Friar Tuck

IC: Dece wondered if he should talk, but was not sure if he could help. The Pa- Matoran's words have impressed him, though some phrases he did not understand. Was there a strength in the Matoran? But Matoran are so much more frail than a Toa, a Skakdi, perhaps even a Turaga; any other group could crush them. Though Dece has one power that can help...Finally he said, "I might know something, maybe. I have been getting these...visions, though more often than not they are confusing. The Toa Mata are in one of those dreams, confronting a vortex. Then both the vortex and the Toa Mata vanish, leaving only a soft breeze.""But I am not sure how much help I can give beyond that," admitted the Fe- Matoran, "I...only remember the last two days, nothing prior. Could you fill me in on who the Chronicler's Company was? And perhaps something on the Mangaia?"

IC: "I'm afraid that I only just heard of it," Tarotrix replied. "I was stationed by the Onu-Koro Gate, so I was far away from the incident." He turned his head towards Vestrix, and told him to find a medic. The rookie rushed out of the doorway. "Why don't we all move her to someplace away from the door, to a bed, perhaps?"

IC (Mevi): "I think we can do that," Mevi said. "Just be careful so that we don't rip open a wound or something."After a bit of struggling, they managed to move the unconscious Toa onto a bed in Ta-Koro's great fortress. A Matoran medic had already arrived, but it was unclear if he was making any progress in treating the Toa. Turaga Vakama had followed the group and was watching silently from the door. Mevi met his gaze, but shook her head. Still no response from the Toa of Water."What do we do now, then?" Mevi groaned. OOC: Kughii, I'll let you decide when and how your character wakes up.

IC:MihaMiha finished wrapping up Venator's wounds and turned towards the leg. "Darn, Virthee's still not back." she muttered. "I was hoping that he'd come back and help me, but I guess not." She sighed and reached up for a medical book she had been reading. "Alright, how to fix a broken leg..." Fiva"So, are we going or not Zyck?" FIva asked. "I don't think you ever actually answered me, and it's been almost half a day." OOC:Feel free to have Virthee come back and help his daughter TDC.

IC: Dece froze, as the Le-Matoran added his piece. "Is this Kini-Nui the color of sand?" he asked, "with four towers around it?" The Fe-Matoran might not know much of this world, but he oddly still knew the language of the Matoran. And Kini- Nui meant Great-Temple after all...Dece waited for the others to inform him as to what Kini-Nui was, and also to teach him what the Chronicler's Company was and the Mangaia. He was fine with any of the other Matoran explaining it to him, but he needed to find out what those parts of this world were and soon.As he waited for a reply, Dece wondered how the five of them would be able to help defeat this Makuta without the aid of someone with real power. Sure Dece had his visions, but he was passive to them and had no control over when they occurred. He didn't use that power, it used him. And even then it was all jumbled up and confusing to understand.

OOC: Sorry for the delay. IC: "'Kay then, there you go." Enara said as she exchanged the vial of protodites for 300 widgets. "Mind if I tag along? These rumors seem interesting." she asked Lost (against all better judgement... she told herself).

IC: Zyckel "I don't know, Fiva!" He snapped at the Toa of fire. "I need to think about this first!" IC: Virthee "I wish you luck and a quick recovery." The Toa of fire said smiling. "But I must be returning to the village. I don't know what may have happened in my absence." He turned, heading back toward his home/hospital.

IC:Fiva"Okay, okay. Someone's temperamental today..." IC:Miha"So, first I try to move the leg back where it was so it grows back correctly." Miha said, looking around for the correct tool. "I guess that's what this hammer's for..." she said, lifting a large hammer.

IC:FivaFiva slid back over to Zyckel. "I know that, and you know that, but those annoying adventurers don't know that. They think you should drop everything and go with them just because they asked you. And it's been a few hours, so I figured that they'd be coming back, as they just did." Fiva said. "And if you want I can stall them until you make a decision." he added quietly. Fiva slid back to the adventurers. "Sure I do! Just go down the street towards the Kohli Stadium. There should be a few trampled-to-death bodies."

"I might know something, maybe. I have been getting these...visions, though more often than not they are confusing. The Toa Mata are in one of those dreams, confronting a vortex. Then both the vortex and the Toa Mata vanish, leaving only a soft breeze." "But I am not sure how much help I can give beyond that," admitted the Fe- Matoran, "I...only remember the last two days, nothing prior. Could you fill me in on who the Chronicler's Company was? And perhaps something on the Mangaia?"

IC: Atiel chuckled. "Well, we're talking about mysterious ancient ruins, the disappearance of great heroes, and an incomprehensible evil. It doesn't take a genius to realize they're connected!"

"So, where should we go? and why did you call us here?" Nichou aksed

IC: "If we want connections between ancient ruins, disappearing heroes and an incomprehensible evil, then should we not start at the Kini Nui?" Lepidran suggested, eager to help, "That is all three."

IC: Dece froze, as the Le-Matoran added his piece. "Is this Kini-Nui the color of sand?" he asked, "with four towers around it?"

Ic: "Somehow, your reason leaves more to be desired, Atiel," Stannis countered. "We will investigate the temples, but I think Lepidran has a good idea. The Kini-Nui is where the toa went before descending to the Mangaia, and it might be the best place to start. And Nichou, if you were paying attention, you would have had your latter question answered," he said, his tone betraying his otherwise stoic face. "Dece, we will have to investigate your visions," Stannis said slowly. "Whoever sent you here has to have a reason, and we will have to use your gift wisely, and please tell us as soon as you have any others. But the memory... The Kini-Nui is our great temple and gathering place for ceremonial occasions, and it also has the gateway to the Mangaia, which we have learned is the lair of the Makuta. That is where the Toa went before they vanished and where the Chronicler's Company stood watch for that time. The temple itself is safe, however. The Company was formed by Ta-Matoran chronicler Takua and included matoran from all the villages as a small escort force, and it is since disbanded."

OOC: I know Av-Matoran don't exist here, and that odds are no one knows that Matoran of Light even exist. The fact that Dece thinks Av-Matoran exist is important to his character, but no one else.IC: Dece widened his eyes, as the information reached him. This was not the first group of Matoran warriors to exist, and though the prior one had ended Stannis hadn't claimed that they had died. In fact the group survived when the mightiest of Toa failed. Perhaps Matoran were not so weak compared to the many Toa and Skakdi of the island. But what let them survive?Suddenly Dece realized something. "In the vision, the Toa Mata and the vortex vanish," said the Fe-Matoran, "Though enough of the violent winds remain to make a small breeze. What if the vortex represented Makuta? Maybe the Toa Mata hadn't failed completely so long ago? If Makuta could kill the six strongest Toa, he could have conquered this island long ago. But he has not yet. Maybe the Toa dealt him a blow that stopped him from progressing?""Who were the Chronicler's company?" asked Dece as a follow up, "Was it made up of all types of Matoran from fire to light, or only ones from the six main Koros?"

IC: Dece nodded and clicked, "Would the former Chronicler's Company have returned to their old Koro after the team split? Might Takua still live in Ta-Koro? And if there were other Ta-Matoran on that team might they also be here in Ta-Wahi? We could ask them for information while we are still in Ta-Koro."The Fe-Matoran wondered to himself what others thought about his theory on the Toa Mata. Could their dying actions have saved the Matoran? Could their deaths have had a purpose? Dece thinks it is possible, but since he has no memories prior to two days and a half ago he has not had the death of the Toa Mata drilled into his mind for a century.

IC: Even as he sprinted through the trees, the Toa of Crystals periodically glanced down, assessing the younger toa's injuries. He saw a few bad cuts, for starters. The kid had definitely lost a good deal of blood in this fight, probably from that particularly nasty gash in his leg. "Ow, looks like it's almost halfway through," he said with a wince of sympathy, even as he leaped clear of a fallen log. Hitting the ground running, he glanced down again, as the burnt foliage began to thin out. He was also peppered with bruises, probably worse than Tarex had ever seen or been the recipient of. "Well at least it doesn't look like he took much more than that..." Still, something looked off. Now in another, smaller clearing, he had a little time to focus on specific regions... "Oh, that has to be karz." he muttered, having finally pinpointed the last injury. Yeah, dislocated elbows generally were. Okay, now that I've got all the injuries accounted for, I need to get him to a hospital. Ta-koro has to have one... he thought, even as he burst into the open and sprinted in the gate's direction.

IC: Virthee The Toa turned back, gratefully taking the dagger. "Thank you, but I am afraid I can not accept your offer, I am needed in my home village, It is my duty." He looked at the interesting dagger. "And should any of you need me, send word and I will come to help."

IC:MihaMiha looked around. Seems like Virthee's not coming. She thought to herself. Here goes nothing! She swung the hammer down at the being's leg, hoping that he wouldn't wake up while this was happening. OOC:So TDC, is Venator that unlucky to wake up at this precise moment?

OOC: Yes, Venator is. :P IC: Venator The Toa awoke with a start, only to see the hammer come down on his injured, but not broken knee. "YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" It could be heard throughout a wide distance. IC: Virthee "Why yes, her name is Miha. I have been taking for of her since she arrived here around eighty years ago." The Toa smiled, nodding slighty.
