  1. I would not be opposed to new names, however I'd like them to maybe start with the prefixes of the elements? Like Le-, Ta- etc. Like the Bohrok, off the top of my head. Even completely new prefixes are welcome.
  2. Getting Pohatu and not understanding how ball joints/sockets work and sort of giving up trying to build him for a bit, and then finally getting it. And also building the Bohrok combiner with Nuhvok, Tahnok and Pahrak, was it? I remember it looked really cool and my mom commented on it being a little scary and it sat in the corner of my bedroom for a bit.
  3. Schoolwork helps, and other life things. Also the fact that I'm not that eager to buy new sets and get all involved again in the story. I'm excited, sure, but Bionicle will probably be more a side hobby and occasional distraction. BZP will eat up a lot of my time though.

Or, in other words, the pinnacle of human achievement. Landing a probe on a comet a bajilion miles away? Pfft, childs play. Combining snackfood and drink into a cheese-flavored carbonated beverage? That, people, takes true genius. I salute the pioneers at Pepsi for coming up with the one thing this world needed, the one thing we were missing from our lives but just didn't know it until now. Truly, this is it, people. It's just all downhill from here.
  5. To be honest I was a little creeped out by the set because spiders aren't my favorite creatures world, so that's a good thing, I guess? As much as I'd like not to have a giant spider-shaped set hiding somewhere in my room (even though it only has six legs), the fact that it comes with the "gold" skull spider mask compels me to buy it... I must have all the gold masks
  6. Definitely Vezon. I think we could do with a Deadpool-esque character to break the tension.
  7. Being able to charge more seems logical, but they could have just started charging more for smaller sets citing rising prices or whatever (though seems unlikely LEGO would do such a thing). I agree with Axilus that bigger sets allow for more creative designs and flexibility and the ability to add more articulation, improve pose-ability, come up with new part designs and just more parts in general. I would be (and was) happy to pay for all of the above.
  8. Better yet, this one here over in Bionicle Discussion. Takanuva seems to be a pretty popular there. Also, welcome to BZP, MaskMaster. I'm gonna go ahead and close this, you guys can head on to the topic.
  9. I think this line of discussion would be best continued in either the Official topic or this similar one here. Topic closed.

    Finally

... a contest that I have the relevant skills to enter (check out GA21 guys), and a Humble Bundle I don't feel the need to buy.
  11. Seeing as how this is a rather general question (and that the only things we know for sure about the story are from one video), I think it'd be best continued in the Official Topic. Topic closed.
  12. This is a pretty simple idea and I'm sure someone else will also come up with this, but I'm going to enter it anyway. Member name: Zeddy Entry image: Link
  13. Onua is probably the second-most interesting set after Kopaka so I'm definitely going to buy him. I hadn't noticed/realized until now that you could combine the Protector and the Toa, so that was a nice surprise. Thanks for pointing that out, NM. Overall, it was a pretty great review. Thanks for stripping him down to the basic structure, I was curious as to what he had going on under all that bulky armor.
  14. I kind of liked the Inika masks; they were a nice change from the usual rigid plastic ones we got before them, and they did a good job of seeming semi-organic. As for my least favorite mask, that would have to be either the Mohtrek or the Felnas. Too limited usage in anything other than mosquitoes or beetles. If they were silver or something, that would have been fine. But they're not, so... Also not a huge fan of the Volitak. And if we're talking about the 2015 masks, then Lewa's hands down. Lewa's new mask is probably the ugliest across the whole series, IMO.
  15. Everything was good, but I guess I went through phases when it came to what was my favorite. The sets were first, because they are what drew me in. Story and lore (and sets) later because that's what kept me around and interested from ~2004 to 2008 or so, and the fanbase (and Axalara) towards the end because the story was too convoluted by that point and I didn't have the time or interest to keep up with it.
  16. Hm, I think this topic deals with pretty much the same issue- Bionicle sets releasing early (in time for Christmas and such). I think you guys can continue there. Topic closed.
  17. ... is literally the dullest, most time consuming thing I can think of when it comes to cooking. If only the payoff wasn't sooo worth it. WHERE IS A PRESSURE COOKER WHEN YOU NEED ONE D: Hopefully now that I'll have some boiled potatoes I can finally motivate myself into actually using them in a dish instead of just leaving them there and giving up and eating them with salt or something... And while we're on the topic of frustrating foods, what is up with the lemons, guys? How the heck is one supposed to use them? They're like yellow oranges (heh) except worse- near impossible to peel, and half of the good stuff just stays unused! I guess I'll just go lemon-less when I'm not at home (or buy those lemon juice things)... The ones I'm used to are small, thin-skinned and you can squeeze them with your hand without spraining your wrist. I guess I'm just homesick lol
  18. Yeah, I misspoke, I meant to say the print on the chest. I didn't even notice the thigh stickers, so I guess that's a good thing because they're not gaudy or anything.
  19. I think now would be a good time to bring out this bad boy: I think Kopaka is definitely one of my favorite sets from the new batch. I'm not a huge fan of the stickers on the breastplates (this applies to all Toa) but here at least it seems to break the flow and fit with the rest of the colour scheme. I prefer the print to a solid gold block of armor which would just be distracting. The armor on the leg is a bit weird, his thighs look way too weak compared to his calves... But I guess adding too much bulk on there would make it hard to pose the sets. Also it's interesting that there's not "real" leg piece- it definitely adds more versatility which is good, but then again, I like standard leg pieces.

    Age of Zombies

NO NO NO WHY DID YOU CHANGE IT THE ART WAS THE BEST PART OF THE GAAMMEE Now it looks exactly like that other dual-stick zombie shooter with 3D cuboid characters! Especially after you ruined Fruit Ninja with whatever silly updates you made to the interface and menu... I don't think I can support you in this endeavor anymore, Halfbrick. Good luck with the fat wads of cash you'll be making but I'll tell you what, you're not gonna find my money in there. It was a good... idk, like five? years and a lot of fun times, so I'm just gonna leave now before you ruin it more. If you need me, I'll be here, glued to my phone, playing 2048 till the end of times.
