IC - Veira - FightShe cursed as her feet were trapped. She had to think if something... There were no dead to raise around here...until she made it so. She stood no chance until she somehow subdued a particular Rahkshi. Suddenly reaching out, she gripped one of the staffs. Then, she made the Rahkshi's gravity lightweight, and flipped it. The desired effect was it being two feet from the ground, legs in the air. Then, she pulled down on the staff. Either it would let go and fly away, or it would come down. She made it's head as heavy as an anvil just in case.

[Kalama and Ta Rahkshi]

Xavier chuckled. "A convincing deception if it weren't true. In our line of work we take nothing for face value when it acts in a hostile manner. Especially when it does so to one of our own.""No Irregular survives on his own." Maw said."Everyone survives together." Tawk picked up. "The golden rule of the Irregulars is-""-never leave one of your own behind." Mawl finished."No one fights alone." The Onu-twins chorused."To threaten one Irregular, even by glaring at one of them, is to threaten to his entire squad." Xavier said before shrugging. "But I'm sure you didn't really mean anything. Easy come, easy go. We're not Guardsmen or Marines. They'd all jump you without a second thought if you looked at 'em funny."

IC: Moylan"Fine... but if anything starts going towards a rather violent ending, then I'm breaking them apart..."She sat on the ground, which wasn't really the ground, seeing as they were up in Le-Koro, and watched the fight, shaking her head. She quietly muttered to herself."Xxeth you cool dude.... you're here to talk to him, not fight him. And if you even try to kill him, you'll let him win in the end. You'll have proven him right... the only way to win is show him you've actually changed..."She drew two of her own swords into her hands, tossing one into the air and catching it a few times. Then she turned to Mimira."Hey, how did this fight even start?"

IC: Laserbeak, Le-KoroLaserbeak smiled. "Well, thanks for letting that one slide. And yes, you have a point about the Marines and Guardsmen. Fought Guardsmen before, it is seriously not fun." Her smile widened. "You guys remind me of my old team, what with the never leaving on of your own behind."

IC: Paka watched the fight carefully from beneath its guise. It would intervene when it deemed such action pertinent.The being utilized its illusion powers in conjunction with sound to create the guise that the kewa had taken off and fluttered away at the sound of a fight. In reality, Paka had merely flipped itself onto the side of the branch facing away from the rahkshi's location-none of those in the brawl could see it now-and transformed into a brakas monkey. The being sprawled out and splayed its limbs to hold onto the side without being seen. With one hand and Sonics, it noiselessly began to open the compartments in its armor containing throwing knives and withdrawing them.

IC - Mita - From the Onu-Koro tunnelsAfter finding her way through the underground road system, the traveling bard arrived in the jungle. The Toa of Sonics drew a breath of fresh air and sighed."Sing-song Le-Koro, they call it. Let's see if they live up to that name..."Mita wandered down the path which led to the treetop village, where she hoped her musical talents would be a bit more well-received than in the other villages.OOC: Open for interaction.

"They do make good shock troops that for sure. Second to none at least." Xavier agreed."Not to mention they're HOT!" Tawk said.Mawl howled before laughing in agreement.

IC: Laserbeak, Le-KoroLaserbeak grinned. "Back when I was a matoran, I was at least as pretty. Less so now, though." She laughed along with the others.

IC: Mimira"How'd it start? Well, there argue wasn't getting really anywhere, Skyra is pretty convinced that since pirating still involves hurting and killing innocents, it isn't much better than he's previous career. Then Xxeth got all angry and challenged Skyra to a duel."IC: Skyra, XxethSkyra really couldn't hear what everyone was shouting about, he was way to focused on the fight now. He still had Xxeth on the defensive.Xxeth was struggling to keep Skyra's attacks from hitting him, he was losing and he knew. Karz! He's been holding out on me this whole time! But I'll show him....Xxeth suddenly vanished in a dust cloud, he had gone behind Skyra, and was aiming for the kill on Skyra. Good bye...brother. He swung. *CLANG!* A katana went flying in the air and landed near the crowd, the blade piercing the ground. Xxeth looked at his hands, his blade had been knocked right out of his hands just like that. Skyra had done an incredible quick 180 and knocked Xxeth's blade right out of his hand. "It's over...brother....I've won." Xxeth collapsed to the ground, head lowered in defeat. "I....lost...."The fight was over. Skyra returned his katana into the sheathe on his back, and went to retrieve the other. Both combat's had minor cuts all over there bodies, and Skyra had a good clean cut across the right eye of his mask.

IC: Laserbeak, Le-KoroLaserbeak activated her mask, flew, and tackled Skyra, giving him a hug while simultaneously saying "Don't do that to me again. I had to give your sister a knock-out dart and my blowgun and told her to use them on me if I tried to intervene."

OOC: In future, I'd prefer if you cited which Rahkshi in particular you're attacking. The ones present are Density Control, Insect Control, Plant Control, Shapeshifting, Accuracy, and Molecular Disruption.IC:The Rahkshi of Molecular Disruption had been the one to take Veira's gravity assault. It slammed into the ground heavily, but showed no signs of damage. Meanwhile, the Rahkshi of Insect Control summoned a cloud of beetles, which flung themselves at Veira. The Rahkshi of Density made these insects as solid as bullets. The Rahkshi of Plant Control wove the trees nearby into a solid fence of branches - unknowingly trapping the concealed Paka within the circle, too. The other Rahkshi, including the Rahkshi of Molecular Disruption, which had gotten up after Veira's concentration broke to deflect or dodge the insects, went after her with their staves. The Rahkshi of Accuracy was most successful - it was, after all, a specialist of hitting moving targets. It delivered a deep cut to Veira's bicep on her arm. As the remaining Rahkshi joined in, Veira found herself in a storm of swirling blades from which the only escape was to become mincemeat. Held in place by this fence, the Rahkshi of Plant Control was able to ensnare her once more with roots from the earth. Veira was well and truly trapped. OOC: Taking on 6 Rahkshi by oneself is an endeavor with ridiculously low rates of survival...

IC: Onuzek"Yay! Skyra won!" he said, and lumbered over to him and Laserbeak.

IC: LansLans turned to Kylina, even though the duel was over he still felt like pointing this out. "Kylina, they dueled on the grounds of Gukko Force airfield. Isn't that prohibited? If an attack was to occur, their duel would only get in everyone's way."

OOC: Just so you know, everyone on the gukko force should recognize Xxeth as a wanted criminal, just saying... And we were using an unused section of the airfield....IC: Mimira"Yay I knew you could do it Skyra!" She cheeredIC: SkyraSkyra groaned from being tackled, he could now feel on his wounds, they stung bad. "I promise! I won't do that again! Honestly it's not something I really like to do..." Skyra looked at his fellow gukko force members. "Hey come on guys, you know me...besides, I'm a field agent, I know every loophole in the rules anyway."

"We're Irregulars. We don't care about what the Regulars do." Kylina said watching the match finish. "Besides, when have you ever seen a Gukko take off from an airstrip when it was under attack? It just flies straight up right away.""The airstrips are only used when coordinating air strikes among Wings." Xaiver said. "So the Vinesmen can load and launch with the Nui-Kopen already in formation along with their escorts. Otherwise we just summon the birds and dive off the nearest edge. Much easier to respond to an attack that way. Advantage of having a living thinking creature as a mount instead of some machinery."

IC: Laserbeak, Le-KoroHer expression a combination of annoyance and relief, LAserbeak proceeded to tear part of the lining of her boot out and started to dress the worst of Skyra's wounds. "I had to tell your sister, who I just met, to sedate me if I tried to help. I just met her!"

ooC: Lans is to busy criticizing to notice Xxeth, and an unused section is still Gukko Force Grounds.IC: LansHe looked at Kylina, "First I was a Regular I care, and if you had any respect for this Koro you would to. This is my home, I'd like to stay up to date on what it's protectors are doing. I don't turn a blind eye. Plus protocol still states that the airfields must remain clear of combat, damage done to it could mess up an operation.""Yeah, and while you are busy fighting, on Gukko Force grounds, you could've been spending your time protecting others. Instead you let stupid, personal feelings get in the way of your duty. You know better than this Skyra. Maybe if more Toa and Matoran stopped wasting there time on petty things. Some of our comrades would still be alive."

IC: Kethrye:Kethrye turned his head as he heard the faint sound of a swarm of insects and the sound of metal colliding with metal." Anyone else hear that?" he said, turning back toward the rest of the Island Liberation Squad.

IC: SkyraHe looked at Laserbeak. "I can see how that might be awkward. I'm sorry about all this, this wasn't even part of my mission." Skyra then focused his attention on the by-the-book rookie. "Listen. I know you mean well, but...you have no idea what I've been doing to protect this koro. I had to see Tamaru die for karz sake! So please, don't lecture me. It wasn't personal feelings that made me accept that duel. Yes Xxeth is my brother, and we all know I had to banish him for what he did. Did I let my personal feelings get in the way when I banished him? Nope. I dueled him today because he would have attacked me anyway if I refused, I was preventing further loss of life by coming here."

OOC: Well, I'm not going to move Alfon or Onyx away from HQ so good thing I currently have Itaku in Le-Wahi :DIC: ItakuHaving left Le-Koro a while ago to explore the jungle, Itaku soon found himself hearing strange noises in the distance, mostly buzzing noises resembling that of multiple insects. Heading in the direction of the sound, he stumbled upon a group of people talking about Rahkshi."I'm sorry but did you say Rahskshi?"

IC: Paka put its knives back into their places and closed the compartments as silently as it had done the reverse. It kept echolocating with sounds too high for anyone to hear save a De-Toa, but made no other action.

OOC: If we seriously attack that group of Rahkshi, I want each of you on immediate standby. Nuju Metru gets 6 attacks per round. We can't afford to have any less, or we get creamed.IC (Madrihk):"We should check it out, but first we need to take care of Aryll and this guy," he said, gesturing towards the still frozen Toa on the ground next to him. Then he noticed the new arrival, and immediately pointed his blade towards him."Who are you?" he growled. "We have already been ambushed once, so if you are another distraction, so help me, I'll carve your face off." In a much more friendly manner, he said: "But in the case you are genuinely here to help... yes, we are looking for Rahkshi. Did you not hear one scream a while ago? It echoed across the entire jungle."IC (Mevi):"Here goes," Mevi muttered, as she dragged the arrow out of Aryll. She tried not to mind the squishing sound or the crimson blood that trickled from both the wound and the weapon.

IC: Itaku"I did indeed hear the scream and it intrigued me. Trust me, if it weren't Rahkshi we're talking about, I'd pick a bone with you but since that's not the case, I'm here to pick a fight with those monsters. What's your story?"

IC: Lans"Right, so to prevent someone's death you attack them. What happened to talking, you don't seem me leaping up and at your throats."

IC: XxethXxeth had been listening to the rather dull conversation. "Oh...I'm pretty sure....I would have....I hate Skyra enough......to be that stupid...." He said while panting.IC: Skyra Skyra decided to ignore his brother. "Xxeth challenged me to a duel, which are perfectly legal and you know it! Now stop badgering me...it's annoying."

Xxeth did, and last I checked he was banished. Clearly he is in violation of this, as he is right there." Laserbeak pointed at Xxeth.

IC: Kethrye:"This..." Kethrye said, gesturing around at the others. " Is the Island Liberation Squad, a dedicated to freeing the island from Makuta and stuff." Kethrye shrugged. " I doubt you've ever heard about us. Although maybe word has spread since I last checked."

IC: Lans"Yeah not legal on Gukko Force grounds. Plus duels are a waste of time, for all we know there could be a Rahkshi attack here, like the one in Po, and too many of members are injured. Thus we get devastated even more." He took a look at Lazerbeak, "The first to attack isn't always the one at fault. Another's words can push someone on the edge to the point where they just lash out. Words can be deadly. Your talking did it involve criticizing and insults, are did you actually talk and listen."

You don't know how each of them died because nobody cares about us! We're the bloody Flakmeat in this force! Every name you see on this wall gave their LIVES to defend this Koro and the glorious shining pilots of the Regulars because they cared! "It haunts her still. She has vowed never again to lose someone like that. If she did, she would remember them. Nobody in the Gukko Force knows what we do because nobody will remember what the Flakmeat sacrificed for the Pilots to achieve. Well... not quite true. We remember them because nobody wants to be forgotten."

IC: LansLans shook his head, which was still throbbing, "I was unaware of that, but still do you really thinking that turning a blind eye to the activities of the Regulars really makes you any better. We all have a part to play, but that means also listening to the parts of others."

Xavier laughed again."It's that same pride that keeps us from paying attention to their actives." He said. "They want their pilots to be looked up to as the best. That's why they don't give any of the Irregulars the good missions like taking point and leading the way or those that get the job done." He tapped Lans's foremask. "You need to stop thinking like a Regular. You're an Irregular now. Our job is to wait until we're summoned to take the fall for a Regular's pilot to grab the glory.""Go for the gold!" Tawk announced."Winning point!" Mawl said."The right place at the right time!""Proud and strong!""Head held high!""Beloved by every Ga-Matoran!""We are none of these things.""We're the downtrodden-""-forgotten-""-doomed flakmeat-""-who never shine-""-in the limelight."Xavier gave Lans a kind smile.
