack. I'll be contacting Mega Blocks soon for replacement parts on two of these guys. At least they send you the parts, no questions asked! One big bummer is that there are no more light up eyes. These sets, Duplicon, and the web battlers all have a solid molded face. (will take pics in final review) Onto the action! Click on the pictures to see a larger version. The four shifters All rolled up. Technically, the weapons are mounted to the sides of the ball so that it will roll, but I like to set them up like this. and their Neos. The Neos a; have really cool melee weapons that can be stuck behind the shifters mask or in their weapon. They look really cool mounted into the masks, cause it gives them either horns or tendrils on their heads. (will show this in final review) Romaar::Xor click the thumbnails to see full size photos. Warzon<>Bau (my favorite by far) Randius<>Ka Guardax::Nor
