oh lol yeah, I realised it came in other sets too, it would just be super convenient if the saber-tooth walker had a spare so that I wouldn't have to get some other set just for one piece but hey thanks Octo, I kind of figured it would have a spare since the HF minifigs come with an extra hero core, but that was too much of an assumption for me to actually buy the set. Although honestly, I'm debating whether I should just get the pieces I want from bricklink instead of buying the entire thing. It may be slightly less convenient than going to the closest store, but it would certainly save a lot of money.

I'm on the fence about that set really, it has some pretty cool pieces and minifigs, but at the moment there's only one thing that would make me actually buy it. so I'm wondering, does anyone know if the set comes with a spare for the tile on Gorzan's chest plate? you know, this one: because if it does, I may very well have to buy it

I've always used photoshop, however I generally just use it for subtle colour editing, such as adding more contrast. I will say that I'm not much a fan of moc photographs covered in digital effects, because when I'm looking at your pictures I'm definitely more interested in seeing the quality of your moc, rather than to which degree you can paste fancy effects. Also, I've seen a good few examples of people attempting digital effects and failing, making the picture less appealing than it was before. That said, I don't mean to be all "don't add effects to your moc pictures ever" because really, it can be pretty fun. But it's usually just not relevant in the presentation of a moc.

okay so due to timezone shenanigans I won't be able to work on my entry any more before the deadline. so I'm wondering, is the deadline carved in stone or is any extension being considered? I really don't know if there's a need for one, but an extension'd be exactly what I personally would need right now. obviously it's fine either way - I think entering this time around would be great fun though.

Agreed with DV on the horns. also I think their general shape is slightly off, they should ideally go out a bit further from the sides of the head, curve downwards to finally go back up. I also don't quite like the ball joint hair, I don't suppose you have hoses or flex tubes to fill that function? Otherwise though, I'll be looking forwards too seeing progress on this. There really are not enough Legend of Zelda MOCs.

Okay so I've mentioned earlier that I've gotten into music making. In Garageband, more specifically. The program has its limitations but I've found that I can go pretty far with it none the less. I've been working on this song for the past few days, and it's a theme for an original character who's basically this disturbing skeletal fleshmonster dude. wooooo, time for some new art [Full Image] Vezon is a pretty bizarre guy. I do wish he hadn't turned into a comic relief character, he had a lot of potential to be genuinely terrifying even after he was released from his position as a mask of life guardian. Or he could've suffered some dreadful fate or something, I dunno. I think he's devoured by Fenrakk when you defeat him in the Gameboy version of Bionicle Heroes. I enjoy the character concept a lot anyway, maybe I'll make a few radical redesigns for the fun of it. About the picture – I should say that the torso was an afterthought, and I think it turned out a bit too small. It does portray the overall physique which I intended, though. But in the end this is really only a sketch I worked with over a day, at a lack of better things to do. At any rate, critique is very appreciated. c:
