While they're in the middle of starting a fight up its a bit hard to stop and figure out why they're fighting.

And yeah, you'd generally side with someone you know a little and are friendly with than someone you don't know and has made a ponce of themselves once combat's breaking out.

I didn't expect him to walk up to his target and say "prepare to die". And I didn't expect him to be such a massive sore loser. Nor did I expect him to recruit the first thugs he ran into for the sake of some ill-concieved revenge quest.

 

His stupidity continues to amaze me.
