Honestly, IV felt like a let down after 3 to me? The lack of the really shining mission cutscenes and worse music selection in particular made the gameplay, expanded though it was, harder to enjoy

why would you look forward to suicide squad. it's going to be horrid.

 

because you are objectively wrong and it looks like the second best superhero movie of the year after Deadpool

 

are we seeing the same suicide squad trailers, or are you somehow getting ones that aren't 5th grade levels of edgy

 

 

aside from the fact that their use of bohemian rhapsody automatically earns them points (plus bonus for making the trailer match the beats), it looks like a dark but fun romp, which is all I could ask for out of a superhero movie.

 

bohemian rhapsody is not like bacon, it doesn't automatically enhance anything. bohemian rhapsody is a bar you have to reach or otherwise you're wasting it. and suicide squad is trying to introduce over a dozen characters in one go to a brand new cinematic universe with nearly no prior setup for any of them. you don't make the avengers before you make iron man and captain america.

this is all of course ignoring the way they're making harley "crazy" for the edge of it in such a hamfisted manner, and the whole insensitive debacle of the joker "consuming" jared leto
