IC: A moment later, a gunmetal and silver Toa cautiously hauled himself out of the water, thoroughly scanning his surroundings.Feeling safe for the moment, Jolek drew himself up to his full height, towering over the smaller martial artist, nearly three full feet taller than Hau."All clear, looks like." he mumbled.

IC: Looking to Jolek, Hau grinned. "I feel for ya, dude. I'm lucky to have escaped."The toa then turned to Eamerzon. The martial artist had came to the gradual realization that he was hungry as well. He hadn't eaten since Ta-Wahi, and all the fighting, swimming, and travelling was leaving him burnt out.To karz with it all. Before they went seeking the mystery or whatever Sucogu wanted, Hau'd get some grub."Yeah, let's eat," the toa declared. "Same place as before? They looked okay, 'sides from that one guy," he added.

IC: VranaHe turned back to the being, a calm look over the rage building up inside him. His black feathers would be useless on his wings, he would not be able to fly until his next molt, and that was a while away. The person had knew just how to strike a nerve in Vrana, even if he had never intended to do so. With a deep inhale, to calm himself enough, or what he hoped was enough, he began to speak in return to the wolf-man."If we act like they want us to act, then what are we? Are we not exactly what they want us to be, creatures to fear and destroy? Why is that, why would anyone want that. To be considered a monster, to be hated and feared by all. That isn't me, I'm not what they think I am. I've chosen not to be, I have chosen that I am not a monster. But it seems that the Toa and Matoran have not all made their choice yet. They look down on those different, attack them."He turned, his winged back hunching slightly. His white eyes seemed paler than ever, and misery covered them like a fog."But, there is no reason to try to change things, the villagers are set in their ways. When a creature different from them serves it's uses, they try to slaughter it for no reason but that they can. There is no life for the different here, and my species is not common enough to stand up against that image. I''m better off just ending it now."

IC - Sucogu - Outside. In the open. Someone ATTACK him already. D:The Toa nodded."Food sounds good to me."He gave Jolek a dual-fingered salute. Then Slife came up from the water."Thank you, thank you Ladies, Gentlemen, and Fireflies.""You didn't address Eamerzon." Sucogu mumbled unaudibly. He slapped his hands together."Same place, then? The EPIC TEA was pretty tasty, in my opinion."

IC: Havon"Well, either that, or we could see to the protection of the chronicler's company, Skyra seemed pretty convinced Makuta want's them dead, keeping them alive would frustrate his plans."

IC (Dekuna): "The chronicler's company? Let's see, Tamaru is dead, that's a start. Word around the koro is that Macku has gone into hiding, but if the Makuta can't find her than neither can we. That leaves four others, in Ta-koro, Ko-koro, Po-koro and Onu-koro. As for the Kumu Islets, not many matoran live there, so we wouldn't be protecting as many as we could in other places, though I agree that area could use some extra peacekeepers."

IC: Cyrax + ArgentumCyrax turned and walked over towards the training field. She found a dummy, and, positioning herself, starting hurling crystals sharp enough to be weapons.Meanwhile, Argentum turned around, trying to find the Le-Matoran who he had met just now. He found them soon.Argentum: Uhm... Hey.... If you're selling anything, do you have a Great Kanohi... and some armor that fits me?

Kalama nodded at Janice."Seawoman let the Marines know to watch for a Gukko. And for Mata-Nui's sake SOMEBODY relieve Private Moriha before she takes a potshot at something else! Stick her on escort duty if she's so keen to kill something!" The Leftenant ordered.-------"Mayhap have something fit for a Toa-Hero..." The Le-Matoran rummaged through his wares. Shortly he produced a set of armor. While it wasn't full head to toe, it would at least protect the more important parts of his body. "Have-not many-much masks of power Toa-Hero. Only three worthy."He produced a Akaku, a Matatu, and an Iden.-------Tanuka looked at Agarin. She seemed to straighten somewhat, trying to mimic him but seemed to have trouble squaring her shoulders like she was afraid of making herself a bigger target.

IC: Vrana's protests and wishful remembrances of past days went right over Dathros' head. "Well, do you want to die out like this? Alone, unknown? If we can't change toa's hatred of us we might as well give them something to hate us for."

IC (Hatann): As he circled above the koro, the Skakdi saw several ships, moored in the bay or beached near the koro. Some of these seemed well armed enought to be pirate ships or navy vessels, but he could not tell for sure, as none were flying the jolly roger. His search complete, he guided his gukko down to the village, and, once again, headed to the local inn to ask for information. With his fingers still shaking from gripping the gukko's saddle for hours, Hatann Strode up to the bar with Moylan and demanded a drink. When he was given a pot of tea, he almost punched the bar-matoran. Tea? Really? At least there was grog in the other koros. Still in a foul mood, he approached a group of tea-drinkers at a nearby table. Not at all in the mood to bandy words, he growled at them "Look, you lot, I'm looking for someone. You heard of an Odhran round these parts?"IC (Dekuna): The Hau Karda were rudely interrupted by an angry-looking Skakdi in black armour. Dekuna didn't like the way it was barging in on their conversation in such an intimidating manner, and was having none of it.“Look, mister” he snapped back “Have some tea and calm down. If you want to talk, have some manners, would you?”

IC: Ghar-Knel nodded and watched Ga'mal fall asleep. What was he to do?Perhaps his dreams would tell him something. So, the Vortixx wandered off to sleep. What he saw was an island. No, more of an islet. And who else was there but Solaris, Miptel, and Kahua running from a horde of Rahkshi. So the Kumu Islets. He wouldn't go back there. Too dangerous. For now, he would wait for them to come to him.The Rel decided it needed some more rest. The night was still dark, and it didn't want to go walking blind. So it closed its eyes and hoped Solaris and Ghar-Knel would live for many years.

IC(Ga'mal)

Dreams. Ga'mal was always dreaming. Most were terrible, but this one...this one was nice.Ga'mal walks to the back of her cart and pulls out a medium sized sword. She checks to make sure it was as sharp as it could be. The last thing she wanted was to fight Solaris with a dull blade."Ready," she says to a being who was standing next to her. It was Ghar-Knel. He was decked out in a full warrior's outfit; complete with armor and weapons. He was also ready to fight."Good. We fight. Now.""Whatever you say, Ghar," she replies as she follows close behind him. They approach two beings who were standing on the lily pad floor of Ga-Koro."They're coming to kill you, Solaris."So. The Rel was here as well. That made it even better.Ga'mal charges forward and plunges her blade into The Rel. He cries out before withering to the ground. No magic could save him from her wrath. She continued to stab the sword into the being as Ghar-Knel charged toward Solaris. There wasn't much of a battle, and Solaris was on the ground. His cries for mercy did no effect on the Ga-Matoran. This was the one that Ghar-Knel was after. This was the one he had sought revenge on; the one they were to kill. And she was determined to help him do just that.Ga'mal slowly opens her eyes as she looks toward the horizon. The sun was starting to rise. It would morning soon, and the two would need to prepare to fight Solaris. The Matoran glances over at Ghar-Knel. He was sound asleep and looked almost at peace. It was always when you were sleeping that you seemed at peace; almost like looking at the cold face of a dead being who was passing from this world to the next. Almost soothing that they were finally at peace. Hopefully. The Matoran noticed she had moved a little bit closer toward the Vortixx. She found great comfort in the prescense of the Vortixx. More then she ever would with any one else; or so she thought. She finally had someone to be with her, someone to help her in life. And Ga'mal was determined to help him."Wake up, sleeping beauty," she whispers as she places her right hand on Ghar-Knel's left cheek.-Mef Man

IC(Ga'mal)

"Ten more," she repeats, smiling. "I'll get breakfast ready." Ga'mal steps out of her sleeping bag and stretches. Sleeping in armor isn't exactly the most comfortable way to bed down, but it worked. The Matoran walks down the hill as the sun rises completely. It was turning out to be a beautiful day. And, with this "Solaris" gone; it'll be even more beautiful. She thought of the dream while trekking down the hill. Was she really going to be rid of The Rel and Solaris? She hoped so. Ga'mal didn't know much about this "Solaris" but she knew more than enough of The Rel. An island without The Rel sounded like a nice one to her.Reaching the cart, she searches through the cart to find some food and means of cooking. She finds some ham that could be cooked up for breakfast, and she was sure she could find some edible herbs by the river. There was also a fire starter to strike a spark onto wood which would (hopefully) create a fire.Ga'mal walks back up the hill and silently lays the items on her sleeping back before gathering some twigs and flamamble items. The Ga'Matoran creates a small pit to place the wood in and lights the fire. "Done," she whispers before placing the ham on a frying pan she had picked up as well. Making a small support, she rests the pan on top of it to let the ham cook. The sound of it sizzling could be heard over the sound of the rushing water from the river. The scent could also be smelt; the ham being a delicious smell for the hungry traveller. The Matoran walks back to the Vortixx and leans down beside him. "I'll be back in a sec," she whispers before turning to the river. The Ga-Matoran walks down the hill again, but this time in the opposite direction.-Mef Man

IC: Ghar-Knel blinked. There was food nearby. He got up and inspected the ham in the frying pan. Mmmm, almost done. The Vortixx looked into the air. Soon, Solaris would be dead, and he would be free. He looked around for Ga'mal. She said she'd be back in a second. Shame that ham wasn't ready just yet.

IC(Ga'mal)

Ga'mal returns to the top of the hill, holding fresh herbs in her hand like a bride holding a bouquet of flowers."Good morning, Ghar," says Ga'mal as she walks over to the ham. She gently places the herbs on top of the ham and around it; allowling the ham to soak up the spices. "It should be ready to be eaten soon. Did you have good dreams?"-Mef man

IC: The three now walked back into the bar. Hau now led them onwards, bringing the group to the counter. The toa took a glance at the menu. Unlike many Ta-Koroans, Hau's father had been a merchant; the toa had been eating foods from all villages since he was young. Therefore, the martial artist knew exactly what he wanted to order with just that quick scan.He coughed once to get the attention of the guy behind the counter. "I'll have takea with a side of nori and water."

IC: Ghar-Knel smiled, maliciously."Why yes, I did," he said, savoring the scent of the ham and herbs. "There was this one where I identified the location of Solaris and his little friends." He bent over the pan to get a clearer intake of the smell. "They're on one of the Kumu Islets, and they're conveniently on their way back up here to Ga-Koro." He sat up and waited for his breakfast. "What about you, Ga'mal?"

IC(Ga'mal)

Ga'mal smiled coldly as she flipped the ham over with a knife; more sizzling being heard."I had a dream of your Solaris friend. A dream of us being rid of him. And of that Rel character." The Matoran couldn't help but smile at the thought of being rid of The Rel and Solaris. If they did that, then they would both be free from their grasp. "You could say I slept really well."I sound just like an assassin. Is that neccesarilly a bad thing?-Mef Man

IC: Ghar-Knel nodded. At least she was on board with this. But a romantic like her... when, not if, Solaris blabbed his side of the Plia story, would Ga'mal be on his side. His smile wavered ever so slightly for just a second. "Well, I'm glad," he said, looking eagerly at the ham. "I had a nice night's sleep, too. Now when's that ham going to be ready? I'm starving!"Perhaps being rid of The Rel wouldn't be so bad.

"I think it'd be a great idea to be rid of him." replied the Matoran quietly. She stabs the meat with her knife and lays it on a plate. She grabs two forks and a second knife. Laying them on a second plate, Ga'mal cuts the ham in half before putting half on her plate and the other half on Ghar-Knel's."Enjoy," she replies before cutting the meat into bite size pieces. Ga'mal presses her fork against one and places it in her mouth. The Ga-Matoran smiles and closes her eyes as the flavor sets in.-Mef Man

IC: Ghar-Knel had to remember to eat like he was a gentlemen in front of a lady, and not an assassin. He cut his ham with his knife and daintily placed the savory meat in his mouth. It was delicious!"You are a wonderful cook, Ga'mal," the Vortixx exclaimed. "And I can't wait to dispose of The Rel!"

"Thank you, Ghar," replies Ga'mal as she watches the Vortixx eat. "Now; you can't eat like that. All nice and neat. Why don't you really eat; like this." The Ga-Matoran tosses the knife and fork down before grabbing the ham with her bare hands. She shoves it into her mouth and rips a large chunk off. "Like this," she says while chewing, a big grin on her face. "I want you to enjoy my food; not cut it nice little rows."-Mef Man

IC: Ghar-Knel was relieved. He hated acting civilized. For the most part. He quickly dug in with no regard for 'manners.'"So when Solaris and his friend get here, how do you think you were going to handle it?" he asked, wiping his face violently with his forearm. "I hardly plan kills, but I think this needs finesse."Of course that's when he continued the massacre of the breakfast ham.

I'm planning the murder for a being I don't even know as well as one I do know. As long as it keeps Ghar alive, I'm fine with it."I'm not an expert killer; so I'll leave the planning to you," she replies before picking her knife and fork back up. IC: Ghar-Knel thought about it for a moment."Well, I'd imagine they'd come by a beach on a boat," he said. "So when they get out, we meet them there. I give Solaris a few last words, let the jury reach a verdict, and shoot him into the water one way or the other. The Rel senses something is wrong, so he comes down and bam, dead." The smile returned to his face. "It'll be much more elegant than that, though."With that, he finished his ham with a satisfied hum.

Probably going to be a gorgeous day. But Ghar-Knel wasn't worried about the weather."If I told you I was the one that robbed Solaris of the one he loved only because I was being payed, would you rethink your position?" he had to ask.

"No," replied Ga'mal without hesitating. "You were paid to do a job and you did it. Now we're going to deal with Solaris personally." She places her hand on his cheek. "Don't think I'd ever rethink being with you. I'm more than happy to be with you now and what you did in the past doesn't matter. What matters is the future and it's up to you to make a great one."
