Welcome one and all to your one-stop wonder for everything about the Lego Video Games! Whether it be Lego Dimensions, Lego Star Wars, or even that one old Lego Alpha Team web browser game from 2004 - this is your place to talk about it! Let's consider this a bit of a test, hmm? There are some members - and many staff! - that are not convinced that a forum dedicated to Lego Video Games is worth it. For those of you that supported the idea, this is your chance to shine; perhaps if this topic survives and thrives, you can convince the detractors! (or maybe this topic will die quickly and prove them right, but let's hope not) Anyway, because I love you all so much, I've gone ahead and made a big ol' list of every major Lego video game release I can think of (not including any web browser games, nor any Bionicle games, both of which could also be discussed in this topic, I believe) right here: (Here's a list on Wikipedia BTW, with links to articles for most games) LOTS OF GAMES Lego Island Lego Island 2: The Brickster's Revenge Lego Creator Lego Creator: Knights' Kingdom Lego Rock Raiders Lego Alpha Team Lego Racers Lego Racers 2 Island Xtreme Stunts Drome Racers Lego Bionicle Bionicle: Matoran Adventures Bionicle: The Game Bionicle: Maze of Shadows Bionicle Heroes Lego Knights' Kingdom Lego Battles Lego Battles: Ninjago Lego Universe Lego City Undercover Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins Lego Legends of Chima Online Lego Legends of Chima: Laval's Journey Lego Legends of Chima: Speedorz Lego Minifigures Online Lego Ninjago: Nindroids Lego Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin Lego Worlds Lego Dimensions Lego Star Wars: The Video Game Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga Lego Star Wars III: The Clone Wars Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens The Lego Movie Video Game Lego The Lord of the Rings Lego The Hobbit Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 Lego Harry Potter: Years 5-7 Lego Rock Band Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures Lego Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues Lego Batman: The Videogame Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham AND MANY MORE HOO BOY So I suppose a simple question to get us started: what is your favorite Lego video game?

In your own opinion, do you think that LEGO have ruined the Bionicle Timeline, with these new sets that are coming out, should they have just stuck with the timeline that we are used to? NOTE: DO NOT JUDGE ANYONES OPINION! 1st post since 2014, YAY...

Displaying LEGO is always tricky, because dust is very annoying. It's something I constantly worry about with my displays on my shelf, because it is so very annoying to remove. It just looks ugly on display. While my plan is to use model car cases for things like the DeLorean and Curiosity Rover, and some big clear cases for minifigs to grandstand on, I would rather have a few figs stand out. I have some cases, but that's still not good enough. Things can be touched easily, and I am always rotating out which minifigs get displayed. So I found these little things that came with Pokemon toys inside them. They're relatively cheap (or cheap enough) and look great. (Brickshelf) The pricey minifigs in the upper pictures deserve a bit of separation from the rest of my collection. The chrome Star Wars figs shouldn't ever be touched with bare fingers, and the two Comic Con figures have a nice sentimental value. (Their high monetary value also garners them some extra respect.) The TRU Force Friday brick could be moved elsewhere more visible, but it's big and bulky and doesn't quite deserve to be unintruded. It's a nice piece of history though. The Avengers in the lower pictures were a gift for a friend. She had a few of the "main six" from the movies, but needed a few more characters to complete her collection. I put them in the display case on some bases adhered with sticky tack, allowing for the mirrors to really show them off. I have one more case which needs filled. I can fit 5 figures without overshadowing anyone, so it's just a matter of who. Something special, something cool, and something I won't want to take out to use in a vignette. I've got a lot of figs to choose from, so I'll make it count. -CF

Remember quite a few years ago when Binkmeister did a Death Star Roll at BrickCon?* Let's do that again at BrickFair VA! Except it won't be someone's sacrificed Death Star set. We'll build a sphere out of Stay and Play bricks and find a slope somewhere to roll it down. Maybe put the finishing touches on it at Adult Swim when everyone is already riled up and ready to see something wild. Let's remember this post in July right as we're ready for BFVA. -CF *IDK if it was even his or at BrickCon. Could have been at BrickFest PDX, and someone else's set. But then where did I hear about it if not on BZP or TBB?

What LEGO Ninjago sets or minifigures would you like to see in the future? They can be characters and costumes from Ninjago media like the TV show and graphic novels, or new characters and costumes you dream up! In this topic, you don't have to limit yourself to what's realistic. Yes, I know characters like Seliel from the LEGO Ninjago graphic novels aren't likely to ever appear as figs. But if that's a fig you'd like released, you're welcome to suggest it here! I'll start off. I'd love to see "Airjitzu Nya Flier" and "Airjitzu Lloyd Flier" sets, similar to this year's Airjitzu fliers. They would come with brand-new Airjitzu Nya and Airjitzu Lloyd minifigures. I don't know if there's ever any chance of this happening, but we know Lloyd already officially has Airjitzu in the story from when he was possessed by Morro, and I think Nya should get the opportunity to learn Airjitzu as well! The Airjitzu minifigures are very stylish and it would be exciting to see what they would look like for Nya and Lloyd's elements. I'd also like to see stone armor versions of Jay and Cole (from Episode 34 "The Titanium Ninja"). We got stone armor versions of Zane and Lloyd in set 70728 Battle for Ninjago City and a stone armor version of Kai will be appearing in this year's Target-exclusive minifigure cube (one of which was somehow obtained and auctioned off at BrickFair Virginia). But Jay and Cole are still left out. I'm not sure what would be a good opportunity to release those figs, but I would like an opportunity to add them to my collection! And as silly as it is, I'd like a Kendo Lloyd minifigure. Last year's minifigure cube included a Lloyd DX minifigure, a costume Lloyd has never officially worn. He wasn't even a ninja when that costume was current! But it still looked awesome. And the nice thing about a Kendo Lloyd minifigure is that it'd have a 2011-style costume for Lloyd underneath! So together with Lloyd DX's hood, it'd be like getting two new costumes in one!

I'm sure that we've all at least heard of the newest original theme destined for Ninjago proportions, Nexo Knights. I've been craving some good ol' Western-style fantasy ever since the LEGO Kingdoms line ended (2013 Castle theme is utterly irrelevant) and as much as I'd love to see the return of the Fantasy Era style of Castle, I'm quite eager to see Nexo Knights go places. So, my question is: What do you want to see? I'll kick off the discussion on the note of Merlok 2.0. I'll be honest, I love the concept of this guy. He puts a bit of a spin on the wise mentor character we've seen in every, I repeat, every original theme with a story by making him everyone's personal J.A.R.V.I.S. This is a pretty good example of what Nexo Knights should be in my opinion; the same tale with everything changed. With that, I'd love to see some spins on some fantasy archetypes such as dwarves, trolls, skeletons, wizards and, most importantly, dragons.

It's still early enough in 2016 to reflect on 2015, so let's talk about great LEGO sets from last year. Specifically, I will be drawing from my own building experiences. Admittedly, regrettably, I still have a few 2015 sets unbuilt. I don't want to become the AFOL stereotype of having hordes of boxes of unbuilt sets. These are not yet built because I thought I'd review them and then I never did and then I realized that Jurassic World sets and Quicksilver's Avengers set would never be on store shelves again after their initial run. But I doubt they'd make this list anyway. The list of my favorite sets stars off with General Grievous, who has a fantastic build and looks great on my shelf. That's saying something, because it's hard to be surprising with constraction sets nowadays, and because I like to think I cannibalize my sets pretty quickly after getting them if I'm in a building phase. But until I build a tan Bionicle MOC, Grievous is here to stay. People can argue about the price, but for the satisfaction of a 45 minute build that is quite intense, it's worth it. I also had the pleasure of building the Helicarrier with 55555 thanks to Toa Lhikan Hordika buying it and then we did a livestream to build it. Good times. It's huge, it's iconic, it has a great build. And I didn't pay for it but got to build it anyway; you'll have to ask TLH if it's worth the $350 plus motor pack. (I bet he'll say yes.) The Doctor Who LEGO Ideas is also worthy of a mention. It's got the minifigs, it has the TARDIS interior and exterior, and it's reasonably priced for a licensed set. Unfortunately it doesn't come in numbered baggies for staged building within the instructions, which means you are searching for parts a lot longer than expected. And finally, I can not forget the Millennium Falcon! It's iconic, has a great build, comes with great play features and hosts some great minifigs. I'll be keeping this displayed on my shelf for at least a year before realizing I need grey angled plates for something. These were my favorite. I build some more, but nothing as stand-out like these. I've already got my hands on a ton of 2016 sets however, some of which already look amazing, and some which can be criticized too. Now to find time to build some.... -CF

LEGO sure has a great thing going on with the new Nexo Knights line. I've already bought $110 worth of sets, and I don't think I even spent that much on Chima and I certainly didn't on Ninjago. But these Knights are something different entirely: They've got the sci-fi aspect which I love mixed in with the Castle theme I respect and want to eventually build. Plus all the new parts look fantastic! I would have bought more Ninjago and Chima sets if I wanted their parts (I might get some steampunk ninja pirates this year), but the stuff the Nexo Knights has is getting me excited: The shield power-ups, the dark blue lightsaber hilts, the pyramid cheese slope, and the new 4x4 pointed slope brick to name a few. So I got slightly worried when I realized we'll be getting even more sets like these this summer, and next year and the year after and on until LEGO feels like stopping. So I'm going to need to rethink my budget with everything LEGO is putting out this year. Right now I'll just be integrating these Knights' torsos into space suits. -CF

Windy makes a game part 2: The Music Game~ So this game is pretty simple. A brief description: you take the song or album name posted before you and make it LEGO-related (Bionicle included, of course). Then, to end your post, offer a new song or album name for the next poster. Example! Starting post: "A Thousand Miles" Post 2: "A Thousand Bios" On Avery Island Post 3: On Mata-Nui Island "There's a Place in the World for a Gambler" etc.! If you get stumped, you can probably get away with working with the band name instead! So, it might be a good idea to include that information in your posts. RULES: 1. Keep it LEGO-related! Of course, the song/album you provide to get LEGO-fied does not have to be. 2. Keep it clean! Song/titles/album names should be appropriate if possible! Sure, we have a word filter, but I say this because "######" is difficult to work with. : X 3. Bonus points for really obscure songs and albums, you silly hipsters. 4. I dunno, just have fun or something. So I will start with: "There's a Place in the World for a Gambler" by Dan Fogelberg. Go!

Lego Space has been a big thing for me recently. So I decided to tie every single subtheme of it together as best I could. Criticism/comments appreciated. After years of research and work, the people of Lego Town are finally able to launch a large fleet of space explorers. The CLASSIC explorers, as they would come to be known, station themselves on the moon and begin studying it and exploring the surface. Eventually they discover a cache of rare materials, and one of the higher ranking officers is struck by greed. He and his followers steal the materials, launch an assault on the main base and take off into the depths in their ships, forming the BLACKTRON. They will go on to plunder power sources from around the galaxy, becoming more deadly in their attempts to rule all of space. The other astronauts are able to bounce back from this betrayal and form themselves into the FUTURON. They have more advanced weaponry and vehicles, but are largely still an exploration crew. They create a SPACE POLICE subdivision to counter the marauding Blacktron pirates. After several clashes, the Space Police are forced to destroy, not capture, most of the Blacktron. They do, however, take some of the more important officers into custody. With space now considered a safe zone and with the Futuron having established a firm colony on the moon, Earth launches a second, more advanced exploration team, the EXPLORIENS. The Exploriens travel deeper into Space and encounter an icy planet; they create a small ICE PLANET detachment. They feel the ice planet could hold the secrets of the Lego world's past. They also encounter a few other alien species. Several years later, the Blacktron have rallied more support from the depths of space and have rebuilt themselves into the more militarized BLACKTRON 2. However, the Space Police expected a new threat and also upgraded into SPACE POLICE 2. The new Blacktron have incredibly powerful ships and cloaking devices, allowing them to initiate many successful raids on the Futuron and even some direct assaults on Earth. The Space Police cannot match them, and contract the Ice Planet astronauts to build a powerful satellite that will disable all Blacktron ships. Meanwhile, the peaceful ZOTAXIANS (Insectoids) that have been fleeing from the tyrannical HUMORLESS (U.F.O.) have been forced from both their home planet and the insect world where they had hidden. They wind up on the ice planet and help to defend the odyssey base from the Humorless. The Humorless easily overpower both groups and the satellite is destroyed. A few Zotaxians are able to escape with the main branch of Exploriens. Without the satellite they relied on, the Space Police are destroyed by Blacktron and the Futuron are terrorized and relocate to the dark side of the moon. The Futuron split into two groups: the militaristic UNITRON, and the worker-class M-TRON. Both groups are constantly sabotaged by the mysterious SPYRIUS, whose origins are clouded. The Blacktron are considered the rulers of space. Many years later, Earth launches a third team in secret to Mars, in the hopes that they will find new allies to counteract Blacktron and Spyrius, as well as the lurking Humorless. The LOM team meets friendly Martians and establishes a base there, free from Blacktron influence. A few years later, after contact is lost with the LoM team, another group is sent. They are tasked with discovering the fate of the Martians and the LoM agents as well as collecting energy crystals for a new space presence.... This MARS MISSION team finds the Martians and LoM agents dead, but it is not the work of Blacktron or Spyrius.... The ALIENS attack, invaders from another part of the galaxy. They also try to claim the crystals, but the efforts of the heroic Mars Mission group defeats them. However, the leader of the Aliens leaves them with a grim message: This is only the beginning. The energy they collected was for SPACE POLICE 3. These third generation officers track and arrest the evil Humorless and rogue Zotaxians, as well as other galactic scum. The Spyrius manage to evade them, but they find a match in Blacktron. Earth is later attacked by the CONQUEST ALIENS, a more evolved form of the aliens encountered on Mars. However, Earth has been preparing and launches the ADU. The Conquest Aliens stand no chance and are quickly defeated. The ADU upgrades their gear for deep space and heads off to find the source of this threat. The GALAXY SQUAD tangles with the true masterminds of the invasion, the BUGGOIDS. Their clash continues to this day. *collapses onto floor*

Which sets have you bought multiples of, and why?
KopakaFan116 posted a topic in Bionicle Discussion
Have any of you guys ever bought more than one of specific set(s)? Which ones did you get, and why? I just bought 3 of 70787 Gali Master of Water because of her nice array of pieces and what a good set she is. -

With the Adrenaline forms being added to the Toa/Masters, I finally decided to get some art done of Tahu ((2015)) with his Golden Mask going into Adrenaline mode, and here it as. Now as per the norm with my BIONICLE Art, its anime/humanized, but I placed the mask on so that way it looks BIONICLE as much as possible in my style.

And by "war" I mean running a Bionicle event by myself for 30 children. Unfortunately, I didn't get any leftover purple limbs. But I got plenty of trans-green and keetorange shells, which means I won't have to buy a second Protector of Jungle (though should BrickLink some of his swords). Of course, parting out this grab-bag of leftovers makes me think I need to sort out my Bionicle collection again before I actually put these to use. I've got a box full of scrapped MOCs to disassemble before some ideas are realized. -CF
