I know I already apologized on Skype, but I guess I ought to publicly say it, as well. I misinterpreted your comment and I am sorry for that. Like I told you, I have no excuse beyond stress.

But yeah, I see your point--it sounds like the conclusion I came up with while examining the game post-closure. Although I do think some of those mechanics could be used more effectively under different circumstances.

Greel: Yeah... *beat* Yeeeah.

I think most people planned more than they were actually able to do. X3 That's fine, though--the fact that finals were happening three or four weeks in didn't help matters with some people (at the very least, me) at all.

But yeah, come to think of it, that's what I'm most disappointed in, personally--never getting a chance to see the immortality thing in effect. Even so, I'll probably reuse it later in another story--or maybe I'll even give Perpetual another shot somewhere down the road. I guess we'll just have to see.

iBrow: Yeah. Personally, I'm just tired of writing stories in universes whose rules I have little control over. Even in DR I was arguing with people over how Bionicle mechanics worked and whatever even though I had made heavy modifications to the rules for the RPG.

But yeah, in general, I won't get rid of or dismantle my sets and whatnot, but I'm basically done with Bionicle RPGs at this point.

that's k, though. Perpetual, surprisingly, has the most votes out of all of the entries so far. Which is pretty sweet.

Stay strong, man. If the staff and such know about it, then I'm sure they'll be taking precautions and watching for suspicious activity, even if they're telling you guys that there isn't evidence behind the claim. The best thing to do is just to stay calm about it and keep yourself safe.

Could certainly work, and I actually considered that when I saw the announcement. I think we only have around five or six volunteers for this, anyway, so we could always add some more people as they offer.

Yup yup! Of course, everything after a certain point towards the end of DR won't apply, but those changes are easily reflected with a bit of profile modification.

Introduction: Alrighty. So at this point it's looking like the intro will be split into three sections (kind of like now,) with each of the three dealing with one of the following:

-TL leader/Bounty/Maxie meeting

-TR leader meeting

-Hojohsin League/Ford and his agents meeting

... with additional Executives appearing in the first two.

Story Summary: Yeah, that problem occurred to me. What I may do (over Winter Break) is compile all of the random summaries into a Word document, post a blog entry containing whatever fits, and then if a few people could make "reserve" comments in the entry, I could put whatever doesn't fit in the main body into those. From there, we could write the actual summary on the wiki, since pages on there don't have size limits and it would give everyone access to the actual editing part of it.

Might be a bit convoluted, but it should work.
