  1. Hard decision, but I guess I'll shamelessly self vote. There's just something I don't like about 3, although I almost voted for it, and it is cool.
  2. Okay, good, and yes, that's the piece!
  3. Oh, you will...but you never know when...or by who...or where...or how...so you live the rest of your life in fear of your surroundings.I wish Lego included more functions in their sets, like the good old days before 03
  4. Oh, yeah! Cyberslam was a little before my time, but I've seen the sets in some older instruction booklets, and I have been wanting them for a while! Teal, purple, functions! Awesome combination.
  5. They rip you off, steal all your sets which you so foolishly offered to get your precious minifigure, sell those, and run away to Azerbaijan, where they now own a popular Chimichanga franchise. But that's not all! On your summer vacation to Azerbaijan, they discover you are there and give you a free Chimichanga, with complimentary Nightshade.Ninja'd, so try this, ninjafier! The corrupter tries to corrupt this wish, but then decides it is impossible for his feeble mind. So, he takes it to a bunch of wise men living in a secret valley in the Himalayas, who also cannot corrupt this wish. So, he takes it to a tribe of rocket scientist monkeys in the Amazon, who simply wipe mud all over the wish. The wish has been unwished. And then, the impossiblity of the travel time and the wish being unwished promptly destroys all humanity, leaving only the rocket scientist monkeys, who learn to be afterlife ninjas so they can ninja you in your afterlife. Have fun with that, ninjaer!I wish I lived close to Brickfair.
  6. He goes poof, and the Mask of Life is safe...until Makuta sends an army of mutant Muakas to take it!!The Barraki's ambush by Teridax!
  7. Well, I have two Jallers (although I need the masks, and one arm has been massacred), Nuparu (I also need the mask), a Kongu (not sure on the status of this one, but I only have a green miru, somehow lost his teal one ), and I think I have some random spare parts like a white torso, spare black arm, blue and white legs, and maybe some other things. If you want these, I'll double check on their piece counts.
  8. Okay, so I'm thinking about your offer. I could use those yellow feet maybe, as well as any you have in blue and white, and if you have any Throwbots, in particular Jungle, those would be nice. What would you like for Takua and Pewku?Other pieces I'm looking for:Metru Chest Pieces (green and white)These pieces in black and brownSilver Hagah ShieldBlack and brown Vahki waist piece
  9. Any in particular you're looking for? I've got a few.EDIT: I've also been looking for a few spare parts lately, namely:Metru chestpiece: Brown, white, greenVahki Waist: Black, brown03 Matoran Upper leg/visorak pincer middle (L-shaped, 3 holes): Black, BrownThrowbot feet: Grey, brown, blue, whiteIf you have any of these, I'm sure I can provide enough McToran parts.
  10. Nidhiki originally died fighting a Bohrok invasion when Cahdok and Gahdok decided they could take over!Toa Inika get zapped by the Red Star!
  11. Very cool style, especially Tahu, which, for the challenge, turned out very cool.Jaller: The MoL style was pulled off nicely here, and I really like your versions of the pieces. The mask is a little asymetrical, but that's the only problem I can find! The shading gives nice depth, he's detailed without going overboard, and you can see the set design very well in him.Tahu: Just awesome. Simply awesome. Kinda seems like a Manga Mecha with those wings and low head, which makes him look even cooler. The details are awesome (especially the torso and the jets ready for lift off!), although a little cluttered, and the mask looks very cool. This is definitely going to be a serious competitor in the contest!Vakama: It's very hard to draw those technic axle limbs and Mata Head feet, but you pulled it off well (even though you kinda skipped the feet. ) The angular staff and mask looks cool, as well as the hands, and I really like that he's holding the Mata Nui and Makuta stones. Shading looks very cool, and even the black looks nice. I've always been a fan of the MoL Turaga vest, and I was glad you included it. The balls on the shoulders and hips look kinda large for the thin legs, but it kinda contributes to the "old turaga" feel. Great job on this one, another great competitor!
  12. Bohrok all the way! I like my sets to have functions (which is why post-06 is just sad to me), and the Bohrok have three! They could move their head to strike, smack their eye to steal/wear their Krana, and they roll into a ball for display! We continually learn more about them, and they're just mad destruction machines with a single purpose: clear Mata Nui.The Rahkshi were kinda dull. They had lots of powers, but it almost makes them seem OP. Sure they could swim their arms like any canister set up to 04, and I'll admit I enjoyed smacking their heads to fling the Kraata, butsetwise, kinda dull and ugly. Storyline wise, they're powerful armies of disposable minions that were way too common, but not well expanded on.
  13. That's a hard choice, considering Bionicle sets were kinda going into their death throes at the end. The build was engraved into any fan's mind, half the sets had less than 10 pieces, and the story was fading a bit. So, no, except for a condition. If we got a new body type (maybe for elemental lords), more vehicles, and more complexity, as well as an interesting story that you would buy the books for, then definitely, but as it stands, Bionicle needed to die before TLG worked in a different planet with completely different customs, but the same Inika build. Just confusing story, like a new line, but no new design.
  14. Okay, since Lego Universe first came out, and especially after it closed, I've been really wanting to make some Lego Universe armor minifigures. I was just wondering (since I temporarily have the power!) how much the rest of you were interested. Minifigs should looks something like this: Yes, I am currently working on a Stromling with transpurple parts. A group shot. So, would anyone else like this idea?
  15. I'm thinking the earlier instances of Fenrakk emerging from Lava (like on one of the comic covers, right?) is just artistic license trying to make him look epic. I guess, for all we know, Fenrakk slipped and fell into the lava once, and came out "stronger" with a lava invulnerability, which wouldn't really make sense when he's facing the Inika, but maybe it is triggered by thoughts. Someone thinks "Yes! He fell into lava! Now he's defeated!" And that's when the transformation triggers. That would make sense.
  16. I would assume it is unique, because BS01 always says "The Kardas Dragon," as in one. It's also very unlikely that Fenrakk would change into an existing species, and we haven't seen any other Kardas Dragons.
  17. I might as well contribute since I've been going trade crazy lately. GoodBionicle Raptor: Very quick to respond, items arrived nicely, and he even sent my extra shipping money back! So kind. Definitely recommended.Joller: He dealt well with my "negotiations" and changing order, but I managed to get a good price for quite a few sets. Little delay, but I can live with that. Recommended trader.Nick Silverpen: He also dealt well with my changes in what I wanted to send, and was fine with a few missing pieces. Little delay on my part, and in the end, I was missing a Piraka Eyepiece, but I blame USPS. Recommended trader.Wazzup4567: Yep, I'm indecisive, and changed my order again, but everything turned out great. He even included a complementary Kongu Mahri McD's toy my little brothers had fun with. Definitely recommended.Anthony_Dalek: Lost some money to Paypal and Shipping, but was fine with it. Items arrived faster than the estimate, which I really enjoyed. Definitely recommended.Meh TradersKnock Out: I'm sorry, but he just seems a bit expensive, but that might just be me being stingy. Almost did one trade, and then settled on another that worked out well.BadNone yet!In ProgressToa Kayn: Giving me way more than my trade was worth, partially because he enjoyed my epic. He's negotiating well with my changing agenda, again, and just sent off my side. I would definitely recommend him!Mylo Xyloto: Little slow on response sometimes, but so far, the trade is turning out great. As always, I'm changing what I want a lot, and he's fine with it. I'll post more comments once I'm further along.Wheeljack: An interesting trade, I'm modelling some pieces for him, and he's fine with the wait. He's put up with my endless specifications, and I'm liking the trade so far.Raiden: Toa of Storms: Another custom trade, he's fine with my attempts to remold a piece, as well as wait on another project I'm doing for him. Very patient there.Valendale: Dealing with my desparate attempts to find more missing pieces, and very patient. Hasn't responded for a little while, but I guess that's kinda my fault for not posting much of an update anyways.Total Trades: 11
  18. In Time Trap, Makuta traps Vakama in an illusion of an alternate universe where the Matoran who found the Great Disks became Toa (Nuhrii, Vhisola, Ehyre...) instead of the original Toa Metru, and sends Vakama on a scavenger hunt for clues about the Mask of Time. Eventually, Vakama breaks the illusion, and has this little discussion with Makuta.
  19. Fine, to get us back on topic, try this:"Since that would be a sadistic, cruel, demented thing to do, I naturally thought of you."-Vakama to Teridax, Time Trap (best Bionicle Book ever!)
  20. Well, I anyone wants the noble masks, I'm not 100% sold on it, so I think I'll take off my "first dibs", for now.And I guess I'll PM you Myo.
  21. Electronics and radiation could also be sub powers.
  22. Yeah, I know, but I can't afford an injection molding machine and all the molds I'd need. I wish I could for blended materials. And that's the most believable answer I've seen. I hope it's right!
  23. Actually, I like your Tahu the most of all, although your Takua was also very cool looking. The sketchy style and Glow effects look messy at first, but one I got a good look at it, the style fits. It almost seems like an ancient Matoran carving of Tahu. I really like the mask especially. :)Takua looks very cool, especially the mask, and the style looks good here too. Maybe a little less colors on the mask though, it just doesn't seem 'solid,' if you know what I mean.Vakama is a very original take. I did not expect an 8bit Vakama while looking through the entries! It looks very good, although tall, and the 8bit style turned out very nice. Some very good work you have here. I hope you continue doing more art in the future. Best of luck in the contest!
  24. What about a Lava wave? I'm just trying to get some ideas.
