  6. as soon as I saw this topic I knew that 9/10 of all posts at any given moment would mention Time TrapI personally haven't read it in such a long time that I can't remember exactly what was so good about it aside from maybe a really clever bit where Vakama fights the Shadowed One?personally I'd love to see an adaption of Inferno with Vezon voiced by Nolan North

    Studio Comic

hello friends I am back and I am here to make "studio comics" as the hip kids say I don't know if anyone will ever come back to read this but if you came looking for clues, congratulations. It's been a good ten years but this site is no longer worth the bother. I'm moving into a new and much better chapter in my life so don't feel bad for me. I won't be back, I think you know that. I check my twitter once in a while. @virulenthearts. I'll see you in the drift. Chapter one: Maybe we should fire him Chapter two: Let's start from scratch and blow up the sun Chapter three: My horoscope predicted this yesterday Chapter four: In commemoration Chapter five: Preshrunk dishwasher safe cotton Chapter six: Apples and oranges Chapter seven: Why are we yelling Chapter eight: I don't even like Pokemon Chapter nine: Ridley Scott would be proud Chapter ten: We're all on the same train and boy it's cramped Chapter eleven: We'll call the mechanic tomorrow Chapter twelve: Episode 2 and Episode 2.2 Chapter thirteen: Staples has basically everything we need Chapter fourteen: More like Thomas DEAD-ison haha Chapter fifteen: The classic three-key-combo Chapter sixteen: Sail with me into the dark Chapter Nineteen: Tom Cruise more like Tom Snooze Two-year anniversary special: teeth, preemptively included in your skull for convenience. It felt like a wise decision.
  11. Really solid entries here, but the concept and execution of #1 was just too good to pass up.
  12. as much as I love Nick's work all the time forever, I wasn't really feeling it in comparison to a couple other entries. #7 was the clear choice (the more I looked at #4 the more I appreciated the understated details and work with textures to create the full-body parasitic effect, but the overall build maybe could have used a little work).

    all joking aside

honestly the biggest problem is that none of us own the rights to the line even if it is dead so there's still a slew of legal issues with anyone making any kind of profit off this
  14. I love Tolkien's Matoran Dictionary, Revised Second Edition to death and I can't stop using it I want my own leatherbound hard copy complete with fancy illustrations
  15. The Toa Kaita always struck me as twins, and Mata-Nui and Makuta were polar opposites but still twin spirits in a sense. That's all that comes to mind, honestly. My knowledge of the lore is pretty rusty.

WOAH SNAP LOOK AT BONESY'S POST UP THERE THAT'S PRETTY TIGHT STUFF YO thank u staff for bringing the forums back you are beautiful and I love you alllike sometimes some junk happens and you do the best to make sure it doesn't happen again and that's pretty good for a fandom four years deadfor real though we lost a few interactions and that's a little sad but the important thing is that we got to experience them with others in the first placealso everyone listen to Deevs he is great when he's angry and he's just really really handsome in general also hi rob I love u too
  22. 1. I think the OoMN had the sense to avoid sending those destined to become bohrok across the universe. I'm pretty sure they were collected and stored instead. 2. Whatever serves the plot to greater effect would seem to be the prevailing logic in such a situation, but I would argue that the will of the Great Beings could overcome the mask powers they set in place to begin with unless they wanted otherwise to happen. (Also mentioning sites with forums is apparently bad but anyone familiar with outdated forum rivalries should know what you mean. Does anyone even talk about MOD anymore?)
  23. League of Six Kingdoms Formed After centuries of chaos, trade routes and worker's guilds have been united under an unprecedented new effort headed by the peace-seeking yet self-proclaimed "warlords;" Ehlek, Mantax, Pridak, Kalmah, Takadox, and Carapar. Despite fearsome names, the Six Kingdom Warlords Alliance (SKWA) were formed under the direction of the Great Spirits to ensure peace and prosperity in our time. SKWA leader Pridak takes the stand to address citizen's concerns over new government systems at yesterday's meeting in the heart of the coliseum When asked about current and future political ambitions, the leader of the SKWA and overseer of the great northern trade routes, Pridak, said he wanted only to be a boon to the working class and not a hindrance, citing economic spikes as tied to good government-guild relations. Concerns about military and police force were brushed off with a simple "only law-breakers need worry." The crowd, composed of many of Metru-Nui's hard-working citizens, seemed to visibly relax at this. Not everyone was in high spirits about the new mandatory government; some feeling that the toothy, charismatic leader smelled a little fishy. "So what's the law, yanno?" one carver spat angrily at the podium. "If we don't do somethin' to help you, is that an offense? And if we object, that's another one, right?" It is well known to trade circles, certainly, that the Po-Metru carver's markets are not the most brilliant example of well-to-do citizenry, but once more our fears were quelled as Pridak took the opportunity to address some concerns personally: "We are here to ensure diplomacy and prevent war. I'm sure we can all appreciate the need for safer communication in our markets. To that end, the minor quibbles of day-to-day life are not police matters. I advise you to take care of personal matters and move right along with no fear of retaliation." Pridak will be holding additional public forums in the months to come in order to ensure a smooth transition for citizens under his control. His first step will be to establish patrols along the pirate-infested trade routes between the Ga-Metru ports and Xian manufacturers. "I think this is a good step for everyone," Pridak said. "It's important to keep safety our priority." Ceteran Malivus for the Coliseum Chronicle can be reached through local offices; extension 50464. New contributors may request a free press kit and journalism guide.
  24. I blinked once or twice, feeling as though I had been banned, ejected, then dredged back to the island through an obscure and deadly ritual that probably involved a fish sandwich. I was certain that our glorious empress was probably keeping track of who was and wasn't in the game through her knowledge of temporal time and space. No doubt there was an alternate dimension where most of us were still alive, but right now I knew that only a handful of us were still in the game, the rest displaced and slaughtered by either the last of us or the unknowable forces of the universe.I looked towards our game master, who was staring back at the rest of us with a puzzled, slightly unnerved frown. What happened from here all hinged on her decision to either resurrect the corpses and merge our timelines or to just run with the ragtag group of survivors we had left.Swaggering over to our bar, which was totally not burnt to the ground, I poured myself a shot of grass clippings and downed it with a hardboiled grimace. No matter what the outcome was, the game had most certainly changed."Dangit Ronpaul," I muttered under my breath.
