    Quick Life Update

I go to the doctors 3-4 times a month, and I have to schedule all of my MRI/Ultrasound appointments into my phone and categorise them by hospital or I forget when and where I'm supposed to be. I went in for some preventative surgery and it seems to have worked I guess?? Anyway, tl;dr hospital food in Ireland, Y/N?
  2. Thanks, it was a really fun experience putting it together.
  3. I am open to suggestions!! I tried the silver hf armor, a black clear bohrok eye and even two milky silver eyes but nothing so far really makes my Mida finger twitch, y'know?
  4. Unlikely. The Goblin and the Minotaur are largely the same character models scaled appropriately with swapped out heads, arms and feet. The Hydra is ultimately a mess because of all the free floating bits. I've been trying out ways to make a Harpy, but nothing that satisfies me so far. As for variations on the Hobgoblin, in my opinion the head is really what nails this MOC home, which in turn relies completely on the upper and lower armour bits. That triangular Chima/Ekimu armour is only available in that bright gold, so unless Lego decides to release an ultimately discontinued piece in different colours (that also match the Toa armour add-ons) this is all I can really do. I really want to make a Nightstalker though, so I don't think I'm quite done with Destiny yet. Thank you for the kind appraisal! For reference, I largely used this fella as my reference:
  5. I can't believe Bionicle is finally old enough to drive almost anywhere now.
  6. "Everyone has changed except for Emmet" sounds like the perfect jumping point to do that particular storyline. Kind of a weird thing to tease otherwise.
  7. Here's a Hobgoblin. "Guardian, I have reports of our scouts running amok of some unknown Vex programming appearing all over Venus. Flashy things, but don't let your guard down. I've already had too many half-cocked guardians fall trying to get a few trophies for themselves. I need you on the ground to see what they're up to and cut off the flow from where they're coming from. Oh and if you have the time, could you bring some of them back mostly intact? For, uh *cough* study. Of course." -Cayde-6, Hunter Vanguard ---------- At first glance a seemingly a new programming, they are much older than any Vex outside the Black Garden. They have been found only on Venus, primarily around the Ishtar Archives trying (unsuccessfully) to gain access. Dangerous, but not invincible, they are sought after by Hunters, Titans and Warlocks alike for any armor, weapons or information that can be pulled from them. ---------- I started building something "inspired" by Destiny's Vex race to celebrate 3 years of Destiny. But then I built the head and decided to go all-in and make this to celebrate the Beta for Destiny 2. I'm hoping Lego will at some point make that rounded Star Wars shoulder armour in this pearl gold.
  8. I'm thinking this will likely be more effective in General Discussion. Moving...
  9. #3 gives me what I wanted most from this story and never got; some good ol' Kaita. And the Artist's art knocks it out of the park as always.
  10. #6 is exactly what I wanted to see in this contest. Well done.

Hey this is still good. I love the shoulders and the flow and how deceptively similar in size it is to the original.
  12. This Graze Custom variant is the Herzenbrecher, cobbled together from a salvaged Gjallarhorn ground unit and some "appropriated" experimental tech. Piloted by the quiet and unassuming Aria Rossi, the mobile suit is able to draw from emergency power to run life support and targeting, thereby limiting use of the Ahab reactor core. This, coupled with the armour geometry, becomes virtually invisible to most radar and early warning systems. The Herzenbrecher is equipped with an experimental 120mm long-range rifle, an improved atmosphere drop module and concussion hammer. It can also be equipped with a specialty ground-use booster module. While appearing very heavily armoured, the Herzenbrecher is very slow and vulnerable. A skilled pilot would be better lying in ambush to strike first and pick off confused combatants. It is definitely better equipped as a support unit as any cqc or spearhead tactics would prove suicidal. ——————– A bunch of really cool people got me into Gundam Iron Blooded Orphans. The exposed mechanical parts and grimy feel of the mechs really drew me in. Plus about a million people have made AMAZING Barbados MOCs but only a handful of Grazes. The design I went with pulls a lot of influence from builders like Lu Sim, Caleb L and Andrea Chiapella, all of which I shamelessly stole designs from before I replaced them with whatever style I have. This MOC also takes heavy influence from one of my previous work, the Heartbreaker. Flickr Album
  13. Make sure to have this available for download soon, ok? Moving to Fan Created Media
  14. If you want a gritty Beauty and the Beast story, just reflect on the epilogue that inevitably follows the Disney movie; The New Sovereign is a shape-shifting monster who spent 3 years forgetting how to eat soup and just murdered the most beloved man in town and his queen is that one weird quiet girl that no one liked in 18th century France.
  15. Sometimes a superhero movie can just be eight dads. Eight dads and no children.
  16. TBH I think about this a lot and I'm pretty proud of all of you. It's a really good community.
