  2. Today I went to Subway for lunch and was wearing a light blue shirt. A uniformed cop came behind me wearing the same colored shirt. The cashier thought I was also a cop and gave me a discounted sandwich.

Today I bought an Obama ChiaPet.

Today I wore Batman leggings under my jeans to school. I had to change for gym so some people saw them, and rolled their eyes and laughed. Then the new kid pulled off her jeans to show her Superman leggings. Best friend? Yes.

  3. You're right that gangsta rap is dead, but so is classic rock XP. I know people like AC/DC have come back ~recently, but it's not quite the same..

And I offer Eminem's Crack A Bottle as evidence that classic rock has never gone as far as rap. Half of his new album is the same way. And I know cuz I looked it up.

  4. That's one thing that's not even objective. I've heard both of those (heck, I own almost all the AC/DC albums). Never do they explicitly chronicle sexual assault or other things not to be mentioned on BZP. I guess you're putting gangsta rap in a different genre.

  5. @Beloved: I hear your arguments, and you're for the most part right. I guess it comes down to the type of skill you respect. Personally I don't count fast talking to a beat anywhere close as that much of a skill as guitar shredding, but that's just me. Like if I had compared it to Nirvana, that'd be wrong, cuz even I can play 90% of Nirvana stuff. But people like Eddie Van Halen took a whole lot of practice to become that good.

On account of not knowing how much practice the GOOD rap you mentioned takes, I'll not judge it. Care to enlighten me?

In closing, it's all a matter of opinion.
