  1. I've done it for the last two years, so why not do another? Here is my opinion on the movies I've seen so far this year in no particular order. Note: I do talk about some spoilers in each of these, so I'm putting them in spoiler tags. If you haven't seen the movie in bold yet and don't want it to be ruined for you, it would be best not to open the spoiler tag until you've seen it. You have been warned. Captain America: The Winter Soldier The Amazing Spiderman 2 X-Men: Days of Future Past Godzilla How to Train your Dragon 2 Transformers 4 Dawn of the Planet of the Apes So, these are my opinions on the movies I've seen so far this year. Here's hoping Guardians of the Galaxy is just as great as it looks.
  2. I was just listening to some BIONICLE movie soundtracks on BioMedia Project. While it's good for a nostalgia kick, I'm finding that much of the music is just as generic as I remembered. I don't mean that in the sense that it's not memorable or distinctive. It definitely checks both of those boxes. But there's nothing about it that makes it a particularly apt fit for the BIONICLE story and universe in particular. A lot of it sounds like it could just as easily belong to an adaptation of any adventure story, like an adaptation of The Lord of the Rings. Most of the instrumentation feels like very typical Hollywood adventure movie fare. Anybody else remember BIONICLEmusic.com? Something that's always stuck in my head was the description on the mixer page: "The music of BIONICLE is a mixture of the mystical and the mechanical. Like the Toa, it blends the power of high technology with a raw elemental force." The only music that checks either of those boxes in the first three BIONICLE movie soundtracks (at least the selections featured on BMP — I don't know how much they might be omitting) is the end credits music. In the first movie, the end credits movie has some very clear tribal drum rhythms, while in the second movie it includes both those rhythms and some synthesized electronic/mechanical sounds. The third movie's end credits music keeps the exciting drumbeats but for some reason loses the electronic sounds once again. I respect Nathan Furst's work here, and what he's capable of, but this is the reason these have never really ranked among my favorite BIONICLE music or my favorite soundtracks in general. What kinds of soundtracks do I generally like? Well, the soundtrack to The LEGO Movie is one good example. The music in that has a feel that perfectly suits the janky, stop-motion-style action that characterizes the movie. Likewise, the soundtracks for Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra both do a fantastic job evoking the Asian-inspired fantasy world with their rhythms and instrumentation. Even LEGO Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu does a good job with this — give this playlist a listen if you want to hear plenty of amazing examples. If next year's BIONICLE revival has a soundtrack even half as well-suited to the franchise as any of these franchise's soundtracks, I will consider it a major improvement. BIONICLE has had some fantastic music over the years, but I feel that in the movies in particular, it too often came at the expense of the soundtrack's sense of identity.
  3. So. Many of us like to have some sort of entertainment available to us, whether that be books, music, movies, video games, or something else entirely. And some of us tend to build up large collections of these things over time. So my question is this: for those of you who have large collections of things (either digital or physical copy) how do you go about organizing it? And do you use any programs to keep track of what's in your collection? For myself, books, movies, and to a lesser extent CD's make up the bulk of my entertainment collections. My books aren't currently arranged, but I think eventually I'm going to adopt the library system of organization, just because I work at one and I think the way they arrange books makes sense. CD's are arranged vaguely by type (film score/songtrack, jazz, folk/country/folkabilly, "classic", "other"). Movies just aren't arranged by anything, mostly because I'm still trying to figure out what method to use. Alphabetically doesn't appeal to me because I'd like to keep certain groups of movies together, like Disney titles or movies in a series. Going by director isn't really useful for similar reasons. I've thought about organizing alphabetically by studio, which has it's own compromises but would probably be the best. So how 'bout you guys?
  4. Man, Captain America: The Winter Soldier was awesome! If you have any inclination to see what the best Marvel superhero movie put out (not counting The Avengers) looks like, you owe it to yourself to see it. For those that have, I present some commentary: -CF
  5. I've spotted a few Bionicles in some films so I thought why not start a topic of spotting Bionicle toys in films/movies. Scene taken from the 2001 film A.I. Artificial Intelligence, Toa Mata Kopaka in the bottom right,a Vahki Zadahk also appears at one scene in the film Zathura but i'm only uploading one photo for this. Which movies have you seen bionicle's in? You could upload a picture of the scene for this topic.
  6. I did something like this last year when I had my blog, so I think its would be cool to make another one for this year. Here is my opinion on the movies that I've seen so far this year. G.I. Joe: Retaliation I enjoyed this movie a lot. It had good action scenes and some really cool characters. The story wasn't the best, but I kind of knew it wasn't going to be when I went to see it. Though it did have a few surprising moments in it, like the death of Duke at the beginning. Even though it was shown in the trailers, it was still surprising to see a main character from the previous movie killed off so quickly in this one. One would think that he would've survived somehow, but no, he was a goner. And I like that the movie didn't bring him back. It made the stakes even higher for Roadblock and the other survivors. The only thing I really didn't like about this movie was Cobra Commander's voice. It's just not the voice I see him having. But I don't know a lot about the G.I. Joe mythology, so maybe he has sounded like that before. *shrugs* Overall, its an enjoyable movie. Not the best, but still good. Iron Man 3 The first movie from Marvel since the Avengers was released a last year, Iron Man 3 was the summer's first big blockbuster. And boy was it a good one. I know many people thought the story had a few plot holes in it, like why didn't Iron Man use all of his suits when his house was being attacked by the people sent by Killian. And I know a lot of people were not too pleased with the surprising reveal of who the Mandarin really was. But still, the movie had great action scenes. (Iron Man saving all the people who fell out of Air Force One and the final battle are standouts.) Robert Doweny Jr. is just as great playing the role of Tony Stark as he was in the previous Iron Man movies. Guy Pearce was a good villain, with his Extremis powers and all. And the movie showed that the members of the Avengers could still hold their own in their own movies. The only real nitpick I had with the movie was when Pepper's Extremis powers were taken away. Sure, she could've exploded if she overheated, but I think it would've been cool to see her use her new powers in a future Iron Man movie (if one was made) or the next Avengers. After all, she did use them to stop Killian for good. And yes, I was a little disappointed by the Mandarin reveal. But the real Mandarin could still appear in a future Iron Man movie. (Again, if one is made.) Overall, Iron Man 3 is one of my favorite movies I've seen this year, second only to Star Trek Into Darkness. While it does have some plot holes, its far more than makes up for it with its characters and actions scenes. Star Trek Into Darkness And speaking of Star Trek, this movie is the best I've seen this year. It has everything in it to tell a great story. Interesting characters, funny moments and dialogue, and a few twists and turns in the story to keep one guessing as to what will happen next. Chris Pine, Zachary Quito, and Benedict Cumberbatch in particular all do great work with their characters. The reveal of who Benedict's character true identity is a great scene to watch. In fact, the whole story itself is really great. My favorite part of the whole movie is when the Enterprise is falling towards earth in free fall, and what Kirk has to do to save the ship and crew. Overall, if this movie is still playing in a movie theater around you, go see it. If you've already seen it, go watch it again. It's my favorite movie I've seen so far this year, and I can't wait to see it again. Man of Steel This is the Superman movie everyone's been waiting for. With great music and some surprising big stars in it (Kevin Costner, Russel Crowe, Diane Lane), this movie is one of Superman's best since Superman 2. Henry Cavill, the Man of Steel himself, does a great job with title character. The action scenes are some of the best I've seen this year. And unlike Superman's last movie, it actually has some real enemies for Superman to face. Zod and his crew were a great challenge for the Man of Steel. I did have a few complaints about it though. One was that it wasn't funny enough. Superman did make a few jokes in the movie, but he was really serious through the majority of the film. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but from what I've seen in the previous Superman movies, he was a little more lighthearted. Another was the fight scene between Superman and Zod in Metropolis at the end of the movie. Sure, it was awesome to watch and one of the best actions scene out of any of the movies listed here. But think of all the people killed in that fight! I read on another website that that battle alone would've killed thousands of people and cost the city billions of dollars in damages. It makes one wonder why Superman didn't try to lure Zod out of the city to avoid all that. Overall, this is a good movie. It's not as good as Iron Man 3 or Star Trek Into Darkness, but it does have some amazing actions that alone are worth the price of a movie ticket. Monsters University Pixar's first prequel to one of their movies, MU shows what happened to Mike and Sully when they were in college. Though I feel it's kind of 'Mike's story' than 'Mike and Sully's story.' Not that that is a bad thing. This movie basically is Mike's journey to becoming a scarer, with the other characters helping him on that journey. But I still liked these characters a lot. There was one other thing that I really enjoyed about this movie too. It was that it showed us what the Monster's world looked like. While some of it was shown in Monsters Inc., this movie showed us a lot more of it. Even though it's basically the same as ours, I still think its cool. Overall, this is a good kids movie that shows that Pixar doesn't need to have a sad story in it like Up or Toy Story 3 to make a good movie. The Lone Ranger When I went to see this movie, I had the same mind set that I did when I saw G.I Joe: Retaliation: it won't have the best story, but it will have good action scenes. And that would really be my opinion on it. Tonto (Johnny Depp) and The Lone Ranger (Armie Hammer) both do a good job with their roles. The story, while not the best, was still likable. And the Ranger's horse had a few funny moments in the movie. (To quote Tonto from the movie, "That is one strange horse." ) The villain, Butch Cavendish, was a little dark for this movie. He was a cannibal that ate a body part of the people he killed. That was something that was a little extreme IMO considering the tone of the movie. Overall, I did enjoy the movie. The action scenes on the trains were cool and Depp and Hammer both do a good job with their characters. It's an enjoyable movie if you take it for what it is. Pacific Rim Ever wonder how a 200 million dollar Power Ranger zoid battle movie would turn out? This is your answer, and it is awesome. This movie is simply giant alien monsters (Kaiju) vs the giant robots (Jaegers) humanity has created to defeat them. The battles between them are great and destructive. If you thought Man of Steel showed you how a city was destroyed, Pacific Rim does it tenfold. The battles destroy dozens of cities. Though to be fair, we're just shown a lot of the destroyed cities. The only city we really see destroyed in Hong Kong. The characters for the movie aren't the best in the world, but they're still interesting. My favorite is Stacker Pentecost, played by Idris Elba. He does a really good job with his role. Raleigh Becket (play by Charlie Hunnam) and Mako Mori (played by Rinko Kikuchi) are the other main characters, and they do a good job too. But Stacker is the best in this movie. Overall, if you go to see this movie, it's not because of the characters and their drama. It's to see Jaegers and Kaiji duke it out. And this movie delivers on that front. I plan on seeing the Wolverine when it comes out later this week. I've read good thing about it, so hopefully it will be good.

    Terrific Rim

Wonderful movie. It's a visual masterpiece (as with most Guillermo del Toro movies), and is all around awesome. Go see it. Now. I'm not kidding.

    LEGO: The Movie

Just saw the trailer for LEGO: The Movie. It looks pretty good and I am pretty sure I will see it when it comes out. Loving how it looks like stop-motion (or is it CGI? Hard to tell). -TNTOS-
  9. Saw it yesterday. It was a fun film and, having already read the original Wizard of Oz book, I caught some of the references to future events, although I'm sure there were a lot of references I missed, as I have not read all of the Oz books. I'd say James Franco was pretty awesome as Oz. I read they tried to get Robet Downey, Jr. first, which is a bit sad that they couldn't get him, but hey, James Franco is cool and he played Oz pretty well, in my opinion. However, this movie isn't the kind that you absolutely have to see in theaters, IMO. Getting it on DVD or watching it on some movie/TV streaming service like Netflix later on might be best if you aren't sure whether you want see it right away. -TNTOS-
  10. What's your favorite quote from Bionicle media? (Literature, Serials, Movies, etc.) Mine would be: "We have grown so powerful, since our arrival to Mata-Nui; Yet so frequently we are dwarfed by the mysterious forces in this place." -Toa Gali, BIONICLE Comics, Bohrok Saga Part 2: What lurks Beneath " Patience is no virtue when the ground begins to shake." -Kopaka Nuva, BIONICLE Comics, Bohrok Saga Part 3: The End of the Toa? "I know you like riddles, Matoro. Here's one: What's White, Gold and can't keep a secret to save his life?" -Jaller, Bionicle Legends #1: Island of Doom "So we find this mask-" "And quick-save the Universe! Just like past-old times!" Tahu and Lewa Nuva, Bionicle Legends #1: Island of Doom Wouldn't that be interesting? First thing I'd do, is find Makuta Teridax.... and give him a great....big... hug... -Vezon, Reign of Shadows "Entire crew decided to go take a swim all at once. Who would've thought?" -Takadox, Federation of Fear "Who shall go next? Spiriah the Sullen? Brutaka the Boorish? Vezon the Vanquisher? Or Lariska.....The wise, wonderful, and gloriously homicidal?" -Vezon, Federation of Fear "Hey guys, that's a rock. Remember me? I'm Pohatu. I do rock." Pohatu Nuva,Bionicle Legends #1: Island of Doom
  11. What ever happened to that huge project where like 100 people were making their own bionicle movies? It seemed like they would be good.

    Sucker Punch

Okay so my girlfriend bought it so we could watch it finally, and it was pretty good I guess. Snyder's stuff has always been weird. I understand that the film was meant to be a critique of the nature of the people who would go to watch that sort of film in the first place, which was a pretty bold move for him. Unfortunately his point was sort of muddled under an abstract plot that didn't spend the time to properly draw the parallels between the real world and the film's own fictional dream, so it sort of degenerated into a revenge/quest film as his point which was supposed to be the "sucker punch" at the end was just poorly executed and ultimately lost. On the other hand, despite how over-the-top his action sequences are (and how it feels like he and Tarantino would make an excellent team for some reason) they're just a lot of fun to watch. In regards to the new Superman movie, I think it will work excellent if Nolan sticks to the plot and ideology and Snyder is assigned to the action, since I've heard it said that Nolan can't direct action sequences to save his life. To be honest, I think his action is fine (if a little stilted and underdeveloped) but I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to their collaboration if they handle everything correctly. (tl;dr, Snyder's plots are muddled and it's about time we get a proper Superman film.) TWIST ENDING: SLY COOPER AND INFAMOUS ARE BOTH EXCELLENT SERIES AND I AM PROUD TO BE A FAN OF THEIR GAMES

    The Hobbit

Last night I saw The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. It was an okay movie, but honestly I wouldn't even think of nominating it for any "Movie of the Year" awards. I wouldn't even put it in my personal "Top Five Favorite Movies I've Seen This Year" list. Maybe I'd like it better if I'd read the book first, since I haven't actually read it yet. -TNTOS-
  14. what do you think? what if the slizers or throwbots had their own show? or even a movie? what kind of things would you like to see? personally I would like to see the monsters/elementals fighting the slizers. and since there wasn't much of a storyline the possibilities could be endless. heres one take on the idea the year is 2012 the planet is earthno monsters and mechanoids just us, (this is the story of what happened before everything became slizery) a "metoer" crashed to earth in trevor thunders backyard! the meteor was actually an electric disk. 8 meteors crashed in all! trevor goes to the neighborhood artifact dealer (micheal sinister) they find out that similar things have landed is the past. theese disks did not have powers but viruses that take control of things. so the series entails young trev and his friends (the other slizers) how they go and get artifacts to power up their disks. im not sure if its allowed (but if it is just tell me and i will remove this part) but if you like post your short idea of what you think it should be
  15. I finally saw Ruby Sparks! Wow, so good! Quite near being perfect (one little quip in the reply), amazing characters, well written to push characters to their limits and show them in various lights, and self-reflective on what makes a person and how you can't really change someone. I slightly teared up at the end. I hadn't thought a movie could do that for me, but it did. Quick summary: A writer who is terrible with girls starts writing the girl from his dreams, in hopes to get rid of his writer's block. Next thing he knows, she appears in his kitchen in the morning, freaking him out. Whatever he writes about her comes true. But should he use this ability to make her his perfect idea of a girl, or simply let her become the perfect girl for him, and vice versa? It's definitely one of my favorite films of the year. Do yourself a favor and check it out at Redbox. (Look up a trailer or two if you're apprehensive. It's NOT a romantic comedy.) Also, Zoe Kazan might be my latest celebrity crush. So cute! Also I can't wait to see what she writes next. (Knowing she wrote it also made me admire her acting at Ruby.) -CF
  16. -The Lord of the Rings (1978): After watching and enjoying the animated Hobbit movie, I figured I'd give this movie a try. It out to be utterly horrible. Rotoscoped orc-things, the merging of Fellowship of the Ring and Two Towers, and the campy intro are the worst parts of it.-Marmaduke: I'm not even going to explain how bad this filn is.-Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief: I expected more out of this movie, especially because it was made by Chris Columbus. They took an excellent book and ruined it. They aged the characters by several years in order to tap into the teenaged market and screwed up the story. And if I meet the person who added Lady Gaga music the Lotus Casino part, I'll slap him/her. -Eragon: Seems strangely like Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, but with dragons.
  17. I am the nupariddler!! if you dare test your knowledge of bionicle lore, please follow! pay attention to the color scheme of the letters that is you're first clue!!Who am I roaming far and free?I sent those that came from the sea! Those protectors that come from a different sector.New i am since i have given life to a dear old friend,A fiery fellow who's job is to defend a fort of sorts to the end.one more thing before i go i am not of water and i hate the snow,i wander every chance i get and make my turaga fret, can you guess who i am?
  18. I know some of these movies came out months ago, but since I don't know what to blog about today, I thought I'd give my opinion on them. (In no particular order) The Avengers: Easily one of the best superhero movies I've ever seen. Everyone in it got some screen time, with the exception of Hawkeye. But even he had his cool moments. Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, and everyone else in this also were amazing with their characters. This is, IMO, Marvel's best movie yet. Side note: It was also the first midnight movie premiere I've been to, as well as the first films I've seen in 3D since Sky Kids 3. Chronicle: I thought this was a very good movie. Using the 'found footage' way of filming (similar to Cloverfield), this movie shows what three teenagers do when they gained the power of telekinesis. Unlike Peter Parker or Superman, these guys use their powers like most teenagers would, causing ahem on a lot of unsuspecting people. All three of the guys who play the teenagers do a good job in this movie. Especially Dane DeHaan (Andrew), who turns bad as the film progresses. Starting out as a funny movie but then turning into dark one at the end, Chronicle is a great that should be seen by anyone who is a fan of superhero movies. Prometheus: This doesn't take the top spot on my 'favorite movies of the year' list, but I still think its enjoyable. It doesn't answer all the questions it asks, which might frustrate some people. And some characters don't really get a lot of screen time, which kind of makes it hard to care about them when things begin happening to the group. But the characters of Noomi Rapace (Elizabeth Shaw), Michael Fassbender (David), and Charlize Theron (Meredith Vickers) all do good jobs with their roles. The special effects are great too. In the end, I do recommend this movie. Just don't expect to get the answers to all the movie's questions. Side note: When the credits at the screening that my Dad and I saw started roling, everyone in the theater got up and walked out in silence. Seriously, no one spoke at all as we left. It was actually kind of funny. The Amazing Spider-Man: Definitely better than the abomination known as Spider-Man 3, this movie is a reboot of the Spider-Man movie franchise. Andrew Garflied (Peter Parker/Spider-Man) does a great job in this movie. Emma Stone (Gwen Stacy) and Rhys Ifan (Dr. Curt Conners/The Lizard) are good as well. Spider-Man has more a comedy side to him in this one, kind of like he is in the comics. Also, the actions scenes are great too. One complaint I have about this movie is that it retells how Peter became Spider-Man. The events do fold out kind of differently than they did in the 2002 Spider-Man, but we all pretty much know how he becomes Spider-Man by now. Of course, one might argue that they showed it just in case someone who watched this movie didn't know how he turned into the web-slinger. The 2008 Hulk movie, however, dealt with showing how Bruce became the Hulk by showing what happened to him with a quick montage of footage in the first five minutes of the movie. I think they could've done something similar with Amazing Spider-Man, but oh well. But still, I think this is an enjoyable movie that starts Spider-man's new trilogy really well. (though Spider-Man 2 is still the best Spider-Man movie, IMO) The Dark Knight Rises: See my preivous blog entry to see what I thought of it. *Hint. I loved it.* Well, these are the only movies I remember seeing so far this year. I did see John Carter too, but I don't remember a lot of it. (I do remember enjoying it though) So, what did you guys think of these movies?
  19. Non-spoiler: Never has a fantastic movie been so terrible. Or never has a jumbled mess of a film looked so great. Which is actually saying two different things. I had heard, going in, that it was very scenic and introduced some very nice "big ideas." I had also heard it had too many big ideas to satisfactorily answer even a few of those. What I did not know was that some of the things they put in made no sense and provided nothing to the story, or that there was potential for foreshadowing that was not followed up upon. Spoilers: What really got my goat was how cliche and stereotypical tropish so many scenes were. I had expected more from Ridley Scott. I'm glad I free passes, but I don't blame you for paying full price to see it (which apparently now is $12 at my theater D: ). But I also don't blame you for wanting your money back, or waiting. -CF
  20. Well, first off, I saw the Hunger Games on Saturday. I have to say, it was brilliantly done. Jennifer Lawrence is a perfect Katniss, and same with Hutcherson/Peeta. I also think they made Haymitch a bit more lovable, which I'm not sure yet how I feel about. But in all, it was really book-true, and captured the emotions really well (especially Rue's death). Finally a movie that really does the story justice. Next, I watched the new MLP and Transformers Prime episodes. In the case of Ponies, I had been getting kinda'... not disillusioned, but I just hadn't been enjoying the newer episodes as much as before. However, Hurricane Fluttershy cured me of that and reminded me why I love it so much. And I've not a lot to say about the new Transformers. It's good to see bumblebee back in action again, but needs more Soundwave. Lastly, I watched the first episode of Legend Of Korra, and the second is waiting for me at home. I gotta' say, the series holds a ton of potential. it's impossible to judge from a pilot, but it appears to have the same charm and light-heartedness as the original series. Glad it's back.
  21. I'm going to see it in a couple hours. Super stoked. Will post new entry with thoughts afterward. Also, when I get back, I can watch Hurricane Fluttershy and try to find those Korra episodes. Gonna' be a default good day haha.
  22. Earlier today, I finished the audiobook of Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games. This was my first time listening to a book and I must say I quite enjoyed it. If given the option, however, I feel like I would chose to read an actual book as opposed to listening to one being read to me. It simply comes down to the fact that I retain information better if I read it off of paper. As far as the book, I was not particularly impressed. I don't know if I bought into the hype too much or if people were more praising of the series as a whole. I am curious to know where exactly the plot goes now that the Games are over. I do not regret listening to the book. The development between Katniss and Rue was interesting enough, even though the outcome was unfortunate and predictable, given the premise of the Games. As far as the romance subplot is concerned, it's still a better love story than Twilight. Joking aside, I thought it was cute enough for a young adults book. I also saw the movie tonight. Honestly, I felt it was a genuine and sincere adaptation. It probably helps that Suzanne Collins worked on the screenplay. After all, J.K. Rowling was personally involved with the best of the Harry Potter movies. The pacing of the movie mimicked the book nearly perfectly; only half-way through the movies do the real Games begin. A few minor details are tweaked or all together left out to allow for a more naturally (and PG-13 friendly, in most cases) movie. For instance, Katniss never shoots anyone in the neck. Obviously, this would be too gruesome for some kids. And any significance the muts at the end of the games had is completely ignored. The romance between Katniss and Peeta felt less natural in the movie, primarily because you don't get the sense of time that stretches in the book. The costumes were downright amazing. Lady Gaga might find some inspiration from them. The biggest problem I had with the movie was the extremely shaky camera shots in most of the action sequences. The brawl at the cornucopia near the end is a blurry mess. It probably didn't help that I was on a lower level row of seats. I enjoyed the movie and enjoyed the audiobook. The themes of the first book were well played in the movie, but are much more subtle and candid throughout the book. I have the second and third to listen to. I am hoping that they will be able to keep my interest and live up to the expectations many of my friends have established for the series.
  23. Hey, This is the topic for the Lego Star WArs sets for 2012. Right now, I'm pretty excited for the Elite Clone Trooper & Commando Droid Battle Pack. The ARF trooper is pretty cool, a modified version of the origonal ARF trooper, but still cool, the Commando Droids are nice, it's about time they made some, the fact that they are not very accurate was disapointing, it would have been nice if they had built and colored them like the commando droids in Lego Star Wars 3 The CLone Wars. I think the best out of the minifigs is probably the ARC trooper, with all those cool accesories and colors, and the awesome new helmet, he turned out pretty great. The canon was a nice touch, they usually have some kind of accesory, and I think that the canon was a nice choice. The Genosian Battle Pack(I forgot what it's called ) also turned out great, I'm glad we have that new undead Genosian minifig, and the regular Genosian fig is also cool. The canon turned out to be well designed. The jedi apprentice (I forgot her name) is cool, nothing really special in my opinion, they have so many Jedi now, but if you're really a fan of that character, then that would be one reason to pick the set up. The clone trooper was also cool, the nice color designs on the armor were cool. What do you guys think?
