  2. Well, to be fair, Viktor Antonov consulted on the game apparently. You may recognize him as the guy who designed City 17, or the guy who designed the cities in the dishonored series. It's not quite level design, but it'd be silly to discount Half-Life influence when you're working with the guy responsible to some of its aesthetic.

  3. I doubt I'll ever get around to even doing a no human or no alien upgrades run, so mad props to you for foregoing them both. I'm curious though, does it give the achievements for all three (no human, no alien, no upgrades at all) if you do the latter type of playthrough? Or do you actually have to replay the game an additional time for each type of run?

Split Affinity actually requires you to install only human and only typhon neuromods in separate playthroughs, so No Needles doesn't qualify for either. However, since Typhon Only would be The Worst, I went ahead and just saved at the very end of No Needles, completed it, came back, installed Mimic Matter and such, and then completed it again.

A bit "unethical," sure, but I wasn't gonna play the game twice without the q-beam

  4. it's 3 am when i'm writing this so im probably not the most clear but, for a game that gives you plot stuff for sidequests, I've found Prey (2017) to be a fairly decent one? several sidequests are just "go to point y find thing z" but a good number of other ones actually continue to have consequences later on?

one that comes to mind and isnt super spoilery is essentially like. at any time, i can end the game. that's what a sidequest lets me do here.

Ah yes, the elusive alolan form torchic...

I wonder what would replace alolan Blaziken's fighting type.

Well if we're switching Fire to Ice, a type that is weak against it, then we should switch Fighting to a type weak to fighting.  I recommend Normal, since Ice/Normal is a type combination that hasn't happened yet.

    4x weak to fighting
