Entirely an accident! I was trying to get good pictures at night for no reason other than that I was impatient to post them online, and all I had for lighting at the time was a couple of LED flashlights. I wanted to give the feet a more "classic" 2-toed look because who doesn't like 2001-era Matoran right? The shin armour is there to fill out the gaps and attempt to blend the years together into some sort of cohesive build.

I had to look them up since I've never played Bayonetta, but I can definitely see a resemblance. Truth be told, it's very similar to the kind of look I wanted to pull off with this MOC.

I will say the LDD body is way too boring visually; it's square and blocky and doesn't flow with the really cool angles and panels on the head, but I don't really think there's a lot of ways to do a body that would refelect the style so ??? I gave Ekimu a prosthetic arm [that he of course made] because I felt it made sense for his character to have one, and there really isn't enough disabled characters in media doing great things.
