Well, if I can recall correctly, don't the Toa Nuva themselves just keep putting on mask over mask and gain their powers? Does that mean that Takua could possibly use the Pakari's mask power? The Avohkii was kind of just the catalyst to his transformation (as in if any Av-Matoran put on that mask they would transform, too)

I like the look up this update, it captures Gorast well. The usage of four of the same hands adds consistency, unlike the old version, and the torso build is unique. Very nice entry, good luck in this contest!

Did they make pieces like that? Or are you referring to the copper Komau pieces?

Hm... Perhaps the lighting of the photo is what makes it not stand out? That or the bright red armour piece on top might make it look like it is blending in. To make it stand out more in the photos I'd recommend (if you have time) a small light box, or other contraption. Even if you just put some white paper into a cardboard box and shine a light over the top that may help, or possibly even just an artificial light source (sunlight is great for plants, but not the best for taking indoor photos ) hope this helps! It came with Hero Factory Recon sets in the year 2011. The sets themselves were designed online using a creator (where one of the chest options was the exclusive piece) but was eventually discontinued.

I love the re-creation of Photok! The torso build here really adds a lot of bulk, and the mask resemblance really helps to sell the look of a Gen 2 Photok

Nice! I love the mixture of the dark and bright red, as well as the gold. The combination makes it look like he is made of fire himself! One thing I might recommend is some of the trans-orange armour pieces, since his original counterpart had the trans-orange limbs. Other than that it looks pretty cool

While not Bionicle per se, how much does the Recon Team chest armour (the half clack, half silver piece) sell for? There has only been one listing on Bricklink, which sold for $30, so should we consider that the price for the piece? Also does it count as a rare piece?

That looks really good! The infection comes across nicely, if somebody came upon this by accident they would know that it was infected.

To be honest they're probably just in the sets for the purpose of being fancy masks, but if I had to choose a story reason for them to be there I'd pick the corrupt idea that this thread seems to be sticking with. Also because the shipper in me really wants another 'Onua saves infected Lewa' moment because those two just break my darn heart

Yeah, intro to Sociology courses are your best bet for dipping into the field, and usually contain just enough to pique people's interest. Glad to know that other people enjoy the field as much as I do hehe (granted I should enjoy it due to the fact that I'm majoring in it hehe)

Yeah, depending on the electives you take (if Sociology is your main focus of study) then it can open up a lot of opportunities. For example, if you take extra HR courses you can become an HR representative, or if you take some Women's Studies courses then you can apply for a lot of government jobs (they look for 'intersectionality analysis' which is essentially Women's Studies with a different name. It's also pretty general, like you said you took a course on social interactions in the work place, and I am currently taking one on family and how it has changed through a sociological perspective. It's a nice field with lots of future opportunities, and I recommend it for people who are unsure of what to take yet (since, if you're in first year, you can still take a lot of other discipline's first year courses)

In addition, if you are a newer member/inexperienced trader then they may ask you to send first if you are trading. For buying you definitely send the money first, as you are purchasing the item in question. Although if you happen to make an agreement that states otherwise, as long as both parties are okay with the terms set in the agreement then that should be fine

Is the Copper Huna displayed displayed the Proto Bar a perk for being an OBZPC? I've seen a few members with it and with full Proto, but in the Q&A topic it is described as 'Forum/Blog Assistant'

They're trying to set up a new story for both old and new fans, so establiighing things quickly makes sense here. Compared to 2001 there is still just as much mystery, regardless of how fast the content is coming out. To be fair, too, the majority of our memory is of the later years, where story content could be staggered due to the fanbase already having been established

Wow, this Krika looks fantastic! The spot where the legs attach was a bit off-putting on my first look at it, but it grew on me; it make a a lot more sense for them to be actual legs, and the cannon on the back looks very cool, too! Best of luck in the contest!

Yeah, I was considering trying to use the Faux-tuka as a gear function, since that would have helped it fit in more with Gen 2, but alas I couldn't get it to work well with the torso build And the pictures make him seem almost Protector-sized, but he is just a pinch shorter than Pohatu, I believe (if I can get a size comparison picture uploaded later I will definitely link that in my imgur gallery). And I agree on the Gen 1/2 idea, it does looks like Gen 1 with some CCBS tacked on hehe I was trying to go for an in-between look, since the Hordika are half-Rahi and half-Toa. However, the only Rahi we have so far is LOSS, and the exposed technic in his look inspired me to do the same for Nuju here Anyways I appreciate the feedback, perhaps once BBC #69 is over I'll find a way to introduce the gear spinning for he right arm
