  1. The girl appeared a few times, actually, if you pay attention. =P

Also, i made this argument earlier, but, Norman's kinda stuck between balancing his new job, since obviously he's new to being a Gym Leader in Hoenn if they only just moved there, and being a good husband and father.

You don't get to see the actual faces of the characters, but I could feel that if Norman could've had things differently, he would've. But there's a very likely reason for Norman not being able to stay home and go to the show, but I can't say anything else yet.

  2. 1. as long as possible for the game. I've had some games last me more than 200 hours; some upwards of 400. Which is good, considering the games I get tend to be like 40 dollar games. =P

    2. Action RPG; hands down. Heck, go one step further and Action RPG Platformer is probably one of the best you could hand me... But those are admittedly hard to get right. I also like plain ol' RPGs, but, it depends on which I'm in the mood for. Especially since the Action Rpgs I like are a lot rarer than I'd hope. xP

    3. Music, music, music. Gameplay and graphics are one thing, but, music... It just is what ties everything together. Sonic 06 had horrible glitches and a horrible story, yet it had pretty amazing music at times, and while it didn't really save the game, it definitely made it less horrible.

    4. Depends. Horrible glitches can be bad, but it's really a combination of a lot of things.

    5. A LOT. To use an example from a game I played recently, there's one segment where you have to do something, shall we say, out of this world. THE FREAKING MUSIC AND THE SCENE THAT HAPPENED WENT SO FREAKING WELL TOGETHER THAT I'M STILL EXCITED ABOUT IT AND I'D'VE RESET EVEN MORE TO SEE IT OVER AND OVER. =D

    6. It can help a lot too. This kinda ties in with the above, but, if it's a jarring atmosphere, it's gonna be a bit less impressive. =P But if done right... Oh boy, then things just get awesome.

    7. Difficulty... Hmm, I like things that are just right in terms of difficulty, but I do like to play hard games too. Or things that are hard for reasons not the game's direct fault. (Looking at you Mega Man X6 and X7, those reploids can go away any time)

    8. Both. User Created characters are awesome, but pre-established characters just allow more things to happen sometimes. A mix, or a choice, is good.

    9. Mix of both. I can get lost in Skyrim sometimes, just because I have absolutely no clue what to do, except wander aimlessly. =P And while that's kinda the point in a way, I like the more traditional RPG style of slowly unlocking the world to explore, so you're not totally overwhelmed. And while totally linear games aren't bad either, depending on what it is, it's definitely nice to try and have a balance.

    10. I'm not totally certain, but, gonna agree with pahrak and say The World Ends With You. Once I got into the battle system, it was amazing. ^^

Bonus 1: THE BOX. (flying into space on a box, courtesy of Sonic 06)

Bonus 2: Depends on the game; all can turn out well, but heroic stories tend to be done well a lot.

  3. Blade, why are you suddenly as obsessed with Sharpedo as you are with the name Anna? =P I had to give up my planned Cradaunt for a Carvanha cause you were so insistent. And since Camerupt wasn't version exclusive, I don't think Sharpedo is either.

Milotic isn't bad either. Would've used one myself had I not just caught the original Eilonwy six months ago. She was one of the best members of my Emerald team.

Can't say until you two use Sharpedo; you'll like it a lot too. =P
  4. Member Name: Anna

Weapon: A gunblade that can house different bullet types, and switch between then with a switch on the handle; including a tracking bolt that allows lightning to chain between them.

Power: The ability to manipulate lightning/electricity for different powers.

Appearance: A tall female-styled minifigure with a green jacket over a pink shirt and a black skirt over navy blue jeans, with long braided-style brown hair.

Drift Force Weapons: Master Core - a mysterious sphere that can be used to summon Master Hand with 5 health to aid you in battle; once Master Hand is slain, a Shadow Clone of yourself with the same powers and equipment shall spawn with 5 health to help you.

The Masterball: This can be used to contain one Drift Force Weapon, allowing you to take two other Drift Force Weapons into battle with you each round. Alternatively, if you take only one other Drift Force Weapon into battle, contained within is the legendary Pokemon Mewtwo; Mewtwo spawns with 10 HP and can assist you in battle using psychic powers. Mewtwo can also mega-evolve into Mega Mewtwo X and merge with you, boosting your HP by 3 and giving you command over his psychic powers for the round and the ability to attack another player for 7 damage.

  5. 1. Depends on just how bad the gameplay is. If it's just bad in comparison to better things, then it's excusable. If it's a glitchy mess, then it depends on just how good the story is; some games are like interactive novels, because mediums evolve over time. And since everyone has their own preference, and no one thing is best, then it can work sometimes. But if it's something like Superman 64, or Sonic 06, or the E.T. movie cash in... Yeah, nothing can save that.

    2. Opposite of what I just said above. =P If a story is a wretched mess and just does not work, the gameplay would have to be good, especially if you have to sit through dialogue. Otherwise, a perfect example is Zero Wing: "ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US! YOU HAVE NO CHANCE TO SURVIVE MAKE YOUR TIME!"

    3. Neutral; there's good and bad DLC.

    4. By acting as expansions to the game.

    5. I have no examples on hand of good DLC, but bad would be like. "HEY WE JUST GAVE YOU THIS GAME! NOW PAY 60 BUCKS FOR THE DAY ONE PATCH THAT UNLOCKS EVERYTHING WE ALREADY MADE,BUT WANTED TO MILK YOU FOR!"

    6. Unsure.

    7. Mega Man X7, aside form the idiotic Reploid system. xP

    8. A combination of everything; good story that meshes well together, good gameplay that works and has only beneficial glitches(aka glitches that people like... Sonic 06, looking at you, you could've had great glitches, then you have Sonic randomly drop into lava.), a rocking soundtrack, good art design, and cool levels and characters.

Bonus. Immersion basically is like 'can I get into this game and enjoy it well, without having jarring and wrenching moments that break that feeling?', from my understanding. It's used a lot in, like, realistic stuff?

  6. 10/10, expected, hoped, delivered.

Also, OR/AS(And for that matter, everything since B/W2) has this awesome 'auto-repel' feature, where it asks you if you wanna reuse one after you use one once, when the old one runs out.

So, the water complaint is slightly minimized, especially with the new gridless surfing. =P

Also, it wasn't really an integral game mechanic in battle, it just showed which was likely. And Electric types reign supreme there, forever and for always. =P

  7. *is the only person who thinks doritos and mountain dew taste terrible together*

/has never tried both together, but agrees.

On their own they're okay, and Doritos, like cheetos from the 90s, are wrongfully dismissed just because of their association with gamer stereotypes; but together... Eh. It just doesn't seem like a good combination at all. =/
